Sunday morning job for me on this card. Girlfriend's b-day is Saturday and I couldn't get out of festivities so I'll be picking up the torrent early Sunday. That's ok - easy to stay away from news/info overnight when I won't even be on the internet anyway.

The fact that you have to be the most retarded fucker alive to even think about doing something like that. That's what I didn't get.

I enjoyed it. Didn't love the ending but the rest of the movie more then made up for it.

I think there will still be a ton of island narrative. I'm also more interested in what the fuck happened to Locke on the island and how he reaches out to everyone as Bentham. Obviously the Bentham stuff is off island but we have to figure out how Locke fucks everything up first and that should take up a fairly sizeable part of the season. I'd say it's going to be pretty close to 50/50 myself.

After the New Year we'll finalize the contest, for those still interested. I admit - I started it waaaayyyy too early.

In regards to Marley and Me... the dog dies in just about every book like that. I read a lot of dogs books and the dog dies in just about every fucking one. It's always slightly depressing but when I'm at the book store and I can't find anything I grab a dog book... that makes me the sucker, I think.

UNC looks unstoppable. Undefeated season is still within the realm of possibility.

If Rosholt can't beat Sakara then he loses his blue chip prospect card. Immediately. With that said... Sakara isn't exactly the best opponent for a "zombie-fu" walk straight ahead without covering up fighter so Rosholt better have putten that Osterneck gameplan far behind him.

So the winner of Barnett/Yvel is fighting the winner of Arlovski/Fedor. Imagine Yvel upsets Barnett and then does something hilariously awful in his fight with Fedor like punch him in the nuts 7 consecutive times and then attack the ref. This might not be the smartest decision they've ever made.

Missing from the list: The Stand Ins by Okkervill River. It's nearly as good as The Stage Names and "Lost Coastlines", "Blue Tulip", "Singer Songwriter", and "Calling and Not Calling My Ex" are standout tracks that I will definitely still be listening to in 5 years+. Not sure about the complete snub.

Worst moaning of the year was Matt Riddle's KO of some dude in the TUF7 qualifying matches. Most embarrassing sound I've ever heard come out of a fighter. It sounded like that lady in the one viral video who fell from the grape stomping tower and smashed her face.

Los Campesinos is ok in a very "livejournalesque-look-at me-stream-of-consciousness" kind of way. But the songs are peppy and every once in awhile the lyrics are clever enough to cause me to crack a smile. "International Tweecore Underground" is my favorite song of theirs. I could have saved you the trouble of listening to them ahead of time, Czech... I figured it wouldn't be your thing.

Shaping up to be pretty good for a Spike card.

That's the first thing I thought of myself. He stutters ALOT. He always seems well prepared with good notes but then he talks far too quickly and jumbles 35-40% of his words. I hope he tones it down on the PPV.

Well - anyway - here is the whole list. I'm so out of touch... the only songs I've even heard are in bold. And the #1 song? I must be missing something. A few things: I don't get Fleet Foxes at all. To me, it's boring noise that makes The Decemberists look like the most rocking band in the universe. Glad to see "Ready for the Floor" so high... I love that song. I think the album was overrated but that's a great song. Beyonce at 23 is actually good too. Like "My Love" a few years ago... or "Umbrella"... sometimes a pop song is that good. I usually think Beyonce is garbage but "Single Ladies" is a damn good song. The rest wow... I haven't even heard of half of it.
