  1. Multiple streams have been listed so no more asking. Posts will be deleted.
  2. WTF are those lumps all over Hendrick's body? And man oh man was I wrong about Nate testing Maia's chin.
  3. I picked Brock but in no way do I think Randy is a long shot. And if he's hurt then I'm questioning my pick even more.
  4. ESPN.com doing the weigh-ins live with two ESPN guys with Bonnar and Mir being guest analysts and they are actually talking/giving commentary over the weigh-ins... in a way, treating it like every other sport. This is awesome. One step closer to mainstream acceptance.
  5. Checked out both of the CDs. Like the debut better as of now but they are both decent to good. Glad I downloaded them.
  6. Gay dad was the best. "I slap you, slap slap slap slap slap you. Oh, don't worry bitch, I didn't forget about you."
  7. Barncat by 1st round KO (no fucking T needed, thank you). Would I be surprised if he got subbed like a bitch? No. No I wouldn't. But I believe in Tamdan. Gonzaga over Hendriks (who is Xtreme Couture so even though I'm not familiar with him - I dunno... kinda like Reijlic... never heard of him but trains with Randy and looked amazing in his first big UFC fight). Still going to go with Gabe to rebound from Pussyitis and regain some of that "monster" form. Second round sub. Nate Quarry over Maia by 1st or 2nd round KO. Everyone to this point has been stupid enough to play into Maia's gameplan. Herman is a dumb white trash retarded fucktard who wanted to beat Maia at his own game... epic fail. And MacDonald is a cocky fucker who fought an awesomely stupid (but overall awesome to watch) fight against Maia and naturally got subbed. Maia needs his chin tested. Nate, if nothing else, should be good for that. I feel him pulling out a KO. Florian over Stevenson by 2nd round TKO due to strikes. Kenny is the clear #1 contender and I've lost all faith in Joe right now. BJ murdered him in front of his screaming, crying wife and then you may forget but Joe was not faring well his last time out until he caught that guillotine and won. I had him down in that fight. Brock new champ via 1st round TKO. Tim Sylvia and Gonzaga were both supposed to be "too big" for Randy because he was "too old". Here's the thing... Sylvia and Gonzaga put together are still about half as athletic and explosive as Brock Lesnar. Yes, Gonzaga is probably more skilled but Randy's old legs aren't going to be handle 280 pounds of fury exploding all over him and pretty much manhandling him. Somebody said up there that if Randy gets Brock on his back then it's over for Brock. I totally agree. But I just don't see Randy getting Brock on his back. I'd be more surprised at that then I was when Randy almost KO'd Sylvia in the first 30 seconds of his first comeback fight and I nearly jumped through my ceiling. Gotta go with Brock here... gut feeling.
  8. This will be the first card I make real money bets on. I'm a pussy so it's only $15 a fight. I was able to lock in Nate Quarry at +190, which I think is a pretty fair bet. I also got Brock, who is a slight favorite over Randy. Fun times!
  9. Urijah Faber protege Joe Benevides will make his WEC debut on the December 3rd card. He looked damn good in his DREAM bout. A nice addition to an already stacked card.
  10. So Pitchfork gave a really good review today to the band "Love is All" and compared this record (their second) to the second effort of The Clash and The Strokes. Has anyone heard this band? Is the comparison in scope/quality of the record or in sound? I'm at work so I can't check it out myself at the moment but maybe someone can stop me from wasting my time if the review is totally inaccurate.
  11. Even though the buildup has sucked I'm starting to get really amped for the fight.
  12. I already quit watching wrestling by the time he started so I'm not familiar with him. It will be interesting to see how he does. He certainly looks like he can be an athletic freak like Brock.
  13. That was a pretty interesting episode last night... brought the focus back on Chase and Cameron for the first time in years. It was ok... I wonder what they are going to do with House and Cuddy. I'm hoping they'll get together for just a little bit and it's not just an entire tease. I also think that Wilson was being serious when he admit his feelings for Cuddy.
  14. Well... that's not entirely true. There are a few threads for topics that are important but in the day to day operations of MMA most things honestly don't warrant a thread. If you want to make a Lashley thread that's fine by me.
  15. Japanese NYE show: Middleweight: Kazushi Sakuraba (24-11-1) vs. Kiyoshi Tamura (32-13-2) Lightweight: Joachim Hansen (19-7-1) vs. Gesias Cavalcante (14-2-1)
  16. I snapped it up before I even posted this. Always meant to buy the DVDs but like a lot of TV DVDs that aren't Lost, 24, or Seinfeld it's more wishful thinking then something I need to purchase. It was just too good to pass up.
  17. Totally. He had the mullet/ponytail combination and was shown in pictures with his family all dressed up and him in his workout clothes looking tough. Ugh. I also watched Randy's biography on A&E last night and they made no attempt at hiding the fact that Captain America cheated on his first wife and abandoned his kids. I found that odd.
  18. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DEO7LK/ $59.99, $110 off. Includes Volumes 1-6, Blue Harvest, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and American Dad Season 1. Total runtime: 2561 minutes For someone who has always been lazy enough to just never buy them... well this is the jackpot.
  19. Up until this morning that only MMA brand clothing I have owned is a GSP Affliction t-shirt. I felt the need to change that and ordered (a way overpriced at $30+$10 s/h) shirt from BJPenn.com. It was the corner man shirt from UFC 84 and it's the only one I thought wasn't laughable.
  20. I shouldn't be surprised by the fact that there are only two episodes left but I totally am. That caught me off guard.
  21. If the countdown show taught me anything it's that when he was in his 20s and early 30s...Randy was that guy. If you've seen it - you probably know what I mean. I don't think I would have liked that Randy Couture very much. Or at all even.
  22. http://thesuperficial.com/2008/11/amy_wine...efines_sexy.php Superficial doesn't allow direct-linking but this is getting out of hand.
  23. LOL. He was outstriking him at least. And please allow me one bias... it's my hometown fighter. The one and only relevant one right now.
  24. Fuck McLovin'. BARN CAT MOTHERFUCKERS. It's on now.
