Updates?

I am. I forgot to mention this last night but the countdown was on. I recorded it but I'd imagine it's the same high quality they have been busting out for the past few months. It was much earlier in the week then normal... I bet a lot of people missed it.

Well, I think Koscheck is a great replacement. The problem is: I don't think anyone is exactly clamoring for Kos to get another shot at GSP (Except EHME)... I mean he didn't exactly look like he could hang after the first one. Now the December show is without a main event. Hopefully they can put together something nice.

I found out today that Walmart and Target offer generic prescriptions for $4. Why does this anger me? Paid $96 for generic antibiotics only yesterday. Greeeat.

I used to love watching boxing before I got into MMA. I don't argue that there are a lot of great fights out there but for one reason or another I just can't get in to it any more. I don't think I can offer a truly logical explanation but I can't find myself getting into it or wanting to tune in to the fights.

I read a lot of the blogs in the Gawker network. I'd imagine that some of you read at least one (Deadspin, Gizmodo are the big ones... Idolator used to be). I'd just like to point out one that a lot of people probably never read or thought to click on but i've found it to be a great read and tremendously helpful. consumerist.com They find and list all good deals out on the web right now, they inform of companies that are engaging in unfair practices and they give a lot of good and useful tips on how to save money/eliminate debt and many other useful things. I found it a few days ago and I already found a few great ideas to use to help save money and eliminate some debt faster. It's worth at least a look.

All the clinching in a bad fight makes me turn it off immediately. I can't even watch it.

Hell, I'm from the Scranton area. That was funny to me. Mark Wahlberg talks to animals is the type of thing that keeps Andy around. It's all I hear people talking about this week besides Tina as Palin. I enjoyed it myself. Say hi to your mother for me.

Gurgel was depressed after losing to Miller? Man, Rich is really slacking in the comfort department.

Just to play devil's advocate... I think Kimbo, if anything, always has a least a puncher's change in every fight he's in. I mean that description is pretty accurate in regards to Kimbo, actually.

I'd imagine Joe watching events in a better situation then this... I don't know. Hey, ratings were high for the card. Probably never again, though.

Hader's Dafoe was fantastic. That was my favorite skit of that episode.

The real winners here were Affliction, I think. Those "Fedor Will Return" commercials were the shit. Petruzelli, lol. Hilarious. Can't wait to see what Bas has to say.

Hey, finally a controversial weigh-in. It's been a while.

Finally got around to watching the season. I have not much to add. Junie joins my Ed Herman memorial wing of fighters I want to watch have their jaw broken every time they fight. I like Bader, Krystof (sp?) for the LHWs. I have no picks for LW as of yet. Phillipe looked good, as did Junie, but I feel like he might self destruct.

My girlfriend's birthday is December 27th. Luckily I have two months and change to figure out a plan of attack here. I already made her watch UFC 88. She was impressed with Rashad's KO... that might help.
