When I was home over the holidays, we played this on two occasions. Both times 9 hours had gone by before anyone even fucking noticed. Great game and a great idea.

My first reaction was that was GSP's mom, but then again that was just what popped in my head. She looked too old to be his lady.

It's been a running joke between my friends and I all season that during Giants games I talk about how composed and confident Eli is. How he is the perfect quarterback and he always knows what he's doing on the field... sleeps in the film room, loves playing football more than life, etc. You know, a bunch of things that are the opposite of true. Despite all that, I secretly love Eli as the QB of my team. His aw shucks persona and anti-leader mentality has won me over somehow. I bet that deep down, alot of Giants fans feel the same way I do but they would never admit it. I'm really, really enjoying seeing him shut up a bunch of people by playing well in the post-season. No INTs yet and at this stage in his career he has a better playoff pedigree than Peyton did (remember there was a time when he was considered a choker, as well). No matter what happens next week, this postseason has been great to watch. I never expected the Giants to get this far, but I highly doubt next week will be a slaughter. I think they will play the Pack tough, maybe even win.

I wonder what's going to become of The Athlete. It's pretty clear he's one of the better MWs, but he can't get past Franklin and Silva would crush him. If he doesn't improve enough to be a legit contender, he'd be a pretty good gatekeeper. Hopefully he can string together another winning streak though.

There's probably not a single Topps card from 88 to 95 that you could get over $5 for on eBay. That's when they were so overproduced that they are worth nothing.

You're right. If you just skim it without really reading it you might think it's Matt Serra but if you read it it's obvious it's BJ. I just got excited for the prospect of that rematch. Speaking of BJ - Shrek is doing color commentary for the main event on Saturday. Should be interesting.

I own and enjoy Shaun of the Dead. I guess this one just didn't do it for me.

You don't. It's a very, very large MMA picks league. Fight camp = division in most other fantasy sports. There is also a wagering section that uses the real money betting lines, but it's fantasy wagering. You can also rank your top 10 in all weight classes and p4p and it makes a site wide list similar to ESPN Sportsnation type polls.

I finished listening to the whole thing. The song PujolJunkie mentioned is another one I liked - I also liked the closer... especially the drums. I see what you mean about it, though, Czech. Pretty good album, overall - I would say. Only a few skippers and some pretty good arrangements.

MMA Playground's new "season" starts w/ UFC 80. I thought maybe we can have a TSM fight camp, which would, in effect, be a TSM Fantasy league for MMA. I already created the camp so if people are interested in doing this I suppose you can just post your name and I can send the invite. I'm not sure how else to do it.

Well, they're not really leaked, they are available on your TV set. I myself was going to wait for the HBO HD broadcast because I don't have OnDemand in HD but then I found out that HBO HD doesn't have a lot of the TV shows in HD, including The Wire. As far as I'm concerned, The Wire airs on Mondays, because that's when I'm gonna watch all the new eps.

I spent all of December going through the old seasons of The Wire. I'm re-watching Lost: Season 3 now and then after that I'm going to run through Arrested Development and a rewatching of Flight of the Conchords, most likely.
