I just got an HDTV and Stuart Scott, so far, is the one who has turned out the ugliest from the increase in picture quality.

I really liked the Simpsons with Guidoland and Maggie saving the day.

UNC will be ranked in 2009. I like what Butch Davis is doing there. And this is great to watch. The year I went to UNC was the year they upset Miami when Miami was still good. This beating is bringing back good memories.

I think this is one instance where you really have to question the scheduling. I mean - obviously time-wise you can't have Serra/Hughes here but it makes all the sense in the world to have that fight in NJ so all of the meathead guidos can come out and support da champ.

I was just thinking about the Diamondbacks and the potential for the next few years. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they win multiple world series titles. Their lineup is young and scary good. A full year of development for some of these guys is going to mean a lot and Justin Upton isn't that much now but he's supposed to be the best of the group. And he's 20. It's kinda nuts that they are so successful now because they could be scary in 2 years.

Well, one of the main deals that they are mentioning is Miggy, Mitre and Jai Miller (pretty much a bust prospect but very fast) to TB for Evan Longoria, Wade Davis, Jacob McGee and Fernando Perez. That's a top 5 prospect (maybe #1 or #2) and two other mega upper tier prospects, so I guess that would be around what it would take.

I just bopped into the main Marlins messageboard for the first time in about two weeks and there is a 6 page thread about the front office wanting to trade Cabrera this offseason. It's not just idle speculation either, it appears. Damn it.
