He needs to be in the ring in a few years if he's not in the NFL. I called that one a year or two ago when I read he was at Ohio State. He HATES wrestling. I'm sure he'd love a couple of hundred thousand a year, if his career isn't in football. -

It's a war. There are losses. Yes, there are lots of good things happening but you have to look for them. The Mission Accomplished was for toppling the Iraqi government. That was done, and done quickly. The terrorists know their acts will be publicized around the world, especially by the likes of CNN so they keep doing them. They're blowing up their own people, just to get negative attention on the U.S. They're not stupid. Why do you have to discuss this like you're cutting a wrestling promo? (So fucking difficult?)
-
Violence and intimidation are the only things some of them understand.
-
No. Are murders and rapes? The point was what's being reported, and how. How many major stories do you see on the economy improving in Iraq, schools being built, and most of all, courageous soldiers doing extraordinary things?
-
Those are published by the same people that put out USA Today. Are you surprised, and by the timing? Here's a better article, from April but still worthy of reading: http://victorhanson.com/articles/hanson041206.html

Only racists would believe a significant amount of Tennessee voters would change their minds over the Ford ad. In this case, it's the racists believing whites, particularly white southerners, will reject a candidate just because he's black. The liberal media-yeah, it exists-jumped on this and continued on it for days. I live here. It was a non-issue in the state. It was made an issue by national media, particular the likes of the NY Times and this non biased commentator. Yes, there is racism, but yes, it's everywhere. Painting the state as a bunch of retarded idiots stuck in the 1960s was ridiculous, but expected, white southerners are the only group of people that can be ridiculed these days. Anybody else, it would be politically incorrect or racially insensitive. Look at the radio announcer fired for calling a candidate in Boston a fat lesbian. I'd like Olbermann fired for calling me retarded. The ad was a joke, the "Call Me" part was one of several pieces and was talking about Ford attending a playboy party and appearing in ads in a church-not that he lusted after white women. And on Iraq, to the point-look how many of the liberals' heroes believed the same things as President Bush.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Piper and Flair heel team for a couple of months.

Not talking about booking an angle or for an individual wrestler, just general ideas you think would help the product, especially for people watching at home: These are in random order: 1-Bring back male managers. Divas aren't managers in the old sense, I do like Melina managing Nitro though. I'm talking about the Bobby Heenan types. Give an Albert or a Matt Morgan a mouthpiece like that, and maybe they would have gotten over. Maybe not, but they'd have a lot better chance. You might say there's no Heenan out there, but Heenan, Blassie, more were wrestlers before they managed. Flair, Foley, Funk, guys that can talk, let them be managers. 2-Related to the managers, bring back heel stables. They don't even have to have a a manager but ones that do need one, get them one. Find them a reason to be together other than they're just heels. Big thing, leave the roster at 3 or 4, max. After that, too many get lost in the shuffle. Another thing, don't fall into the old NWO thing "Who's going to change sides." That really made me switch the channel sometimes. 3-If a wrestler gets no reaction at a taped show, give them canned reactions. I'd rather hear a fake reaction, face or heel heat, than no reaction at all. Where it's already being done, do it better. It's 2006, the technology should be there to make it sound real. 4-Merge the Raw and Smackdown titles, let the champ defend on both shows. 5-Make the IC title and US title co-number one contenders. Both wrestlers get regular shots at the belt. Maybe once every year to 18 months, have one of those win the belt, make a tournament for the US or IC title that's vacated. 6-Give more hype to secondary titles, and bring back the 6-man title to get heat for one of the stables. Bring back a TV title that's defended on both shows, every week. 7-As much as possible, don't talk about other matches and angles while a match is going on. I know it's necessary sometimes, but not 10 seconds into a Shelton match. 8-Either hire more women wrestlers with ability, wait until the number is built up through training, or end the division. There should be at least 6 who can wrestle, not embarrass themselves, and not risk hurting themself and the opponent. 9-Post a weekly top 10 on both shows on TV and the net, and not the stupid one on WWE.com. At times, make matches from the kayfabe list, #5 beats #4, they switch places next week. Add as much realism as possible. 10-Keep the announcers from name dropping hip musical acts, movies, etc. Lawler and JR aren't hip, keep that crap out of their headphones. 11-Limit heel or face turns to at least 18 months, unless it's for a good reason-unexpected crowd reaction, injuries, etc. 12-Limit the legend type segments. The more often they're done, the less effective they are. 13-More tag teams, permanent type tag teams, not just to booked for an eventual breakup and feud. No explanations really needed on this one.

Classic WCW Nitro, Thunder, & Saturday Night...

Good stuff. Amazing the amount of talent around that time. -
Hardly obsessed, just saw no reason for you to jump on someone for a reasonable comment.
-
He might be saying the casual fan would have an interest in it. Don't you have a preview to post?
-
The one where Angle sang the Jimmy Crack Corn song.
-
No, it was about when Goldust was electrocuted. Why was that so historical?
-
Was that when Abdullah was electrocuted, I missed the history segment.
-
But it would be a SWERVE~. You people do realize that Christian is heading to title matches and that Rhino has no next program set...right? How would it make sense to have Christian lose heading into the main event? He needed a strong win. Yes but they didn't follow net booking, so the whole thing was garbage.
-
Yeah I'm not sure how that happened exactly.
-
I think I double-posted, at around 9:53, if somebody could take that and this out or it will make no sense.
-
If that would make them not come back, they probably wouldn't be coming back anyway.

What's the big deal about winning in your hometown. If it made them mad, good, Christian is a heel so they should be mad. If every wrestler won in his hometown you'd be griping because it would be predictable.
