  1. The IC definitely bashed The Rock because he was becoming "corny" and "predictable" and his promos started getting boring because he'd say the same thing over and over. Stuff like "shove that sumbitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass" and "if you smell what the Rock is cookin'"....people just started getting bored with it. Same thing is happening with Cena. They're bored with him because his gimmick changed from a rapper, and they'd rather see him have some edge like Rock used to. He wasn't that great in the ring, either. However, he was better than current-day Cena.
  2. And yes he is.
  3. A lot of my favorites were already mentioned, but here's one that wasn't: Kurt Angle beating Stone Cold Steve Austin at Unforgiven 2001 during the whole Invasion angle. Angle makes Austin tap to the ankle lock and the place goes nuts, especially since it's in Kurt's hometown. Although Austin's hand was under the ropes, it didn't diminish the win much for me. How Kurt's family and friends come in and celebrate and hoist him on their shoulders and jump up and down is just an awesome visual to me. Especially since it seemed to coincide with Kurt's theme playing. They were sort of jumping to the beat.

  5. Maybe he realized it after he cost Bret the belt. This is fun.
  6. Was the Submission Match at WrestleMania 13 announced before Austin cost Bret the belt? I haven't been keeping a close eye on the MNW, I just record them and sometimes don't even watch them as I record them, so I don't really remember. They could have made the Bret/Austin match at WM 13 AFTER Austin cost Bret the belt, in which it would make a lot more sense he wanted to help Bret win back the belt.
  7. I've been able to find some pictures of her throughout the house, most of which were taken when she was younger. I regret not taking a recent picture of her on my phone or digital camera because I would have loved to just look at it at random times. I am going to get a dog just like her, a buchan, when I get married.
  8. The amount of heat (heel or face) Randy is getting from the crowd would qualify as "on fire".
  9. It's happened before. It doesn't really harm anybody at all. Orton is on fire right now, and Rhodes kicking his ass wouldn't really be doing him any favors.
  10. No reason? Guess you missed the backstage segment. Or the fact that Orton took his dad out, too.
  11. I've been here for a while but I post mostly in the WWE folder and General Wrestling folder and sometimes in the TNA folder.
  12. Just out of curiousity, what were those offensive comments?
  13. This morning, we had our dog put to sleep. She was a french buchan, and in the past few years she has had a really rough time. In that span, she's had various skin infections in which she bit her skin and made herself bleed all over her body, she went blind, she had kidney failure, tumors all over her body, arthritis -- all those the main problems. Her heart and her lungs were as healthy as ever, until last week. My mother took her to the vet and they said she had a heart murmor. We decided then that this morning would be the day. My father and my sister did not go, just me and my mother. It was as if my dog knew exactly what was going on, because she had been doing the exact opposite that she normally does. Just as recent as last week, and all before that, we would put her in a carrier and take her to the car and she would whine and everything until the trip was over. Today, she refused to go in the carrier, when I got her in the car, she was quiet the entire way there, and the only time she whimpered was when they were ready to sedate her. All last night she was following me and my mother wherever we went, and she hasn't done that in years. I asked my mother if our dog seemingly knew what was going to happen, and she really didn't know. So, they sedate her while they won't let us hold her, but my mom is petting her because she is whimpering and scared. After they sedate her, it doesn;t even take 10 seconds and she starts mellowing down, and they just lay her down and give her the needle. She didn't feel it at all, and I am thankful for that. She never closed her eyes. They were wide open. I didn't think I was going to cry, but of course it all hit me at once. I was a wreck. My mom tells me she has been a wreck all week, and I didn't even know because I am barely home during the week because I am so busy. It just hit me all at once and I think now I'm starting to calm a little bit. I will never get that image out of my head. From 1992 until 2007, she was the best dog anyone could ask for. RIP Starbright (yeah, I know, my sister picked out the name)
  14. But Booker is beloved by the internet, so he should get a break.
  15. So people shouldn't show any emotion toward wrestling? I can't believe someone with a faggy quote like the one in your sig would tell people not to be emotional about wrestling. 1.) You're one to talk about faggy quotes. Really? Posting an image of a joke baseball site is equivalent to some tool who is way too into wrestling writing some long dramatic quote about the stage of the business? Nah, nothing is as faggy as that. LOL. Another douchebag quote from the man who apparently has no shortage of them. So, I warrant a personal attack because I call people out on being too serious about a throwaway angle? I'm not the one taking things too seriously.
  16. So people shouldn't show any emotion toward wrestling? I can't believe someone with a faggy quote like the one in your sig would tell people not to be emotional about wrestling. 1.) You're one to talk about faggy quotes. 2.) I use "we" in an attempt to relate to the poster/reader/whoever. I HAVE evolved with the business of pro wrestling and I have a damn good idea of how it is run. I'm not stuck in the past like you are.
  17. For an angle like that? Which 95% of the internet didn't care for to begin with? It's stupid to get upset over something stupid.
  18. Every feud does not have to be serious. You have Cena/Orton on RAW and Hardy/MVP on Smackdown. One serious feud per show seems like a blessing right now because of all the shit we've had to endure. But I'm just laid back so very few things, if any, piss me off in the world of pro wrestling.
  19. I cannot believe people are upset about this. It is fucking pro wrestling. Stop acting like you bet money on it.
  20. Hi, people bend the truth a lot.
  21. Southwest NJ $2.51
  22. Touche.
  23. I don't even think Angle benefitted. He is the main reason I despise TNA today, it's ALL ANGLE ALL THE TIME. It's not necessary, especially since Angle is a shell of his former self.
  24. Why do people have a boner when WWE guys quit or get released and they automatically think they will benefit from going to TNA?
  25. Going back to the Buddy Landell stuff, I always wondered why him and Ric Flair had the EXACT same look, same robe, same hair, etc... Landell was even managed by J.J. Dillon. I was going to email Meltzer about this, but then I came across here and found the conversation about it. Was Flair a ripoff of Landell or vice versa? And why would you want to ripoff one of your own, which basically became a carbon copy? Landell even used the Figure Four, so this made me really confused as to why they would basically have clones.
