Nothing bugs me more than posters speaking for other posters. Yeah, you have the right to have your own opinion, but don't claim that you speak for everybody else's.

What would it take to make you interested in the WWE again
garfieldsnose replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Apparently, the referees have been instructed to call the match as a shoot, so they're not supposed to know who wins or loses (probably not in main event scenarios, though). They've been making sure the wrestler's shoulders are on the mat and there have been a few cases where we predict the person was supposed to kick out, but since they didn't get the shoulder up in time, the ref counted 3 (see Backlash- Lashley vs. Vince/Shane/Umaga). It's at least got my attention, be it a very small detail. -

I can picture a Cena loss to Orton or Kennedy, only to get the title back right away, or chase for a while. I think Cena will be able to draw without the belt, but I guess they're not ready to take it off him just yet. It's all business, doesn't have anything to do with talent, which is a bit sad, but understandable. If I ran a company, I'm making all the moves to increas revenue, and that's just what WWE's got to do. -

If Cena is going to be on Larry King Live Monday night does that mean he won't be at RAW? -
http://www.pantagraph.com/articles/2007/07...a6452021084.txt Girl's life is altered dramatically. Receiving food through a tube the rest of her life? I can't imagine how she feels or even her family right about now. I expect a lawsuit to come out of this definitely.

Wrestling has a simple formula. You can only come up with so many storylines and ideas before one of them stands out from the others. Expecting new and refreshing angles every week is a horrible expectation. -
Best Summerslam ever in my opinion was 1998, with 1992 a close second. I just got 24/7 the day after they took off Summerslam 1992, so I had to buy it elsewhere.

With the exception of the TLC matches, I think the Hardy/UT Ladder Match for the Undisputed Title is Jeff's best match. That match was a classic, and I wish I had it on tape. -
Your negativity should be used elsewhere. Why do you even grace the WWE folder with your presence when all of your posts are negative?

Doesn't everyone realize they want Punk to chase the title? It's not about if he wins it, it's more of when. I don't see a problem having him chase the title, since you know, that's what top faces are supposed to do before they win it.

You never know with Vince. He has a sick mind, just think about some of the storylines throughout the years. I wouldn't be surprised that a little part of Vince would have loved Benoit to not commit suicide and to somehow avoid any prison sentence (or minimal sentence) so he could hire him again and turn him into the biggest heel in the company's history. "Hire him" under the excuse that a man is allowed to make a living. If that scenario was at all possible (which is not because Benoit would have been in prison for the rest of his days), there's no doubt in my mind Vince would have considered it. Don't ever think for a second that Vince McMahon would be the only promoter to ever do that. -

Deja vu. I must have read this a few times in this thread and on other boards. -

Since the reports are saying Vince has been a rock of strength for everybody, I think this speaks volumes about his character. Since people think he's Satan, he could've come out last night and been pissed because his storyline is no longer. He's a classy guy when he needs to be, and that's what matters. Tonight will be just matches, no angles or storylines, and I hope no tributes. -
Looking back, I realize the flaw in my argument. Kennedy would be on fire when he returns. But, that's the risk you take if you want to capitalize on a major feud that could happen in the future. Barring any more injuries, I'd love to see an Edge/Kennedy feud that lasts longer than a month.
-
Honestly, I don't know why many of you could be missing a major angle happening here. Kennedy drafted to RAW....he could coast in a few feuds...up until the Rumble. Wins the Rumble, turns face in the process while challenging Edge for SD's World Title. SD pretty much has their next two champs in line if they're gonna keep it on Edge. Why rush an Edge/Kennedy feud? Slow build = big payoff. I'd love to see Kennedy vs. Edge at WM 24 with Kennedy winning.

when did WWE ever care about their midcard?
-
Doesn't have to be the answer. What talent is there that they won't ruin? Better to work with what you already have.
-
.....or they could just be trying to make RAW a little better on the wrestling side. Christ, some of you people...
-
If you don't know the difference between how they tell us it's entertainment and not real, and how they tell us the injuries can be real, then I think you need to get a bit of common sense.

Yep, it was the fault of a completely green rookie on his first week of training. Damn him for not knowing all the million ways you can get hurt in the ring. He should've used his River Tam psychic powers to see that one coming. Ya see, I have looked it up. And the official explanations are full of holes, since the move they claim Brian Ong was supposed to be taking, uh, doesn't really exist in wrestling. Of course, having a 7+ foot, really clumsy monster give your n00bs a bunch of moves is pretty much asking for trouble. But I'm sure you're right, the reason I disagree is because I'm gullible. Must be all those bumps I've taken in the ring, including landing on my head a few times, makes me downright naive. Yes. You're a bitter old bastard. I want to see it too. Well, your statement about Khali killing a guy is naive. Maybe you just used a poor selection of words. -

I thought everyone knew Khali didn't kill the guy in the ring.... It's just some bullshit rumor someone started to make people hate him. It was the dude who he was working with's fault...not Khali's. Maybe if you looked it up instead of being so gullible, you'd see.
