I've seen news stories that WWE is offering Jericho a seven figure deal. All dirt-sheets should be taken with a grain of salt, but just saying, I don't think they'll have HHH 'berry' him if that's the case.

The only problem with Cena drawing a negative reaction is that it doesn't fit the story WWE is trying to tell. People do want to see him lose, and people will pay for that, but the other person is portrayed as the heel, clearly. If they turned him into more of a tweener character this could work better.

Actually to be truthful I would prefer CM Punk have an ECW title run before switching brands, because otherwise, he's liable to be stuck in midcard limbo on the other brands. A title run would give him some valuable credibility.
