I disagree with RVD for the sole reason I would have waited a month and done it at Survivor Series. No Mercy's main event should have ended with RVD hitting Angle with the Five Star Frog Splash and, while RVD was selling the ribs on impact as usual, Austin sneaking in to pin Angle and escape with the belt. That leads to RVD vs. Austin at Survivor Series, with RVD taking the gold. Hell, even if the decision would have been made to have Austin keep the belt, I still feel the above finish leading to Survivor Series would have been better for RVD's career (and the WWF's health) than RVD jobbing clean in the three way did.

At the 2004 Hall of Fame, after accidentally saying "WWF": "You want wildlife? Share a room at the Howard Johnson's with Afa and Sika, the Samoans. That's wildlife!"

In as "Deans of Fantasy NFL". That's like four leagues this season

I think JBL lifted the shoulder to continue the punishment, and the ref said 'fuck it'. Except: A.) JBL didn't lift the shoulder, and B.) WWE precedent is always to disqualify the heel for doing that

Whats your agent name? Jared Hawkins. Lv. 11 QB. Helps to check this thread more than once a week, I suppose.

No for 9/2 (will probably promo) but yes for Genesis.

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion
JHawk replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in WWE Multimedia
Storm's real name was Jeff Warner, and he got decent pushes in Minnesota indies before a brief WCW run. Never knew he had any WWE appearances. Saw him in WCW live at a house show against Mike Rotundo, notable only for me and my brother being the only ones in the building cheering him. Every time the ref would ask if he cheated, he'd have the referee ask us, and we'd say no. -
I still have a level 11 QB waiting for a team.

The 'Why the show's late even though I said it wouldn't be
JHawk replied to Toxxic's topic in Brandon Truitt
Sorry I completely missed this one. I've had some net access but my computer completely crashed so I didn't have any sort of word program to work with. Give me next show off and I'll try to get set up with the following one. -
If anything opens up I'd like in.

A big black dude with an Amish name is cliche.

Paul Christy was acutally a pretty good wrestler in his prime but is nearing retirement here.
-
I've got a Level 11 QB who needs a team. Using my real name because I'm not creative

"Before we go to the main event, here is Jesse Ventura to pose for no reason." Book it!

Pregame coverage did start at 7/6 Central. After half an hour of "OMG THIS IS THE LAST ASG AT YANKEE STADIUM EVER WHO CARES ABOUT THE ACTUAL GAME" I decided not to watch. Does mlb.com have an archive of it?

I'd agree with this. Vegetarians just don't eat meat. Vegans try to make you feel guilty about eating meat. Lettuce is a living thing too, but I don't see a lot of "free the salad" protests going on.

Draft fever at TSM spawned this week's show. The gang at Smart Mark Radio has drafted their dream rosters, and now you get to vote for the best roster. Listen to the archive at www. blogtalkradio. com/smartmarkradio. Then, after the show, vote for your favorite roster. Drafters were able to pick one singles or tag team at a time, with a limit of one three person faction. And as an incentive to listen to the show and pick a winner, one voter at random will have $10 deposited into their paypal account. Please choose your favorite roster by e-mailing [email protected]. Remember to leave your e-mail address in case you win so you can receive your money. Voting ends at the end of next week's show with special guest Bob Roop. Yes, that's right. We will have an exclusive interview with former Olympian and professional wrestler Bob Roop live next week. Link and info in the sig.

Yeah, for real. I'm surprised anyone believed it, considering A) I probably wouldn't want to post on a message board, B) I'd be ashamed that it happened, considering I'd just claimed I had drinking under control, and C) I had just said I was going to write a fake addiction memoir. I was hoping it was real so I could raise the question: What's the better TSM scenerio, posting on a message board before getting an ambulance, or at a girls house about to get sex? More people make fun of you if it's at a girl's house about to have sex. Unless, of course, some psycho chick beats you up before you go into said ambulance. I'd call it a wash.

I was at that PPV. After RVD and Jericho lost (I think it was those two) everyone just sat down and didn't say shit besides the fat white trash bitch in front of us goin bonkers for Jaime Knoble the whole time. My best memory of that show was the "She's a crack whore" chant at Nidia. I thought I was back at an ECW show for 30 seconds.

Up All Night With MarvinisaLunatic Part 2 Non Gulag Edition

Round One Cleary Rampage's round IMO. Not by a wide wide margin, but Rampage's power shots helped him take the round. Jackson 10-9 Round Two All Forrest. If Rampage does anything after the takedown it's a 10-9 down, but he did nothing and got absolutely dominated. And for those say "all he did was smother him" I suppose elbows and punches are no longer scoring blows. 10-8 for Griffin (19-18 Griffin). Round Three Close round that I gave to Forrest. If you look for just power shots you probably gave it to Rampage. However, Griffin was the aggressor for most of the round as Rampage played defense and backed up most of the round. Griffin 10-9 (29-27) Round Four Jackson is aggressive and wins this one. Here the round is close enough to where the power shots ended up being the difference. Jackson 10-9 (38-37 Griffin) Round Five Very tough round to score. But again, Jackson lands the power shots, but Griffin is more aggressive and lands more, stealing a close round. Griffin 10-9 (48-46 Griffin) Looks like a good decision to me, although the fifth round was close enough that had the fight ended up a draw I wouldn't have argued. There's no controversy here. Even Rampage said "Naw, he just whooped my ass." There's no controversy here. This reminds me of a boxing match years ago between Greg Haugen and Vinny Pazienza where Pazienza won a split decision when he ran the entire fight, and the rationale was "Haugen didn't hit him." The judges apparently ignored the fact that Pazienza wasn't throwing punches. Those of you calling controversy probably would have agreed with the judging in that fight.

Here's a stat for Marvin. The Orioles have never won when they score less than the other team. Seriously, who cares? My team's playing like shit too, and it ain't just on Sundays. Same with the Os

Actually there are limits to how many times each network can show a particular team. -FOX can select the same team 9 times. -TBS can select the same team 13 times. -ESPN can select the same team 5 times on Sunday Night Baseball. So that's 27 Yankees and/or Red Sox games every season, not including weekday ESPN games. Which means every sixth Yankee game can be national. I might have seen the Devil Rays once this season, and they have a better record than the Yankees and Red Sox. Yet I've seen at least three Red Sox games every week for most of the season. You'd think nothing west of New York City existed.
