In as Carolina Horsemen. Now to try to figure out who the hell to draft when my turn comes up.
-
My Yahoo's not letting me sign up, but I'll try it again. Just so you know I'm not trying to avoid registering or anything.
-
I did miss it, so the post has been edited to reflect the correct scoring.
-
On a side note to Matt Young, sorting through the keepers might be a pain in the ass, but it's not a hard concept to grasp. Anyway, my fourth and fifth round picks: RP Brian Wilson C Bengie Molina
-
So it's my pick then?

Sting-Angle required Angle breaking the pin and stealing it from Sting to steal the title. Instant feud without too much effort. Kick Sting out of the MEM on Thursday and you have your main event. Sting pinning Bubba clean builds nothing. All the intrigue of the MEM not getting along is shot. I think there's a better shot of Sting-Hernandez than Sting-Angle next month.

Congratulations to MillenniumMan831 and Broward83 for going 7 for 7 tonight and earning the five bonus points. Here are the full results (match times are approximate due to stream buffering). 1. TNA X Division Champion Alex Shelley pinned Eric Young with a roll up in 13:03. 2. Scott Steiner pinned Petey Williams with the Steiner Screwdriver in 11:14. 3. Brutus Magnus pinned Chris Sabin with Tormentum in 6:50. (This match was not scored) 4. TNA Knockout Champion Awesome Kong pinned ODB with the Implant Buster in 5:32. 5. TNA Legends Champion Booker T pinned Shane Sewell with the Scissors Kick at 6:01. 6. Abyss pinned Matt Morgan with the Black Hole Slam in 15:38. 7. TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money Inc. defeated Lethal Consequences when Robert Roode pinned Jay Lethal at 15:39 after James Storm hit Lethal with a chain. 8. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting defeated Brother Ray, Brother Devon, and Kurt Angle in 14:33, pinning Brother Ray with the Scorpion Death Drop. BONUS: Samoa Joe appeared but did not attack, so nobody earned the bonus points. Tonight's scores: 1. Broward83 (13 pts) 2. MillenniumMan831 (12 pts) 3(tied). King Cucaracha, Vampiro69, ExSlade ZX (7 pts) 6(tied). Jebus, The Ghost of bps21, JHawk, Ed Wood Caufield, Diamonddust, Aero (6 pts) 12(tied). CubbyBr, 6foot9, RepoMan (5 pts) 15(tied). fazzle, korndogg123 (4pts) 17. Canadian Destroyer (3pts) Fourteen no-shows in all. Overall standings with two events remaining in quarter one: 1. Exslade ZX (29pts) 2. Broward83 (28pts) 3. The Ghost of bps21 (26pts) 4. CubbyBr (24pts) 5. King Cucaracha (21pts) 6. MillenniumMan831 (19pts) 7 (tied). Aero (18pts) Diamonddust (18pts) Ed Wood Caufield (18pts) Jebus (18pts) JHawk (18pts) Vampiro69 (18pts) 13. Canadian Destroyer (16pts) 14 (tied). 6foot9 (15pts) fazzle (15pts) 16. RepoMan (14pts) 17 (tied). haws bah gawd (12pts) The Franchise (12pts) 19 (tied). daileyxplanet (11pts) korndogg123 (11pts) 21. Enigma (9pts) 22. Toxxic (8pts) 23. DMann2003 (5pts) 24. shadylpete (4pts) 25 (tied). 909 (3pts) Didak 29 (3pts) 27. Kristianna (1pt) 28 (tied). Fartsauce (0pts) Shooting Star (0pts) The Buzz (0pts) UndertakerHart (0pts) MillenniumMan831 jumps up 15 full spots and is just outside of the top 5 after a horrific Genesis and so-so Royal Rumble. Exslade ZX maintains his lead, but with No Way Out and Destination X on the horizon, it's a five person race. And as tonight shows, one perfect night can shoot anybody in the top 15 into contention. And fuck TNA for not doing the obvious and have Angle steal Sting's pin, as that kept me from getting the perfection bonus in my own contest. Seriously, the one finish that makes sense from a kayfabe standpoint, and they don't do it. I could have snuck into the top 5 myself with that.
-
They tried,Angle broke up the pin.
-
It should be noted that out of 31 signed up for the PPV predictions contest, only 17 sent in picks today, meaning almost half of the people on TSM who can potentially make money as a result of this card actually remembered and/or cared.

Because The Wrestler never hit the marginal theatres and stayed in the big cities?
-
Here's the catch. If you choose one person and he attacks several, including your guy, you get the point. You can choose the MEM if you want, but if he attacks everyone but Sting, it wouldn't technically count. Is that fair for everyone? What would happen if after the main event, the MEM beats down Sting, essentially kicking him out of MEM and Joe beats up everyone and has a stair down with Sting, he beat up everyone but Sting, but Sting was kicked out of MEM? *sigh* Assuming there's an attack by Joe, I'll make a judgment call based on what happens. But assuming Sting is kicked out before a Joe attack, then a pick for MEM would count for the point.
-
Because Vince Russo didn't care about continuity?

Sorry I wasn't around guys, but computer issues kept me from actually logging on to draft. That said: SP A.J. Burnett BTW, joining a keeper league after the first season sucks.
-
Since splitting the prize seems to be getting the most support, that's probably the way it'll go. I really do not anticipate a tie, but it is certainly a possiblity with PPVs to go in season one.
-
No. Any others?
-
I hadn't considered that. Any suggestions?
-
So who forgot to update their rosters?

Chiming in late I know, but I had thought he was already dead, so...

More from working for that satellite TV company: Some guy threatened to call the FCC on us because we didn't inform him when we'd start charging for the protection he received free for 12 months...even though the bill was clearly marked "DHPP Credit 12 of 12" on his final month. Somehow it's our fault that he didn't read his bill. Sadly, I probably would have worked with him had he not waited four months to call in and bitch. The funny part of the conversation: Him: "Do you read every bill you get line by line?" Me: "Yes, sir, I do, especially if I notice an increase in my bill so I can figure out why it's higher and call immediately if need be." Him: "Bullshit. Like I'm supposed to believe you." Me: "I'm very sorry, sir." Him: "So who do I call, the FTC or the FCC?" Me: "Sir, I'm not sure you can call the FCC and the FTC because you didn't read your bill thoroughly." Him: "So now you're insulting me. I want your supervisor." You call me a liar, but I'm insulting you? Nice. Sadly, if the call gets graded I'll get written up for it, but fuck it, I'm getting tired of having to deal with the morons.

Ongoing ECW Spoilers for Jan 27, 2009
JHawk replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
For the record, Finlay-Burchill gets about 4 1/2 minutes. Henry-Dreamer gets about 5 1/2. Only in WWE can the guy with the retirement angle not get pushed.
