    WWE 24/7

Thin week unless I still don't have all the updates. Just "Cause Stone Cold Said So", an old Sunny special, and the newest History of ECW. Anything I'm missing so I can bitch to my cable company?
  2. If this restarts, I'm there!
  3. The botched shooting star press at WrestleMania was the only time Lesnar tried the move in WWE.
  4. The length did bother me because the title wasn't on the line. Other than that, no complaints. Awesome main event.
  5. "Which Golden Girl was the hottest?"
  6. Rhino got fired over a fucking flower pot. Orton still (as of now) has a job. Something ain't right here.
  7. If the losses to Khali and Henry would have led to something like title matches where Rey somehow found a way to win, that would have been one thing. But there was no follow-up.
  8. John Cena and Bret Hart top ten all time? And this list doesn't have Bruno Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes, or Gorgeous George on it?
  9. "Where's My Pizza?" ("Sal E. Ate It!")

The MSG show showed up overnight, so I'm getting ready to sit down and watch it now.

Not getting the MSG show or the new MNW, and the two things I got this bloody thing for are old MSG shows and the Monday Night War.
  12. Because they realized it was a bad idea? Wait, it's Vince we're talking about. I don't know then
  13. I had always thought he was a pretty good talker and played the gimmick well. But he's definitely my Most Improved Wrestler of the Year thus far. He's getting better in the ring all the time.
  14. Can somebody explain to me why many of the same people that were offended by the comment are the same ones that go out and buy the latest rap CDs where women in general, not just black women (although it's usually implied), are called a lot worse than "nappy-headed hos"? And why do people even still listen to Al Sharpton when he proved years ago that he doesn't know what he's talking about?
  15. Battle royal on Impact to determine a contender? Ten Way Dance at Sacrifice?

Having watches the Armageddon ladder match, I'm surprised Mercury was the only serious injury. How the hell didn't Regal break his neck after that Sliced Bread #2 off the ladder?
  17. Oh My God, he's right!
  18. Holly's TV debut was the 1994 Royal Rumble, preceding Triple H by over a year.
  19. Mid-South wasn't actually a member of the NWA, although Watts was ablw to get dates with the NWA World Champion on occasion. Plus, Watts said in his shoot interview that he told Crockett Vince was looking into buying the company, so Crockett thought he was keeping Vince from getting the UWF. Problem is Vince never made on offer. Bill Watts: Super Genius.
  20. In fairness to Imus, not too many white women or hispanic women wear their hair like the second one from the right. Doesn't make the comment right, but still.

Kind of weird seeing The Machines and Big John Studd a full six months after they'd already left the company. Good show overall though. Watching Armageddon now, but I might stop it after the ladder match.
  22. Piper shouldn't have won it, but he should have had the WrestleMania 2 slot in the cage. Seriously, what makes more sense from a marketing perspective? Blowing off a feud that's lasted over a year? Or hotshotting some random heel into the main event slot?
  23. For the people bitching about the double pin, Orton's portion of the pin does count. All you have to do is touch your opponent to pin him. Remember Jesse Ventura's famous SNME call "Bundy's foot is touching Hogan's!" when Bundy was demanding the five count. That said, if you're going to book a draw in a long match like that, why not just book a 20-minute broadway? I guess "time limit draw" is obsolete like "belt" seems too much like wrestling.

Only about six minutes or so. Five more minutes and it would have blown the rest of the card away.

Having watched the Boston Garden show this morning the thoughts occured to me during the Lanny Poffo-D.J. Peterson match: 1. Peterson had some talent and probably would have been a solid midcarder had he stuck around. 2. While Randy Savage was the more famous brother and could certainly work some fantastic matches, Lanny Poffo was actually the better athlete of the two. He did some shit that was just unheard of in the States at the time (a springboard somersault senton in 1988?), and had he been born ten years later he could have been the guy having classic upon classic with Rey Misterio Jr. and Dean Malenko in the WCW cruiserweight division.
