And a darn good one at that! Actually I think if we've learned anything before the thread started to degrade, I think it's that HHHating is looked on as a clique by everyone BUT the thread's alleged "leaders". Even though joining "the clique" (which I'd hardly call a "cult" following given how many people are "in it") is in some ways paramount to just being a smark sheep and going with something because it's cool, it could also just be coincidence, as you can hate HHH without being a bandwagon jumper. The problem is the assumption that every person who dislikes HHH is a bandwagon jumper... and even if that were true, what's wrong with a bandwagon jumper? It doesn't make one's opinions any less valid, because they happen to be influenced or shared by others.

 

However, at the same time it doesn't look like this situation will be resolved anytime soon either. Just as prejudice from many of us exists towards every one of HHH's actions, HHH fans on this board look at every one of our posts with even more prejudice. So... stop the hate! Why can't we all just get along, eh?

Man, I just have to love how this thread turned out.

 

 

I want to thank all the posters out there who responded to my original post. I felt it was important to address the situation at hand and the results were very favorable. For the most part, intelligent arguments and commentary were made about this subject. And for all of this to happen in NHB folder just rules. Part of the reason I put it here was the topic didn't have to do with WWE. It does revolve around a certain someone in WWE, but I think that this entire thread is more about where we are as a board and more importantly where we could be headed if more and more of us start to post more intelligently. I'm not saying every single post has to be dead serious with well thought out arguments, but I feel that if a subject such as HHHating has a community divided that we should all look to see where the other is coming from before going off the deep end and shunning folks out and what not.

 

 

Again part of the beauty of the board is to share your thoughts and opinions with others who dig what you dig. Part of that is running into folks that have a different view or opinion than yours. In the future I will try to see what angle or slant a fellow poster may have if I don't agree with his or her line of thinking. And that kind of thinking will be used on the other folders. Here, you can post whatever shit you want whether it be fact based or ignorant as hell. I'm not saying you guys have to behave like you did in this thread all the time, just to give a little thought and maybe ask someone to explain themselves. It can't hurt. If they don't explain then you can decide whether to deal with them or not.
