Guest chirs3 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Ladies and germs, I hate to admit this... I enjoyed Smackdown. MORE than I enjoyed Raw. Aside from the totally pointless Rikishivon match, everything ranged from, at the least, "Has a purpose", to at best, "Damn good match." Rockage vs Toothless Heat was a really good match. Rey Rey busted out more actual offense, and that springboard moonsault to the outside was a thing of beauty. The backstage vignettes with Bischoff (who I am loving more and more) were well done... I did have a few problems, though... ---> Cena. DROP THE COMEDY ACT. Anyone else think he'd be better as the rookie posterboy for Ruthless Aggression, like when he started? ---> Angle was teased toward Facedome tonight, and I'm a little ticked he was just tossed back into Heelville with the attempted chair and everything. They could have at least Tweened him. ---> Rock sold the Crossface wrong. When Benoit let go, The Rock was dead, and the tap was a little unconvincing. Wanna put Benoit over, have Rock tap like his hand is on fire. But still... a really good show tonight.

I don't get the point of Lesnar and Hogan feuding considering it's going to be Rock/Brock at the PPV, not Hogan/Lesnar. This way each show has a belt. Plus, Smackdown! needs more good workers. Why not move Eddie & Benoit?

Raw: Hardcore, Tag SD!: Intercontinental, Cruiserweight Both: World, Women's If they'll do something decent with the Hardcore Title (Hello? Dreamer/Stevens fued with more matches like the Singapore Cane one they had two weeks ago? Come on!), then it could balance out.
