I think the most innovated Ground move I seen State side is Lowki's Ki Krusher 99, with 2nd place going to...Low Ki's Dragon Clutch.

To be fair, I think Low-Ki stole the Ki-Krusher from someone in Japan, who used it as the "Perfect Driver", or something like that. I could be wrong though.

 

And Red Star Press = SSP, done from a standing position on the mat. Yeah.

AJ Styles finisher Styles Clash is also an innovative move, ditto on Spinal Tap

 

and the 5 ways Low Ki uses the Dragon Sleeper are mark out moments for me

The one move I always find Breath taking just from the general motion and experience needed to pull it off was that fricken Dragoncanrana. I don't think anyone except maybe for rey can pull it off in the states.

Rey has pulled it off before. It looked like shit, but he did it. Actually, I think the move looking good depends largely on who's taking it, because most of the times I've seen Dragon Kid do it on someone besides SUWA, it hasn't looked that good.

 

The Perfect Driver starts out like a Fisherman's suplex, except that instead of hooking the left leg with the right arm, you hook the right arm across to with the right arm. From there you rotate them into Steiner Screwdriver possitin and drop them in a sit-out tombstone. If that's Ki's move, he got it from CIMA.

Dragoncarana. is a Top rope 450 forward flip onto a Standing Opponent then hitting the rana

It's simply, "Dragonrana" not "Dragoncarana".

 

And an Exploder is a T-Bone suplex. Exploder '98 is Noble's pumphandle T-Bone.

This may just be my sleep-deprived brain talking, but I believe in No Mercy, HHH's top rope special to a standing opponent is a dragonrana.

Yeah, Low Ki is doing a Perfect Driver...the move looks awesome whatever you want to call it. I'd never take that kind of head bump in a million years, especially the way Red got folded up with it. Brutal.

 

Does anyone have a quick vid of the cutthroat suplex that one of the Briscoe Brothers is doing (Mark, I think)? I'd like to see that.

When Low-ki faught Red a month/5 weeks ago, Red did something that.... well, I can't even BEGIN to describe... it was like a sunset flip into a powerbomb, without doing a sunset flip... if that makes sense. If you've seen the match, you know the move. Anyway, someone was telling me that someone else has done it before... what is it called, because I was in such awe after that... I couldn't speak...

So, i go to school and miss this whole thread, but everything seems right.

 

Prefect Driver = Cross Legged Fishermans MD2

Ki Krusher '99 = Fishermans MD2

 

Exploders hook the head, T bones hook the wasit. But are both the same vain of move.

 

Red's move is Code Red i think, been done many times, just not as a sig move.

 

There are two versions of the StarDust Press, Luger's and Busa's. A Corkscrew Moonsault (I think) and and Phoenix Splash respectivly.

 

Cuthroat Suplex = Half GokuRaku Inverted DVD (it is not a Burning Hammer, it lacks the set up).

 

I'm here so ask away if there's any more or ones i missed.

If you want innovative moves, look no farther than the 17-year-old wunderking known as NWA Wildside's & TNA's Slim J, who seems to invent new moves in every match. His finish: he gets them up on his shoulders as if they were riding piggyback, then reaches up, tucks their head down towards his waistline, and drives them neck-first into the mat. Brutal and beautiful.

From what I heard in Toryumon ARAI does some kind of No look Flipping Headbutt off the top rope. Now I only have one tape from them and he wasn't on it. It sounds like he did a Moonsault manuever and only his head made contact is that right?

Nope, he faces outwardsm falls backswards blind, and turns round to headbutt the opp just before he hits.

 

Moonsault headbutts arent dont as they look like utter shit aka a messed up moonsault.

About the Shining Wizard stuff eariler, i knew i missed something.

 

Shining Wizard, as said before, opp down on one knee, run, jump off opps knee and knee them in the face.

 

Shining Black/SW2 As above but Kick them in the face inset, sort of like a Yakuza Kick.

 

Shining Kakote (sp?)/ SW3 As above, but Axe Kick the opp in the back of the head.

 

Shining Aprentice (Dragness Dragon's) As above, but enziguri the opp (not like Helm's, but jumping off the knee)

 

What Helms does is just and Enziguri to the opp while their getting up.

 

There are other moves, like Shining BlockBuster (Buff's and Helm's flippinf neckbreaker, Shining DDTs, etc)

When I first saw Mutoh do the shining wizard I thought it was cool. I mean it can be done on anyone, any size, and its fairly original. Then he began to overkill the move (using it about 10 times a match), and performing it sloppily.

 

Now it is really getting out of hand with all these different variations.

 

Now I hear that when Mutoh wrestles as Kokushi he uses the "Spark Magic". Which is where he spins around on the spot (?) before doing a shining wizard.

AJ Styles did the DragonRana in NWA Wildside in a match against David Young early this year.

 

During the AAA match on 95-04-21 Rey Misterio Jr vs Juvi, on the Primeria Caida Misterio did a move with Juvi on his shoulders then crossed Juvi arms then fell back into a bridge for the pin. Was this a Straight Jacket Suplex? or Electric Chair? or what?

Razaz, that was the Ocean Cyclone Suplex. Al Snow used to use that and call it the Snowplex.

 

Oh, and Trivia, I've seen Takao Omori do the ROLLING DRAGONS~! to Jun Akiyama, but he held on for the bridge on the last one.

I thought the Snowplex was a Wheel barrow Plex... I saw the match at the Double Tables with chris benoit. He did a Snow Plex, then he did a Japanese Ocean Cyclone.

A Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex is the Cross Armed Bridging Electric chair suplex.

The attacker reaches between the victim's legs and grabs the victim's other arm with their free hand, crossing the victim's arms in front of their body. The attacker lifts the victim up and falls backwards, dropping the victim on their neck/shoulders. This is usually bridged into a pin.

AKA : Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex (Toyota)

Description : The attacker stands behind the victim, they cross the victims arms in front of them (the attacker's left hand holds the victim's right hand and their right hand holds the victim's left). The attacker bends down sticks head between the victim's legs and lifts them up so the victim is sitting their shoulders. The attacker falls backwards and drops the victim on their back. The attacker usually bridges for the pin.
