Well I can't be involved with the discussion because I haven't seen season 5 in full, so I don't have a full opinion on it.

 

However, you really think it is better than seasoon 3??

I'm a big mark for Season Five. Definitely one of my favorites. I don't know if I will ever get around to ranking them though, as I'm not sure I could do that.

Alright, sounds like a plan to me. I'll get it started tomorrow, after I watch some of the episodes again to refresh my memory.

 

On another note, I tried to explain the Angel/Buffy love story to my friends. They were saying how Romeo & Juliet was the greatest love story ever. I disagreed, and said Angel/Buffy was the best.

 

I explained the story, in a shortened version, but they didn't think it was all that great. Of course they said Buffy was a gay show, but this is from someone who wanted to order Tuck Everlasting on PPV. So, yeah, I was disappointed with my friends when they like a show like Buffy. It's a damn good show!!

Oh that sucks...whats up with those of us that missed this discussion...I would have been SO over season 6 since I am sure that Rudo would do Season 5 (on any given day I will say the best but it is neck and neck with 3).

I can't really comment about season 5, I haven't seen it in full. But how can it conquer season 3? I just can't see it.

Glory is cooler than the Mayor? THE MAYOR? He was the best villian I have seen on television, I was actually cheering for him. Usually, I want the bad guy to win, but just out of spite because I hate seeing good win all the time. But I wanted him to win, he was the man.

 

Plus, it's Glory's fault for Dawn coming in. The worst Buffy character ever.

 

However, I can't really have an opinion on this, I haven't seen all of season 5. :yells at self for thinking Buffy was a gay/girly show.:

Ben paralleled Dawn.

 

Ben wasn't supposed to exist, but because of Glory he did - like Dawn. He wanted a normal life - like Dawn. When it was all on the line and he had to choose between himself and the world - he picked himself, however when Dawn had that choice, she was going to jump.

 

You can dispute the acting all you want, that's still smart storytelling.

Ben wasn't a good actor? I thought he was decent from what I saw, no where near as bad as Riley.

I thought Ben was worse then Riley...he came off laughable when he did his whole "I'm going to stop you" deals with Glory

I'll probably do an episode by episode run down w/notable moments and how it affected storyline if at all. At the end I'll give a conclusion listing best episodes and of course, pimping the season.
