I heard that Sunnydale would of been destroyed like it did, but I don't know about the others.

WHAT????? I doubt it was season 4, or maybe it was a promotional box or something.

I just called FYE hoping they had it out too, but they said it's coming out on Tuesday like it was supposed to.

Huh? Yeah I know you were talking about season 4, but I doubt it was season 4.

I just think that she was mistaken, that's all. Isn't it against the law to put something out before the release date?

Maybe she really did see it, I've just had friends who said they saw something out and it turned out to me a promotional box or something else.

Yes, it is....but there are a few places around here that ignore that law and put it out when they get it. Not the big chains though.

Actually I'm not mistaken and it was the box set. I it found odd because I thought it was suppose to come out next week. This place is known for putting out dvd's ahead of time as they had The Ring a week and a half before it was suppose to be released. Some places actually do that when they're not suppose to but they had it under the new releases.

Yeah, they do that to get a jump on other outlets. They really don't advertise it (since the companies probably wouldn't like that), but word travels fast anyway.

Yeah, the original ending for season 5 would have been depressing. This is what I heard:

Instead of sharing a body with Ben, Glory would have been sharing with Xander. Instead of making Tara insane, Glory would have killed her, and Willow would have gone evil. Dark Willow would battle Glory and weaken her enough so that she would turn back into Xander, then Giles would have smothered Xander. Buffy would have then jumped to her death. In the end Willow would have lost her lover, and her two best friends, and Giles would have lost everything.I'm suprised that Season 7 had as "happy" an ending as it had.

Damn, that would of been one of the saddest endings ever. But that is Joss for ya.

Well, I found a place that had season 4 today...but they wanted 54 after taxes, so FUCK THAT. I already pre-ordered it for 38 and I was fully ready to cancel if I found it at a good price.

One question off the record...

In which season happened the 1st Buffy - Spike relationship?

Im not talkin 'bout season 5-7. I hear it was in some kind of Willow's dream/spell, early in the show story.

Thanx.

Wow, I haven't posted in here for a while.

Anyways, I have a question for you guys. Someone told me that, if Buffy was going to end in Season 5, the season finale would have been like this:

Season 5 Spoilers:

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Buffy would have permanently died, Willow would have done her Evil Willow schtik and died, Glory would jump into Xander and Giles would smother him instead of Ben, and Sunnydale would have imploded (a la season 7).

Any of this known to be true? Would it have been better to end the show then in that manner?

I'd like to think that that is to gloomy and gruesome, especially as an ending to a show, but then I saw the seris finale of Farscape.

Plus, I wouldn't have put it past Joss, but personally I think he threw that out there to keep fans guessing.

Willow did a spell to have her will be done, but it didn't work like it should have (suprise). Willow said that since Buffy was spending so much time with Spike, that she should marry him.

So for the rest of the ep untill the spell was broken, they were making wedding plans. Funny stuff, sicne they absolutely loathed each other at this point.

Yeah, but you gotta remember, that wasn't supposed to be the series finale, and the supposedly only got told they weren't getting picked up on the final day of shooting, so they couldn't film a different ending for the series.

Lucky bastard. When I was in Ireland, I noticed that cost more money, is that true?

Missed this post from a few days ago.

Yeah, they aren't exactly on the cheap side of things. I'm fine with buying them though, as it has taken so long for them to come out over here.

Funny thing is, I'm not really a fan of the show, I just watched the finale because they said it would piss people off. Oddly enough, I watch the odd episode now, because I like Crichton. (sp?)

And thanks Dawn, I forgot the title. Can't wait to get season 4 now, if my work ever gives me my money.

Both.

I got my season 7 on DVD today, and the quality is pretty decent. Not DVD quality, but better than a VCR. I'd give it a 7.5, if any of you want to get it.

I have a slightly on slightly off topic question:

How do you know if you can play VCDs?

Both.

Oh, ok then. The basic plotline of Farscape would be John Crichton attempting to get back to Earth after accidentally getting shot into a wormhole. But the real driving force behind the show was the John/Aeryn love story. I'm trying to do a general basis here, so it doesn't give too much away for those who haven't seen it. Best Sci-Fi show in years. They really need to quit doing those lame ass releases where they put a few episodes out on DVD at a time and go full season.

Well, they have finally put Season 1 out on DVD....for $127 on Amazon. Fuck that, it's Kazaa time. Plus the show didn't really start to shine until Season 2 anyways.

And for the finale:

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

John proposes to Aeryn. Aeryn accepts. They get killed seconds later.
