Guest Mole Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I just watched "Lessons" and I noticed a big mistake. When the First morphed into Dru, she touched Spike on the face. The First can't touch things, and they even say that a few episodes later. Maybe they didn't think of that part yet about the First, but it's still a mistake! Guest Mole Report post Posted June 6, 2003 bump for my post
Guest fazzle Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah, it touched Angel too way back when in Amends. And, if you want to get more nitpicky...how does it even appear without falling through the floor it's "standing" on?
Guest Ripper Report post Posted June 6, 2003 If its non-coporial then the laws of gravity doesn't exist to it. And maybe it just came close to touching Spike. It did the same thing when Dru was gettin gher tourture on later in the season.
Guest fazzle Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Then why didn't it ever do any cool floating? It just walked on the ground. Laaaaaaaaame
Guest Ripper Report post Posted June 6, 2003 It would be a hell of alot easier to write it off as some weird floaty thing than being the person it appeared to be. It spooked alot of people because they identified with what ever it was appearing as. ANd who says floating looks cooler than a kickass swagger. Swaggers>floating
Guest fazzle Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah, but doesn't that seem like an awful wate of energy for the first, to just "stand" there. And who says it wouldn't get lazy and kinda accidentally be positioned where it would have a foot through the floor? Yeah, yeah, I know, this is one of those things that basically boils down to "It's a frickin TV show" Anyways, floating > swaggering. But then again, doing ANYTHING AT ALL > floating and swaggering combined. Too bad that never happened.
Guest Mole Report post Posted June 6, 2003 No, I am pretty sure Dru touched Spike. I know it touched Angel in season 3, but this is the season that the First was the Big Bad. I would think they knew that kind of stuff by the first episode, but whatever.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 6, 2003 The Replacement is a good ep. It's also the only one where I don't hate Riley.
Guest Mole Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Nah, Riley was funny in "Hush" as the cowboy.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Riley was funny in Hush when he broke the wrong thing on the table and yet looked so proud of himself.
Guest DawnBTVS Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah, loved the double Xanders in "The Replacement".

Guest Mole Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Snoopy Dance?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Where Loser Xander is trying to prove to Willow that he's the "real" him. He does the Snoopy dance--the thing Snoopy would always do on peanuts cartoons, kinda jog in place and look up at the sky--and she is convinced. I really like that ep. It's weird..."The Replacement" is really the last episode the show had that you could call a Xander-focused episode, whereas Spike, Willow, and even Anya had more or less "solo" episodes after that. Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Nah, Riley was funny in "Hush" as the cowboy. He wasn't a cowboy in "Hush", he was a cowboy in the season finale, whose name I can't think of all of a sudden- the one witht eh First slayer in the dreams. And yes Riley was funny as a cowboy, as was Harmony unsuccessfully trying to bite Giles.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I have a sudden urge to sit down and watch Season 6 start to finish. Damn you, staggered DVD releases.

Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Hey Mole, that pic of Spike in your banner looks like Kiefer Sutherland in "The Lost Boys." I just had to say that
Guest Mole Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I see it a little bit. That pic is from "Hush" when Spike drinks the blood from the mug. In the full pic you can actually see the mug, but I cut it out.
Guest Mole Report post Posted June 9, 2003 Question: what episode was it that showed Spike getting turned into a vampire? Nevermind, it's "Fool for Love" it took me some time to figure out.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 10, 2003 Freakish Buffy sighting! Flipping through the channels just now, I came across Bye Bye Love (Paul Reiser flick from the mid-90's), and was surprised to see none other than Amber Benson! Then the camera angle changes...and she's talking to Eliza Dushku! A bizarre coincedence, to say the least.

Guest Cavi Report post Posted June 10, 2003 Random note: My sister met James Marsters, Tony Head, and James Leary (Clem) this past weekend at the Moonlight Rising Buffy convention. She said that they were all cool, especially Leary.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 10, 2003 A few friends of mine went as well, Cavi. They're all squeals and peals of how great it was. Hopefully I'll copies of the pictures sometime soon.
