Guest EricMM Report post Posted October 22, 2002 I PRACTICALLY live in DC. The DC/Metropolitan area. College Park MD if you weeeel. I'm on the green line, nuff said.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Sorry bubbles, but BLACK MANTA~! and it's ESTABLISHED~! riders and ESTABLISHED~! driver listening to all kinds of ESTABLISHED~! music while claiming I-95 for the ESTABLISHMENT~! makes us MUCH more established than you could ever hope to be. Oh yeah? ::uses MOD POWERS~! and bans Black Manta from the highway:: Take THAT.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 (BLACK MANTA~! no-sells the MOD POWERS~!) Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Here's my take: I'm going to be in the BLACK MANTA~! Not only am I Kinetic--one of the most established posters on the board--but I'm also Metal Ed, beloved gimmick poster and keeper of the Rock Box. Temper that with the equally established presence of Kotz and Incandenza and it's almost too much for one vehicle to contain. If we're judging by "most pictures of one person posted to the board" or mastery of SPOT THE CLASSIC~! then, sure, I concede defeat. But if we're going by level of establishment alone, then you three are simply outmatched.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Too bad Kinetic won't be there for the Establishment's overtaking of South of the Border in Dillon, South Carolina. Surely, being in the presence of the powers of the Establishment combined with that wonderfully awful tourist trap would be akin to religious ecstasy.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Spot the Classic? I missed that one.... Doesn't make me any less ESTABLISHED~!, but I did miss it. And worry not, good citizens, BLACK MANTA~! can contain all of that establishment in one car, and is the only one that can. No massive rip in the fabric of space and time. It's kinda like that music box that held Tapion and Hildegarn in to keep Hildegarn from destroying the universe, for you fellow DBZ marks out there. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 22, 2002 I'm highly upset about missing South of the Border. I've been there before (the billboards that start 500 miles in advance piqued my interest) but never as part of an Established party. If one of you could get me some taffy while you're there, that'd make up for it. Spot The Classic is a semi-regular feature of Tom's news reports on the site. He'll insert a line from some piece of literature in the report--generally in the headlines, if I'm not mistaken--and then give big ups to whoever e-mails him with the name of the source. It's a good feature and I have a good joke for it filed away in my mind. Should I ever see fit to write something again, it'll be in there.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted October 22, 2002 The problem is, my attempt to bring culture to millions of wrestling fans and loyal readers every week fell on mostly deaf ears. I don't do Spot The Classic regularly anymore, since there were a few weeks that only Will emailed me with a guess. I still insert a literary line here and there, though, and if someone can spot it and email me, so much the better.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 I didn't start reading EVERYTHING on the site until I was hired, and I've noticed literary references, but I didn't know I was supposed to E-mail you with the source. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest DrTom Report post Posted October 22, 2002 By the way, the Mighty MAXIMA~! can hold five adults, be they global mods, admins, fabulous sports babes, or established posters. So it's clear that my car can hold even more establishment than is allowed by interstellar law.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 CAN hold, but will not hold. And it lacks the ESTABLISHED~! convertible option. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Yeah well... It'll probably be me and the DevilMod himself Jingus, and thats one damn Sarcastic car coming up. He may not be Established, but damn he will own you verbally fo sheez. Additionally, those of us coming farther south might want to meet up with yall at South of the Border , but I don't exactly know where that is on 95 in relation to
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 I think Incandenza and I are the southernmost people coming. South of the Border is inaccessible by I-85. It's a ways inland from Myrtle Beach and right on the interstate, so you'd have to go to Columbia and then find some way from Columbia to I-95. Hmm... SARCASM V. ESTABLISHMENT~! Who wins, I wonder? Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Tom gets to see me again in a couple of hours. Bow down before him and bask in his reflected glory, for today he is once more blessed above all mortals.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 22, 2002 How about I don't and say I did? (the only God complex I'll feed is my OWN, DAMMIT!) Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted October 23, 2002 thats where youre wrong Kotz. Its Sarcasm + Establishment vs. Establishment assuming vs. is an equal sign and that your establishment is slightly higher than mine *which is true* we are left with Sarcasm vs. "Left-over EstablishMent" It's either a tie, or Jingus mauls you... I'd say tie
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Three ESTABLISHED~! ones + BLACK MANTA~! + PEDRO, THE ESTABLISHED CHERUBIC MEXICAN STEREOTYPE~! > Everything EVER. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted October 23, 2002 vs. one big ass tough guy who appears on NWA sometimes and is a wrestler, and a 11 year veteran of the martial arts. and our wit is sooo more tongue in cheek than a lesbian orgy... Bring it Kotz
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Let's see the martial arts guy and the wrestler stop 2 tons of steel. BLACK MANTA~! is so established, it's known as an intercontinental offensive weapon by the United Nations. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge

Bow down before him and bask in his reflected glory, for today he is once more blessed above all mortals. Aww come on, if there's a Smart Marks Gathering in DC, all the Smart Marks in DC should come. What, don't wanna come chill with the Pleebs? While you all are discussing cars and stuff, imagine if you all meet in one place. Wouldn't that be the most ESTABLISHED~! location in the Mid-Atlantic region?
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Try most ESTABLISHED~! in the Universe. Can we stay at your place? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Okay, the veal marsala sucked, in hindsight, but I didn't notice it at the time because we were drinking and talking too much. The calamari Tom ordered was a bit too dry but after some lemon and pepper it was fine. The mozzarella sticks kicked ass, though. And Tom's kittens seem to have tripled in size since the last time I saw them. Mewing little white furballs transmuted into lanky stripy-orange critters with an unhealthy attraction to my legs within a few short months. I mean, I was flattered, but sheesh.
