Whiskeytown - Excuse Me While I Break My Own Heart Tonight

Whiskeytown - I Hope It Rains at My Funeral

Whiskeytown - Reasons to Lie

The White Stripes - One More Cup of Coffee (BOB FREAKIN' DYLAN COVER)

Nine Inch Nails - Something I Could Never Have

"Tool" - Terrible Lie (It doesn't sound like Tool, but it claims to be Maynard, and it's depressing)

System of a Down - Dammit (Blink 182 Cover - actually very, very good)

Ryan Adams - When the Stars Go Blue

Ryan Adams - Goodnight Hollywood Boulevard

Ryan Adams - Wonderwall (Oasis Cover)

Ryan Adams - Oh Carolina

Fiction Plane - Fallow

Fiction Plane - Everything Will Never Be Okay

That's all I can think of right now.....

It's been said a million times but..

'Welcome Home' and 'Fade To Black' by the Metallica boys is a one way ticket to mood-change land.

Enjoy and keep away from sharp objects.

funny thing is, those two songs always hype me up.... eh it must be the guitarist in me...

Anything by Pink Floyd puts in a mood to slash my wrists, thats for sure.... Comfortably Numb tops that list.

Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Philadelphia

What a downer of a song!

Wendy Matthews - The Day You Went Away

I'm not sure if that was released in the US or not, but it is a really sad song. I definitely want it for my funeral.

'Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are' - Meatloaf.

Very personal, tragic song. Beautifully performed and crafted.

Black Sabbath - "Planet Caravan"

Gary Jules - "Mad World"

Radiohead - Exit Song For A Movie

Kate Bush - This Woman's Work (Maxwell cover is pretty good. Speaking of which, why don't more people talk about Maxwell on the board? Meh.)

I really don't need to say much. Just download the songs and you'll understand exactly what I mean.

Nine Inch Nails - "Something I Can Never Have"

The overdose song from Trainspotting..I have the song, but it has the wrong title. I think it's Lou Reed, though.

beatles - 'eleanor rigby', 'for no one'

ween - 'she wanted to leave'

this mortal coil - almost anything from it'll end in tears, but 'another day' in particular

'satisfied mind' by jeff buckley always makes me sad, knowing that's the song that was played at his funeral

sarah mclachlan - 'hold on'

pearl jam - 'elderly woman behind the counter in a small town', 'nothingman'

That would be Perfect Day by Lou Reed.

Just about anything Anathema or the Suicidal Tendencies have ever done.

Oh, and the saddest of them all...

Anthrax - "NFB (Dallabnekufesin)"

"Joey, Joey, get me some tissue..."

And for the record, this is my Six-Hundred and Sixty-Sixth post, so this HAS to be said...

HAIL SATAN~!

Mortiis = Everyone Leaves.

The chorus is:

Everyone leaves in the end.

Everything dies in the end.

It doesn't matter how hard you hold on.

Everyone leaves in the end/

It's sung really soft and it's very easy on the ear. It's got a gentle haunting melody playing in the background

Brick is a depressing song, it's about abortion after all.

"Missing The War" puts me down for some reason, good song though.
