That episode resulted in a WrestleCrap induction. I remember watching that episode not knowing all of the wrestlers were going to be on it (Weren't Hogan and Savage there too helping the bodyguards somehow) and being mightily confused.

Yeah, Hogan was on, and I believe Randy Savage as well. I think the storyline was that Flair and the other baddies were going to buy the beach and turn it into a development, and Hogan and the lifeguards ended up stopping that and saving the day, or some such nonsense.

Im not sure if this has been brought up before, but was it ever revealed in WCW who DDP's mysterious benefactor was, or is that one of those eternal mysteries like who drove the Hummer, who moved the briefcase at KOTR 99 and who blew up McMahons limo?

It was supposed to be Goldust, when it was known as GDTV, then he was released.

 

Russo later said that he was trying to convince McMahon to get Tom Greene to be behind the angle, but McMahon had no clue who he was.

It was also rumored to possibly be Gangrel or Godfather behind it, I think. They never did reveal who it was. Actually, I remember it disappeared for a while, then came back, then was promptly dropped again.

Not so much a question but does anybody else remember WCW's ripoff of GTV, The KidCam? Did anything ever happen with that storyline? It seemed like it was just Kidman catching people look dumb on camera. I think he was the one who got Janitor Jim Duggan eating Lex Luger's laxative brownies meant for Sting. *sigh* Why do I remember this?

Okay, reading Death Of WCW finally... where the hell was the angle with Bagwell 'shooting' on people supposed to be leading or supposed to accomplish. I know the obvious answer (nothing), but I'll ask anyway. Apparantly he threw a match against La Parka and then he beat Scotty Riggs with a 'not in the script' small package after they were seen talking over their finish in the back.

I don't know where the Bagwell shoots angle was going but I think it somehow led to a "Loser Leaves Town" match with Curt Hennig where Bagwell won and Curt Hennig wrestled again the next night.

the match was at unforgiven 2003, so the answer is late Sept 2003, I think it lasted all of 2 weeks.
