Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I think WWE should put the "World" back in its name and hold more shows around the globe. I would love to see them go to France just for the big La Resistance pop and the Steiner booing. hey, if u wanna see Steiner booed just go to New England
Guest BifEverchad Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I thought I heard something about the ACC in Toronto getting Summerslam this year. Or maybe its NEXT year. Hmm, regardless.....I'm sure it was just a rumor. Bif
Guest ViciousFish Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Alberta and Saskatchewan should get something. We had a Raw and Smackdown last year and the year before that in Edmonton and thats it except for a few house shows. I want a fucking PPV here. Vancouver got Rock Bottom and some WCW show. I want a PPV in Edmonton, preferably one where Benoit wins the title I should quit dreaming
LooseCannon25 Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Shit....when was the last time they had a PPv in NJ?
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Shit....when was the last time they had a PPv in NJ? i cant remember the last PPV at the meddowlands, theyve been concentrating their tristate PPVs in Nassau and MSG

In 2003, they scheduled themselves for South Korea, South Africa, England, Scotland, Ireland, Thailand, Japan, and Australia. I'd say that's worldwide.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Choken, the reason they always come to Boston is that New York and Boston have always been the "home cities" of WWE/WWF/WWWF.
Guest Choken One Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Oh I know that well and good... But C'MON CINCY is home of OVW! What claim does Dallas have for WWE to get PPV after PPV?
Guest ViciousFish Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yeah well fuck Cincinatti and fuck Dallas! Give western Canada some love. We've gifted the WWE with Jericho, Benoit, the Harts, and Lance Storm and Vince still never gives us shit. Last time they were here we had Benoit return followed by Benoit turning heel and attacking Austin
Guest Choken One Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yeah but ya Got Austin/Flair... We got Souled Out 2000... I would call that a toss-up...
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 What claim does Dallas have for WWE to get PPV after PPV? The first (and most recent) PPV in Dallas was Fully Loaded 2000.
Garth Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 What IS the time difference from UK-to-US, by the way? Something like 6 hours, right? If we're talkin East Coast its a 5 hour time difference.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 QUOTE (Choken One @ Jun 3 2003, 09:52 PM) What claim does Dallas have for WWE to get PPV after PPV? The first (and most recent) PPV in Dallas was Fully Loaded 2000. What a crowd that was. Still, they had a reason to be happy.
Slickster Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Aug. 24, 2003: SummerSlam (both brands) America West Arena, Phoenix, AZ Sept. 21, 2003: Unforgiven (RAW) Giant Center, Hershey, PA October 19, 2003: No Mercy (SmackDown!) 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland November 16, 2003: Survivor Series (both brands) American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas December 14, 2003; Armageddon (RAW) TD Waterhouse Centre, Orlando, Florida March 14, 2004; WrestleMania XX (both brands) Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
Guest Choken One Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Isn't Rumble hitting Edmonton and Toronto getting Slam?
Slickster Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Vince said something to the effect of 'We'll be back" at a recent Calgary house show, but nothing is finalized yet.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 October 19, 2003: No Mercy (SmackDown!) 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland Hmm. A PPV in Baltimore! Yay!
Guest Choken One Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Something that IRKS me Why hasn't Chicago gotten a Rumble? Maybe it's me but Chi Town always seemed like the ideal Rumble Location... *sigh* Will cincy ever have a wwe ppv? Fuck, even Dayton had one...
Slickster Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 October 19, 2003: No Mercy (SmackDown!) 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland Hmm. A PPV in Baltimore! Yay! The first since WCW GAB '00.
The Czech Republic Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Something that IRKS me Why hasn't Chicago gotten a Rumble? Maybe it's me but Chi Town always seemed like the ideal Rumble Location... *sigh* Will cincy ever have a wwe ppv? Fuck, even Dayton had one... Yeah I know...Chi-Town Rumble and all. I want to know why all the WWE shows are in Rosemont and not downtown at the United Center. I know WCW had exclusivity there for a while but for a big thing like the Rumble, they can get like 23,000 at the UC if they try. But then again I like being in the nicer neighborhood for the show, no little ghetto kids coming up to me asking for $20 to be my security and stuff.
Lil' Bitch Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 I miss WWE PPVs being held in Las Vegas. Fondly remembers Wrestlemania 9 and No Way Out 2001.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 October 19, 2003: No Mercy (SmackDown!) 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland Hmm. A PPV in Baltimore! Yay! The first since WCW GAB '00. Yeah, and I actually have a shot at going. Im close driving wise to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Norfolk, and Richmond (a stretch..) but they rarely do PPVs from any of those cities. I was actually thinking about trying to get up to Hershey Park for Unforgiven (and do the park on a slow weekend in Sept!) but Baltimore is much closer. Sucks that the Ravens are in Cincy that weekend..
The Czech Republic Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 I miss WWE PPVs being held in Las Vegas. Fondly remembers Wrestlemania 9 and No Way Out 2001. All you guys have is the Thomas & Mack Center, that's why
Slickster Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 October 19, 2003: No Mercy (SmackDown!) 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland November 16, 2003: Survivor Series (both brands) American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas December 14, 2003; Armageddon (RAW) TD Waterhouse Centre, Orlando, Florida January 25, 2004: WWE Royal Rumble (both brands) Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA February 15, 2004: WWE No Way Out (SmackDown!) Location TBD March 14, 2004; WrestleMania XX (both brands) Madison Square Garden, New York, New York April 25, 2004: WWE Backlash (RAW) Location TBD May 23, 2004: WWE Judgment Day (SmackDown!) Location TBD (Fun fact: several news sites said the Tokyo Dome was at first considered for the site of the Royal Rumble.)
Lil' Bitch Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 All you guys have is the Thomas & Mack Center, that's why Its not a bad venue, but WWE would be better off holding PPVs in the MGM Grand (where Halloween Havoc was held).
ChrisMWaters Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 January 25, 2004: WWE Royal Rumble (both brands) Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA ...OK...WrestleMania as of right now will NOT be my first PPV I'm Going to. ROYAL RUMBLE! IN PHILLY! YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS! I'll be like the rumble winner, going to the Rumble AND WrestleMania!
Guest Choken One Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 so much for Edmonton getting it but yeah Phily and the rumble? Ownage.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 so much for Edmonton getting it but yeah Phily and the rumble? Ownage. Yes, definate ownage. If only this past Rumble was in Philly...Dreamer would have gotten a better ECW Chant when he came out. Ah well.
Slickster Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 (edited) Another unusual WWE event listing: Here Also, I can't get confirmation on the Philadelphia Rumble yet from the Wachovia box office. I'm not sure if that means anything, though. Edited October 11, 2003 by The Hollywood Fashion Plate
