Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Aren't Echmo and Rikishi related? Yup, they're related, and I think all the WWE's Samoans are related in some way, either blood or marriage. Just to be narky, its actually Ekmo Thats what they were called in the HWA , O.G. Ekmo, and Kimo whicheverever one Kimo was, his finisher was called Kimo-therapy, which you gotta admit, is boss
Guest Coffey Report post Posted June 14, 2003 I liked Jamaal a lot better than I liked Rosie. Jamaal had a good top rope splash, and he even did a kip-up on SNH. I liked him...
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Jamaal did a moonsault. Jamaal>Rosie
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Jamal got arrested for getting into a fight at a bar or nightclub as someone was hitting on his girlfriend/wife or something. That's what I heard
Guest Downhome Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Thank God they had Rico split from them before this happened. I could care less about them, but I will say that I don't think that 3MW was ever really given a true chance in many ways. Blah, I wont even miss them or realize they aren't around. Guest Steviekick Report post Posted June 14, 2003 I say repackage Rikishi with the remaining 3MWer. It's not their fault that they were booked shitty. Come on, Rico was their manager. No offense to Rico, but it just didn't work at all.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 14, 2003 The blame should be put on the bookers for putting the workers in such precarious conditions - protecting a worker or not, the duo is a legit 800+ pounds, and considering they were ordered to do running splashes in the corner and flying bodypresses, I can't say I'm surprised that the UPW girls, as well as Pat Patterson, were hurt. They hurt the girl with a KICK.
Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Rosie did a moonsault too at Unforgiven. They should just cut their losses and dump him, or send him to OVW and have him TRY to drop the weight like Big Show TRIED too.

Jamal is the one with the dreadlocks...and who looks more like Rikishi. Rosey's the one I think looks like a Samoan A-Train.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Or broke a rib of a girl who isn't even in the company hey now, that was the coolest thing they ever did.
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted June 14, 2003 They should've brought Rikishi in with them from the start. Oh well, no big loss. They'll just bring in a couple more samoans who are related to the 'Kish.
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Not for nothing but, how can you guys not be able to tell these guys apart......one of them is at least 50-60 pounds heavier than the other, and one has braided hair while the other doesnt. Anyway, the blame can't be completely put on them....after some good segments to start them off on RAW they get paired with a fuckin gay hairstylest.....thats some stupid shit right there. That's like pairing up a thug like John Cena with Rico, in that it makes no damn sense. Then the fact that they got squashed every week on TV. Did they injure people? hell yeah? But look who they threw out at them...Jimmy Snuka, Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah, Pat PAtterson, a couple of lesbians not even with the company. Cmon, why not have them jump some active wrestlers to give them some credibility. They werent great by any means, but they also were never given a serious chance either. Anybody that would be booked the way they were would look like total shit too.....ANYBODY! With that being said.....im not gonna miss them, but im surprised that Jamal is the one that was released as i thought he was the more talented and moved much better in the ring than Rosie. Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted June 14, 2003 People not blaming 3 Minute Warning for sucking is just so fucking marvelous. The blame cannot solely be placed on the bookers, if the wrestler is good then the fans will take to them. 3 Minute Warning got shoved down the fans throats for the first two or so months after their debut and the fans knew they sucked. Jericho has been buried 15x over and the fans still take to him. It's called talent. Some have it (Jericho) and some don't (3 Minute Warning)

All they did was run in on old has beens, old ladies, lesbians, and a gay wedding.....how can they have the fans take to them when they were given shit to work with from the beginning. What are they supposed to do?

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted June 14, 2003 This kind of upsets me (if it's true)....I liked 3MW, minus Rico. In fact, I think I once went into a long-winded tangent on here about how stupid it was for them to be paired with Rico. If someone had booked 3MW correctly, they could have been a very effective heel tag team. I don't not blame them for being subpar workers and for being out of shape (Rosey, at least). That is their own fault. I do blame WWE and their bookers for... 1) bringing them up to the big leagues too early 2) putting a pair of green behemoths in the ring with senior citizens, midgets and 95-pound women, then acting surprised when someone got hurt 3) not capitalizing on the decent amount of heel heat they were garnering at first. 3MW started to lose their momentum after the Billy/Chuck mini-feud, when everyone -- including the bookers -- forgot about them. I'm assuming Jamal must have done something to get himself in trouble, because firing him for being a bad worker instead of just sending him (and Rosey) down to OVW is stupid. Jericho has been buried 15x over and the fans still take to him. It's called talent. Some have it (Jericho) and some don't (3 Minute Warning) The fans did take to them in the beginning - did you hear the reaction they got at the Chuckabilly wedding? How about after each time Bischoff used them as enforcers in the summer of 2002? Their first match was almost two months into their debut - YES, they did suck goats in the ring, but that doesn't change the fact they were over, despite being given the boss' daughter and the boss' right-hand man, while being told to "protect them, or there will be reprecussions". And to say that the writers had nothing to work with - well, Hunter Hearst Helmsley was a pile of steaming, stinking crap in 1997, yet they took the time to groom him and shove him down our throats, whether we liked it or not. That method has been used FOREVER - yet all that 3MW received was a de-push and several Heat matches, while being fed to Goldberg in 3 on 1 situations. I'm assuming Jamal must have done something to get himself in trouble, because firing him for being a bad worker instead of just sending him (and Rosey) down to OVW is stupid. Bingo. Adam 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 Yeah, but HHH had in-ring talent. 3 Minute Noodles weren't that good, they had really bad matches, the only thing they could do was squashes, which I hate. Good rittance.

Murmuring Beast 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2003 They probably couldn't tell the difference. At the end of the last conference... Vince : ... and that's why we need more lesbians. Any questions? JR: Can't we just fire one of those two minute warning guys. I can't tell the difference and besides, there in a minority. Minority = bad, Vince. Vince: He's right, get rid of the fat, black, Asian Bastard. Um, Jamal is it? Kevin, just check the back of his jersey and tell him he's fired. Oh, and I'm shagging his wife too. Guest buffybeast Report post Posted June 14, 2003 I'm truly upset by this news. I had a big crush on Jamal and thought he moved pretty well for a man his size. I thought something may have been up when Rosie wrestled on SNH by himself several weeks ago. Jamal must have done something pretty damn stupid to get fired. I will miss him.
