Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 PS2-I FINALLY got back Hot Shots Golf 3 from my friend, so I'm hitting the greens and dominating, as always...it rules when one of the guys is a former e-fed persona...T-Bone. Also a little bit of Wild Arms 3. The best $30 game I've ever bought. It's fuckin sweet. GC-It's SSX Tricky, which I bought for $15. I love this game. Trying to master a lot of it still, though... GBA-Super Mario World, Fire Pro 2... PS1-Power Move Pro Wrestling (oh man...FOUR DOLLARS!!! Couldn't pass that up...) N64-No Mercy...Best. WWE Game. Ever.

Pussy CPU never throws strikes and I wind up swinging at everything he throws at me...which happen to be obvious-after-the-fact- balls. Fucking game. I love it.

I spend most of the time cursing Retro for making this a first person game when I can't see where the hell i am jumping from and miss judge jumps and have to start climbing up a impossibly large cliff again. It is a game that runs the gamut from incredibly cool to goddamned annoying.

It is a game that runs the gamut from incredibly cool to goddamned annoying. Sadly, the flaws of Prime didn't be spoken about until AFTER everybody craved about it. Then when the craving was subsided, the flaws showed. Edit: Currently working new EWR scenario. Not to give for everyone, but playing one.

I went bonzo gonzo on the Brewers and beat them around 26-7. Alright, so I was an All Star team, but I got this game recently, so I was trying to figure out what was different from that and MVP Baseball 2003, which was the previous one that I played from a friend. Tonight it should be some NFL 2k3 and Reign of Fire, because I bought those games last week and haven't even taken them out of the plastic yet.
Guest Flyboy Posted June 19, 2003 Report Posted June 19, 2003 I just played a DOGFIGHT between the 76ers (me) against the Lakers. By the 2nd quarter, Iverson had 47 points. During the 3rd quarter, they double team AI but I still manage to hold on to the lead (thanks to Eric Snow and Coleman). The 4th quarter was all Kobe (ugh) and he flamed me for everything I had. About 2 minutes left in the game, I put AI on Kobe ran a man defensive and won by 10 points. AI had a high of 65 points.

Either you can make the jump or can't and it's pretty easy to tell which case is which. That being said, I really need to finish that game...just need 2 more artifacts. Damn those two Castlevanias for GBA soaking up my game time.

Either you can make the jump or can't and it's pretty easy to tell which case is which. That being said, I really need to finish that game...just need 2 more artifacts. Well, I am at my first time playing it and 10 hours in with 80 percent scanned and 2 more atifacts to find...I think I'm pretty good at it. But the fact remains that you have a game like metroid that is so timing sensitive but takes away the ability to see where you are jumping from. PLUS the X-ray and Thermal Visors were horribly executed IMO...and all this and I still say it is a great game. Just be prepared to curse at it.
