Cheex Incarnate Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Whenever the WWE reinstated the IC title, i dont know about you but I always considered it an entity outside of the original, which is now part of the World Title. That said, I would venture to say that the "World Title" is also a WWE only title, and should not include WCW's past. WCW's World title history is not part of the SmackDown version of the world title, while RAW's world title has the Intercontinental title's lineage (which has Hardcore, European, and WCW US). SmackDown's new US title should also not be considered a continuation of WCW's past. The original US title is part of RAW's World title. The only title that has anything to do with WCW's old history is the cruiserweight title. Now that i've thoroughly confused you all to get something off my chest, i bid you good day. -Cheex

It would be set up correctly if the U.S. and WWE Tag Team Champs were on Raw, and the I.C. and World Tag Titles on Smackdown.

It would be set up correctly if the U.S. and WWE Tag Team Champs were on Raw, and the I.C. and World Tag Titles on Smackdown. If they just did the split right we wouldn't be in this mess!

After Hall dumped it in the trash and 14 months later it was still laying there (talk about slow Janitors)... Duggan whom was an Janitor at the time picke d it up and claimed it and wrestled on Saturaday Nights against old timers like Morton and Eaton and young up n comers and actually was going well with it... I'm not sure if Storm stole the title back at some point during the Duggan Tratior angle... Which was fucking brilliant in hindsight...

I can't remember too well, but I know they feuded over it on WCWSN. In his interview in Legends of Wrestling 2 (damn, that game sucked) Duggan said he was the only undefeated TV champ ever... ok, mayber not, but, he did say he never lost it.
