NFL Pick 'em contests announcement...

For those of you that partcipated in Bravesfan's NFL pick 'em contest last year, listen up. I am going to start up a pick 'em league as well, but this will be a bit different from Braves'.

 

There will only be 32 people involved, and each one of us picks a team. Each week you will make your picks, and your score will be up against the person who your team is playing against.

 

For example: Player A picks the Steelers, Player B picks the Ravens. Both teams face off in Week 1, so Player A and B are facing off with their picks for that week. Player A picked 9 right and Player B picked 8 right. Player A wins and has a record of 1-0.

 

The rules will be just like the NFL -- Only division winners and two wild card teams will get to make the post-season, etc.

 

In addition, each week not only will you submit your picks via the "one-and-only-pick-'em" thread, but also, as a tie-breaker, predict how many points your team will score that week. Bravesfan will be doing his contest as well, so if you're participating in both contests just submit your picks on his thread and I'll use them, too. Just don't forget to add how many points you think your team will score that week.

 

You might be thinking that this may be a little early to talk about football, but I would like to know who claims what team now so I can create scorecards/schedules so that when I start the actual scoring it will be easy to do.

 

So if you're interested, say which team you want to go with for this season. First come first serve.
