Guest JMA Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I know, I know, his heel work is awesome. But Raw really needs a main event face. Kane has seemingly turned heel and will be feuding feuding with RVD. That takes them out of the picture. Nash has been beaten twice and is too lazy. Booker has been beaten by Trips and Christian (the IC champ). And Goldberg? Please, the guy gets booed when facing top heels. Not to mention the fact that Trips won't job to Goldberg. The only choice is Jericho. I think they should do a double turn with Jericho and Goldberg. Or just keep them apart and turn Jericho face. Either way. I say turn him face and have him win the belt off Trips.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I think HHH will job to Goldberg before he jobs to Jericho
Guest JMA Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I think HHH will job to Goldberg before he jobs to Jericho I think it's the other way around.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I'd rather have Jericho than Goldberg, but let's face it, if Trips was willing to lay down for Jericho, he would have done it by now. Plus, Goldberg is the one they're trying to shove down our throats, not Jericho.
Garth Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I've been thiniking exactly that, that theres nobody left to challenge HHH now, the only options are Goldberg or turn Jericho face. Realistically we know there gonna have Goldberg face HHH, but i think the time is about right for Jericho to turn face, have him turn on Christian on the Highlight Reel or something along the lines of that. In an ideal world Jericho would be "traded" over to Smackdown.
Guest croweater Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I like Jericho as much as a face as I do a heel. Now is the best time to turn him as RAW has NO main event quality faces and a turn will obviously put him into the main event picture because of this. I'm all for it.
Garth Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I'm all for him turning face, but he will then promptly be squashed by HHH which can't be a good way to start off the turn.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I think HHH would rather job to Goldberg than Jericho. Goldberg has no staying power and won't be around long. Jericho can get over fine by himself, hence he's a threat to HHH's position. I suspect that HHH is carefully playing his cards, trying to get Goldie to end up as Steiner Part III.
Guest Random Hero Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 In an ideal world Jericho would be "traded" over to Smackdown. But I thought the point of turning him face was because Raw needed a credible face. Anyway, I have no problem with Jericho turning, as long as he gets a proper shot. I prefer him as a heel and he is a damn sight more entertaining that way, and I don't want to see that sacrificed just so he can be HHH's bitch for a month before being demoted into midcard obscurity, spouting tired unfunny catch phrases.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I agree. Being the 2nd top heel on RAW is getting him nowhere so he might as well turn face and become the World Heavyweight Champion again. He hasn't had a title shot in a LONG time. The chants he was getting at Bad Blood reminded me of his babyface days. *smiles and fondly remembers Jericho making jokes about Steph...
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I've been saying this about the HHH jobbing to Jericho for the title scenario since about May. Jericho is the only one left that would be credible enough that HHH hasn't totally squashed on Raw....in a while at least.
ANKLELOCK Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I thought they were bringing Foley back to face HHH at Summerslam.
Guest drunkenscarredangel Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 I can see the reasoning behind wanting to turn Jericho face...but honestly, I can't take any more Jericho squashing by HHH. Maybe I should be more optimistic, but right now the idea of Jericho beating HHH (which I know he's done, once...and that whole title thing in 2000) just seems completely out of the realm of possibility.
Guest Choken One Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 HHH would rather Job to Jericho then Goldberg because his ego won't get crushed by doing that...He knows he can still control Jericho... Anyways...Turn Him face although his heel work has been excellent. This would mean X is now the #2 Heel not counting Semi-Active Flair and injury prone Orton. Whoa.
Guest MrRant Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 Eh... watch HHH jump to Smackdown after losing the belt and put the beat down on the one legged wonder for his relationship with Steph and then the two reunite in the face of Vince and hilarity will ensue.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 *Remembers Jericho saying "assclown", "jerky", "junior", "jackass", "eeeeeever", "Would you please....SHUT, the hell, UP?!" every week* Ugh, I don't know about Jericho turning face. I'd prefer him to stay heel considering he got stale the last time he was a face in WWE. Besides, I think HHH is jumping to Smackdown in two months for an on-air wedding with Steph anyway.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 Jericho is worthless either way. I mean, right now he is just putting over faces who will fight Hunter sometime down the road. As a face he'll be putting over the heels who will put over the faces who will fight Hunter sometime down the road. So really, a heel is a better place to be... *thinks* Wait, no one puts him over now to build him up as a heel anyways...
Lil' Bitch Posted June 29, 2003 Report Posted June 29, 2003 From Jericho-holics to Jackasses, its amazing how times change... Besides, I think HHH is jumping to Smackdown in two months for an on-air wedding with Steph anyway. Please tell me you're joking... If not, the countdown 'til Smackdown is officially fucked begins...
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Please tell me you're joking... If not, the countdown 'til Smackdown is officially fucked begins... Unfortunately, it may be true, because I read about it one time. The on-air wedding would happen in the fall of this year and HHH would jump back to Smackdown. Smackdown was already fucked though, what with all the Vince/Steph/Sable/Zach Gowan/Mr. America shit and short matches with WWE-style in them that could have been better(Ultimo Dragon vs. Shannon Moore, Chris Benoit vs. Rhyno, etc.). So I guess when HHH jumps back, don't be surprised if Angle, Lesnar, Benoit, Guerrero, Tajiri, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, etc. are forced to put him over as we yell obscentities at the TV screen throughout.

I realy don't thomk there's any way that HHH will: A) Lose the title B) Turn Face (or have Steph turn Heel) C) Jump to Smackdown D) Romance Steph and convince her to marry him E) Build up to the big day In the space of a few months. Theres not enough time to do it cohesively.
Guest OnlyMe Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Theres not enough time to do it cohesively. Then they'll just make a rush job of it. Obviously. Nik
LooseCannon25 Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 It would be very simple for them.... 1)HHH loses the title at SummerSlam 2) One night on Smackdown Steph is getting threatened or beaten and HHH comes out of nowhere to save the day. 3)HHH realizes he still loves Stephanie and proposes to her again in Sept. and she accepts. 4)HHH and Steph are married on Smackdown in Oct. It's very simple for them to do
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Or HHH just leaves Raw and never loses the belt, so they have to set up a tourny to find out who the champ is, then HHH returns to raw and beats the winner of the tourny having never lost the belt in the first place.
Adam Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 ^ yep, that will most likely happen, but any idea to get Triple H off my TV for at least a few months is a great idea to me
Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Wouldn't it be great if HHH and Jericho both went to Smackdown, and Jericho was forced to be Lucy the Dog's date at the wedding. Hilarity would ensue, like the dog peeing or pooping on Jericho's foot or some other whacky incident.
