You know, once you put aside that any and all interest in the Vengeance main has been killed and that Angle and Lesnar may be ruined, it's not that bad of a show

AS, this should only teach you to not assume that the poster of spoilers has included every single part of the show he/she is spoiling.

Learn something every day, now doncha?

Exactly...They do add taped segments after the show...

So who knows...JUST YET maybe they cut an AWESOME sit down interview ala Rock/Austin...Doubtful but possible.

It's still not anywhere approaching kind of sort of almost acceptable

But, they're on the show

The only good things are the Eddie/Tajiri vs. Team Angle tag and Rey/Nunzio cruiser *matches* (I say matches because the circumstances around them SUCK)

Why can't Mysterio match be just a match for the sake of having a match and setting up the Kidman/Mysterio fued...

Because it's a reflection of the way the WWE treats cruiserweights. Nunzio is feuding against heavyweight Taker one week (then gets destroyed and made to look like a total bitch) and is against the cruiserweight champion the next week.

Does it matter? No...Let it go.

So is WWE working on a Taker turn here? I mean Cena will rape Taker's ass with the rhymes...

Well it does matter as the way the WWE treats it's divisions, champions, and challengers and cruiserweights will only continue to get worse and worse and we'll end up with nothing getting over at all.

Here are some more detailed results:

Dark Matches

(1) Ultimo Dragon beat Chaz Wicks. A couple of mis-timed moves in this match. Dragon won with his kick-ass move (name?)

(2) Ben Dunn & Mike Lehan beat Joe E. Legend and Sean Lamowski- I just tried to sound out the 3 jobbers names, as I didn't really hear them. I thought Legend signed with TNA? The winners were billed as being from Rochester, which gave them an instant cheap pop. Loud "boring" chants.

Josh & The Cat came out.

Velocity Tapings

(1) Jamie Noble (w/Nidia) beat Spanky with the guillotine choke. Lots of "Let's go Spanky" chants.

(2) Sean O'Haire beat Funaki with the "Prophecy" I believe it's called. "Where is Piper" chant was pretty funny.

(3) Kanyon beat Mike Bell with the flatliner. Kanyon wins finally!

(4) Matt Hardy beat Shannon Moore with a small package. Matt deemed this Shannon's last chance to prove his mattitude. Shannon put up a good fight and Hardy shook his hand after the match. Looks like all is well.

Smackdown! Taping

-The Zach/Vince angle was replayed.

-Vince came on the titantron and said he'd seal Mr. America's fate tonight.

(1) Rey Mysterio, Jr. beat Nunzio to retain the Cruiserweight Title. Kidman came out and sat in the crowd for this one, receiving a "Kidman's got a bald spot" chant from those above him. The ref made Chuck and Stamboli go to the back before the match. When they tried to interfere, the APA came down and took them out. Kidman was excited for Rey, joining him in the ring for a celebration.

-Brock and Kurt Angle were backstage. They did some hijinks involving Kurt accidentally spitting milk on a stagehand.

(2) Chris Benoit & Rhyno beat The Bashams (w/Shaniqua) with the Crossface.

-Vince and Steph were backstage. Steph tried unsuccessfully get out of her handicap match with Big Show.

-Steph and Sable backstage segment.

-Noble and Nidia got out of a limo earlier in the day- Nidia showed off her

(fake) fur coat and Noble showed off his new sunglasses.

-Orlando Jordan talks to 'Taker backstage. Cena interrupts.

(3) Billy Gunn (w/Torrie) beat John Cena in the U.S. Title Tourney. Cena's pre-match rap was hilarious, prompting the crowd's "Let's go Cena" chants during the match. Cena tried to use his chains, but 'Taker came out distracting Cena and allowing Gunn to get a small package for the win.

-Angle challenged Brock to a pushup competition to see if he could do 300.

-The t-shirt guy came out. He gave away shirts. Moving on...

-Brock finished his pushups at 301. Angle then declined to do them, leaving a tired Brock a bit perturbed.

(4) Benjamin and Haas "The Best Damn Tag Team Period" beat Eddy and Tajiri for the Tag Titles. They came out in the lowrider. The crowd was chanting for Eddie to cheat, so he did. Also, the ref kept admonishing him to use the tag rope, so he detached it from the ring post so it would slide around the rope so he could walk on the apron and still be attached to it.

-Mr. America highlights.

-Tajiri was still lying on the lowrider hood from the match. Eddie walked around the ring distraught. He then pushed Tajiri out of the way, showing his concern was for the car. He then beat up Tajiri and put him thru the windshield. Tajiri did a stretcher job.

-Zach was backstage stretching while Big Show taunted him.

(5) A-Train beat Orlando Jordan with the Derailer.

-Big Show talked to Steph backstage.

-WM Recall- Jake Roberts and Alice Cooper

-Vince and Sable came down to announce that Vince had footage from after Smackdown! last week where America took his mask off and it was Hogan. They showed the highlights, after which Vince did the "You're Fired!" bit. They took seats ringside for the handicap match

(6) Zach and Steph beat Big Show in a No-DQ handicap match. Angle and Lesnar both interfered to help Zach and Steph. Vince hit Angle with a chair to no avail. Zach moonsaulted onto Big Show for the pin.

I seem to be the only one alarmed at the total lack of The champion and number one contender.

Was this their way of not making it any worse?

Don't worry, they'll stil book them in a way that pisses you off ;)

i.e. Not at all

Someone give me ONE, ONE reason why they aren't on the show and an Albert match is?

Albert is a hoss.

Brock is a half hoss and thusly can be removed.

I was at the show tonight... Pretty much everything has already been said, but crowd LOVED Eddie... tons of chants for him throughout the match, as well as some for Tajiri. Crowd chanted "cheat" and Eddie just shrugs and jumps in the ring. Spot where he threw Tajiri on the windshield was cool looking... don't get why they're turning Eddie when he's so popular. Good match, though.

Surprised to see Ultimo in the first match... he got a good pop. Cena got a great pop as well.

Crowd was wild at the end of the Gowen/Steph/Show match when Angle and Lesnar ran out and Zach did his moonsault on Show.

Now the triple threat championship match at Vengeance is for sure.

Overall it was a real fun show... met Kanyon afterward... nice guy for signing all the autographs and taking pictures.

Maybe it's me but Maybe that was a small wink for a Heel angle...

Go ahead and do push ups brock, 300 of them.

Ok Kurt

*Does 300"

Your turn kurt

Nah...I gotta do something but you were great...

....

O.K the purpose was to build that these guys are friends...Creating a Mega-Powers Tandem when Lesnar or Angle become the Savage to the other Hogan (Angle makes a better Savage)...

So the biggest threat to Brock Lesnar's title over the last few months just got beat by a one-legged guy and Stephanie McMahon?

In five minutes.

...And as far as Anglesault's complaining goes... well, he's absolutely right. Did they just decide that a vacation in Maui would be more conveniant than, you know, showing up on television and continuing their feud, or something?

They WERE on the show, but in goofy segments instead of matches. Guess you can't win 'em all.

I figure they kept both Angle and Lesnar out of the ring this week to let them heal a bit from their injuries.

You know, once you put aside that any and all interest in the Vengeance main has been killed and that Angle and Lesnar may be ruined, it's not that bad of a show

AS, tell us again how you're not overreacting. How exactly is "any and all interest" killed just because they're not wrestling on one show? And how are they ruined? Nope, no overreacting there, eh?

Other points:

- Maybe Ultimo needs to get rid of some ring rust, or adjust to the wwe sized ring. The spoilers say there were some mistakes in the match, and even though I'm presuming they were mostly due to the opponent being green you really don't know.

- Cena wasn't going to win the tourney, so him losing but starting an angle with Taker might not be that bad. If he gets squashed next week, then yes it sucks, but if he looks good or even ~gasp~ goes over at the ppv then color me happy. (and I agree that it sucks that he lost to Gunn, but Torrie is hot and gets a reaction, so the wwe most likely wants to get her some TV time ... if Gunn is in the finals or wins the tourney, then let the bitching begin)

- People complained that Benoit and Rhyno were on Velocity, and now they're not. Be happy about it, watch the match and enjoy it.

- The end to the Hogan/America/VKM crap sucked, but if Hogan really quit, then they were kind of painted into a corner, and had to abort the shit angle somehow.

- What are the odds we'll get Gowan/Show at the PPV instead of the three way dance? (slim and none, but I'd prefer that to Show joining the Lesnar/Angle match)

How was Billy Gunn's reaction? I mean, the crowd DID give CENA a huge pop and chant for HIM...

He must have received an even BIGGER pop and MORE chants, because, you know, he's so popular and all.

but if he looks good or even ~gasp~ goes over at the ppv

*spits out cereal*

Did anybody say anything about that?

I understand why they are doing the 3 way - to stretch the Angle/Brock feud one more month, but I can't get excited about yet ANOTHER title match featuring the big slug.

Angle making Brock do pushups and then laughing at him I like. Angle spitting milk and looking stupid is beyond asinine.

I don't like Eddy turning heel, but it does set him up to be moved up the card instead of tag team wrestling, and he is an awesome heel.

Benoit + Shaniqua = Crap. Benoit needs a manager who is a voice for him, not some woman who is green. (who is so damn big that he will look EVEN SMALLER.)

Dragon not being on the show is retarded, especially since they could have just edited the match out if it wasn't at a high standard.

Billy Gunn getting any type of push is retarded. Put him against Matt at the PPV for the US title, and the crowd will turn Matt face.

ONE WEEK AGO

when Billy faced Kanyon and Kanyon was the de facto face and got several chants

They'll just ignore that, because that's not what they want.

Eddie never really was a face. His gimmick was based on cheating. I'd say he was more of a tweener.

Everyone is overdoing the horror of Billy Gunn push. The guy is a midcarder. So what if he wins a midcard title? Sure, I would rather see it on Matt Hardy but getting bent out of shape about it is kind of weird.

Gunn got a horribele reaction. Loud CENA chants, or we want torrie. Only BA supporters were some African Americans behind me insisting Cena was a 'wanna be nigga' The thing about the Benoit match... afterward, Shaniqua motions for him to come to her with her finger, tempting him or something, and Benoit LOOKS INTERESTED. IN SHANIQUA. SMELL THE RATINGS. Crowd was very confused over Eddy heel turn, the crowd was very very hot for him. Not counting the end fiasco with Brock and Kurt running down, he was getting the biggest face pops. Tajiri got hip tossed on the truck parked at ringside, then sold his ribs forever (re: 15 min including commercials and what not) then Eddie looked at Tajiri became distracted, Former Team Angle hit their finisher, and got the pin (although it was a delayed 3 count like a HHH match, because the ref was checking on Tajiri). After match, Eddie throws Tajiri off car, than tries to clean the hood of the truck, showing much concern for it over Tajiri. Then he proceeds to put him throw the windshield.
