Guest Dangerous A Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 After reading on the Raw thread about a possible Test vs Nash feud, I can see a ton of threads starting up about this subject. Let's do our best to keep this soon to be hot topic contained in this thread. That includes all flames, insults, curses, and even compliments (yeah right) in here. All I can say is that no possible good can come from Nash vs Test. This could be the worse in ring feud since El Gigante vs Undertaker.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 They kept it short, because Montreal has suffered enough. And Test's still not over and he still can't act. When will they give up?
Guest The Old Me Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 They never give up on hosses! At least Nash jobbed, and put that young "blue chipper" over.
Guest NoCalMike Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 match was shit, as expected. No further explanation needed.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Test is the future of our company" Linda McMahon
Guest The Old Me Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Test is the future of our company" Linda McMahon See. Nash is going to pass the torch.
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 heh we use to say that Test had a Nash feel to him when he first arrived... there is a eerie feeling that we might get a "Test...I am your Father" angle... its Darth and Luke all over again! lol
B. Brian Brunzell Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Test is the future of our company" Linda McMahon See. Nash is going to pass the torch. While Test has the bad workrate and overall bad wrestling skills to take Nash's place, he's missing one key element: THE HAIR.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Compliments: It was short, and seeing Trish get knocked around brings joy to me. Lilian announcing the winner as "Kevin...TEST!" was beautiful. Complaints: Everything else. I hope this means Nash will be fired soon.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Why is Trish getting knocked around a good thing? You WANT to see this continued "Test is a women abuser feud"?
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 (edited) Why is Trish getting knocked around a good thing? You WANT to see this continued "Test is a women abuser feud"? I don't like Trish's character, that's all. I don't care about Test either, but whatever. I find it funny that she takes a bump that she'd normally shrug off in a match, but because she isn't in the match it suddenly is devastating. Kinda like wrestlers as guest referees. I honestly didn't notice Test is doing a woman abuser angle, because I don't pay that much attention to Test. Isn't Austin doing the same gimmick, but after he did it in real life? Test only did wrestling moves (well, the closest he knows). He never punched her or kicked her in the face--not even worked ones. Gotta love King's comments about sexual harrassment, though...I hope that didn't come from his mind. Edited July 8, 2003 by AndrewTS
Guest jester Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 They kept it short, because Montreal has suffered enough. And Test's still not over and he still can't act. When will they give up? Test has "potential."
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 They kept it short, because Montreal has suffered enough. And Test's still not over and he still can't act. When will they give up? Test has "potential." AHHHH!! The threads have crashed. >_< Yeah, potential to be the new Billy Gunn.
Guest jester Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I caught the last part of Raw and the overselling of Randy Orton is really getting pathetic. I almost wanted to call up JR and offer to buy some Orton merchandise because he was trying so gosh darn hard [pats JR on the head]. At one point, Orton was being thrown in the air, taking a move from RVD or Bubba. And JR screamed "Look at the height" as if it was a positive thing or some kind of accomplishment for ORTON, not the person who made the move. Orton was TAKING the OFFENSIVE move. As in, he should have been in pain. Next we'll see JR scream that Orton bleeds better than anyone else. Or look at the way he climbs those ropes! But that's potential for you.
Guest starvenger Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 AHHHH!! The threads have crashed. >_< Yeah, potential to be the new Billy Gunn. Hey, let's not even get into any potential Bradshaw/Billy Gunn feuds here. Whatever heat Test had was sucked away after Steph "married" HHH. And I'm not a big Test fan or anything, but hey, at least his big boot LOOKS painful, which is more than you could ever say about any of Nash's moves.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 What do you mean?! The Side Sla...Nash's Big Boo...the elbows in the corn... Uh...well, the Lazybomb he did on the Giant looked painful!!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 The "Kevin TEST!" shit just cracked me up. How about calling Test 'Kevin Nash 2000'? What about 'Kevin Nash DX'? Or how about both guys start a feud and take in some of the biggest no-talent hosses of all time. I could see Nash, Test, and Nathan Jones form a team called. *wait for it, wait for it* Kevolution.
Guest Gomezticator Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Uh...well, the Lazybomb he did on the Giant looked painful!! Oh, you mean the Ganso Poochiebomb?
Guest The Old Me Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 *wait for it, wait for it* Kevolution. Oh jesus christ.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 *wait for it, wait for it* Kevolution. Oh jesus christ. <Nash> "Now this man" *points at Jones* "He represents the future of Kevolution, the seven foot tall, god only knows how many pounds... This man is Nathan Jones!" *Jones poses* <Nash> "Now you may say, 'Kev, why did you bring a big bald guy into your stable', but I'll tell you all, Nathan Jones has unexplored potential. I'm going to rinse, shampoo, and repeat a beautiful head of hair on our Mr. Jones! THIS IS THE MAN THAT CARRIES CONDITIONER AND BAD MATCHES INTO THE NEXT DECADE!"
Guest jester Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Kevolution: like Mattitude, but without the good matches. Or the entertaining promos. And slowed down to about a 1/20th of the pace. And about triple the politics.

EDIT: Also, their entrance is helluva long to mask the fact that it takes the whole stable half of Raw to get into the ring.

That's probably because the bumps she receives in matches are usually administered by women. Not 282 pound men.
Guest The ChriZa Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 (edited) there is a eerie feeling that we might get a "Test...I am your Father" angle... its Darth and Luke all over again! Which is interesting since Darth Vader was 80 percent metal and Kevin Nash moves like he has a metal pole up his ass. The way Test is going though, he couldn't even get action from his sister right now. At least Luke...I'll stop myself there. <---Geek Edited July 8, 2003 by The ChriZa
Guest subliminal_animal Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Why is Trish getting knocked around a good thing? You WANT to see this continued "Test is a women abuser feud"? Why not? From the tone of your post, it sounds like the reason is that you take offense to it, but I don't know (that's why I asked). I've always liked Test. He was great with Booker in the Alliance and during the first incarnation of the "deluded ladykiller" personality, but recently he's been becoming a real highlight of Raw for me. He's plays the over-the-top scumbag to the hilt. After he wins the match, he comes up to Trish from behind and pulls her out of the ring, smashing her against the floor, all because she turned down his advances. He walks away with that self-satisfied smirk, and then goes back and shoves her into the guardrail. To me, that's good stuff.

Guest Trivia247 Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Uh...well, the Lazybomb he did on the Giant looked painful!! Oh, you mean the Ganso Poochiebomb? even a Real life Ganso bomb seems more Prepared than what Nash Does.. I like to make an example like this.. Big Kev...he gets Paid the Multi Million to Haul someone Up but they are on their own when they fall. So He only gets paid to lift them up safely...not to drop them safely. so I often call it...the Half ass Bomb... Half the job lifting up.....without the other half of following through with the driving down.
Guest Korgath Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I think Test got somewhat over with Stacy, and has improved to a level where he can stand on his own two feet (something I can't say for Steiner or Nash). Give the man a chance. I dare say with the right amount of luck and opportunity, he might still turn out to be a decent worker. Don't boo him out of the building just because he looks like Nash. Enjoy the little things about his newfound character.
