Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Well for me, It's a tie: Hilary Duff:" Why Not" Nick Cannon & B2K: "Anybody Feeling Freaky"
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Get Busy is sick. (in a good way) Anything Nick Cannon or Justin Timberfake do can qualify for worse song of the year.
Guest ant_7000 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Get Busy is a hot song especially when you're at a club, this song will most definitely get chicks shakin it on the dance floor. I also like to nominate Nelly's "Pimp Juice" Lyrics are horrible, I hate when wack rappers waste good beats.
Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Nick Cannon - Your Dad Don't Like Me
B. Brian Brunzell Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 "Why Not?"-Hilary Duff "Girls and Boys"- Good Charlotte
Guest Choken One Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Has Nickelback done anything? If so...it's that one...
Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 The last thing I remember Nickelback releasing was a single called Never Again. It was horrid, but I don't think it was this year.
Guest treble charged Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Foo Fighters - Times Like These It's not a very good song to start with, but it's on the radio ALL THE FUCKING TIME. I can be in the car for 5 minutes and hear it twice on 2 different radio stations.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Since you must live near Toronto, you have to admit that you hear FUCKING SAM ROBERTS LIKE TEN TIMES A DAY AT LEAST LITERALLY! I don't mind him, but now I simply can't stand him due to the overexposure. Decent pop singer/songwriter.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 The song that Metalica has out on video now. That is one terrible piece of shit.

I don't mind him, but now I simply can't stand him due to the overexposure. Decent pop singer/songwriter. Well, I live closer to Ottawa, but YES, all the fucking time. I've liked him ever since I heard 'Brother Down', but I think most radio stations and Much play his songs to reach their CanCon quota and try and help a new guy try and get over.
Guest El Satanico Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 The song that Metalica has out on video now. That is one terrible piece of shit. Hey bps I'm madly in hate with you... Good job Metallica...lyrics featuring awful grammar will show them all that metallica is hardcore and angry.
Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 What about "My lifestyle determines my death style"? Now that's a serious epiphany if there ever was one.

I actually like "Where Have All The Good People Gone" better than "Brother Down". IMO, worst song so far (and a candidate for worst cover, EVER) this year: "Big Yellow Taxi" by Counting Crows and Vanessa Carlton. This is a very hard song to screw up, yet they've managed to do it.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 That crap-ass song by Lillix. I'd do them all somethin' fierce (cept for the drummer) but GOD-DAMN if that song and video aren't the worst things in the history of the planet.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 I wouldn't mind the songs if I didn't hear it all the fucking time. Soft rock stations, classic rock stations, Alternative rock stations, all play him like ten times a day. On top of that, Sean Paul and 50 Cent take up all the time on the Top Forty stations, and all I have is the hip-hop station to listen to. But the pure worst song I've heard all year is probably that shit from Metallica. Bad in everyway. EDIT: Someone else seems to have just posted it, or maybe I just missed it, but Trapt - Headstrong may indeed be even WORSE than St. Anger. Yikes.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 St. Anger Headstrong Whatever Saliva's last single was. They are the worst band on earth.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Everything on "Young and The Hopeless" and "No Helmets, No Pads, Just Balls". God, I want Good Charlotte and Simple Plan to die.
The Dames Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 "Get Busy" is awesome. I'm the man when doing Sean Paul songs at Kareoke. No shit. Dames
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 50 Cent "In Da Club" 50 Cent "21 Questions" 50 Cent and Lil' Kim "Magic Stick" 50 Cent "Many Men" Bascially anything by 50 Cent qualifies for worst song of the year. 50 Cent qualifies for the most overexposed and overrated artist of the year. And worst artist of the year. Also, add anything by the 1,000 wannabe pop-punk bands out there. Infact, 90% of the songs on Top 40 this year have been horrible. This has NOT been a good year for mainstream music.

And worst artist of the year. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you're not a 50 Cent fan. I'll be honest, I like "In Da Club" but like most of you I'm annoyed with it because of it's "high rotation" status on radio stations. His other songs... well, they suck.
Guest Random Hero Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Rock wit u (AWWW Baby) Are you kidding? That is one of the few RnB songs that I can stand.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 "In Da Club" and "Magic Stick" are perfect party/dance/club songs. "21 Questions", however, can die a slow death as far as I'm concerned. I hate hate hate that song.

Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Rock wit u (AWWW Baby) Are you kidding? That is one of the few RnB songs that I can stand. It's OK, I actually thought of other songs. The last two singles Madonna has released. Her new album bombed didn't it?
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 You are correct, Starvenger. I can't stand 50 Cent. I never have liked him actually. I find his flow to be medicore at best. The beats of his songs are what carried him. And the only reason he is so damn popular is because he is associated with Eminem and Dr. Dre. He's now become more annoying than Ja Rule. I also hate that people love him because he's a "real thug" and got shot 9 times. After hearing "21 Questions" without the beat, I relize that he sucks even more.
