Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted July 12, 2003 I've heard rumors that Vince is interested in a TNA talent. Try to guess who it is? Come on, think. What guy has the qualities that Vince Mcmahon wants? Joe E. Legend. This guy is Vince's wet dream. Tall, pretty good on the mic, and has a full head of hair. And while The Artist Previously Known as Just Joe was ok last week, I find it funny that out of a whole roster of great talents Vince likes this guy. Other people I won't be surprised to be signed: 1)Vince Russo: Mcmahon will get desperate again. 2)AMW: Great tag team. 3)Trinity: Great body, but she'll have to have that mandatory Vince Mcmahon affair. 4)Sting: Money talks. 5) Fallen Angel Chris Daniels: He's too cool to be ignored. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted July 12, 2003 That's funny. What's also funny is when you look at TNA and who WWE would be most likely to sign the name Styles won't come up. What you will see is: 1. Trinity 2. Abyss (only worked 1 match and he's destined for WWE) 3. Joe E. Legend (he's big and can work) 4. AMW (they just fill a need so perfectly. Work well together, good tag team. WWE has no tag teams) Those are the 5 people I would see at the top of the list.
Guest MideonMark Report post Posted July 12, 2003 Am I the only one who doesnt get the whole 'Vince loves wrestlers with full heads of hair' thing. I mean the 2 top guys in the history of the WWF/E(Hogan and Austin) werent exactly blessed in that department
Guest Deviant Report post Posted July 12, 2003 I'll be quite happy if WWE stop signing and wasting top notch talent. I want people to stop begging for Daniels, Low Ki and Styles to get signed. It would be like sentencing them the career crucifixion. Sure, it's their life and their career, but I'm a selfish person. Hopefully these three in particular are doing quite well for themselves as top indies stars with work in ROH, TNA, Zero-One/MPro, ECWA, JAPW and wherever else. The last thing I want is to see them added to A-Train's Velocity victims.

I hope Dragon doesn't get signed either because his style just doesn't fit. WWE don't know how to market him.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted July 12, 2003 1 & 2: AMW: The top tag team in America today. When they get the crowd poping for near falls against Diamond and Swinger, than thats good shit. 3: Simon Diamond: Dawn Marie is his wife, he's hella good talent, why hasn't he been signed? 4. Abyss: JR's wet dream. 5. Qeenan Creed: Most underated high flyer on the indy scene.
Guest Deviant Report post Posted July 12, 2003 AMW has stated that they aren't interested in going to WWE, and that sort of statement has always been reliable in the past... I don't think Dragon will get signed for a second. People are getting a hard-on over his dark and B-show matches, anxious to see his entire character and in-ring work massacred apparantly, but I just don't think WWE has even looked twice at him. The look, the style, the talent, nothing fits into WWE. Of course, they may sign him and ruin him just for fun... I could see Michael Shane in WWE. He's not that good, but he's not bad either, and being HBK's cousin... well I'm surprised he hasn't been signed already. Maybe they are holding off on him just so it looks like being related to HBK had nothing to do with it. I think he'd do alright in WWE IF given something resembling a chance. Whether or not fans would accept him or like him is another story.

Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted July 12, 2003 American Dragon and Michael Shane have an "in" due to their training at the TWA from HBK and Regal. I'm assuming this is the same "in" that got Spanky his tryout and subsequent contract. Though Shane will more likely end up there, I can't see Dragon getting a contract, or even accepting one for that matter. The only sure thing on the indy market to be signed by WWE was probably Paul London. Daniels obviously has something politically going against him, as there is no other reason that he wouldn't be signed by now. Low-Ki is too stiff by WWE standards and would be given a total overhaul. Simon Diamond will get in eventually due to his relationship w/ Heyman and his marriage to Dawn Marie. Any word on AMW's contract status w/ TNA? I know that WWE was interested in Kid Kash and Trinity a while back but they're signed to a long-term deal. If AMW comes up for "free agency" so to speak, they're WWE bound for sure. Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted July 12, 2003 I see American Dragon ending up in the WWE someday. He has worked dark matches, Heat, and Velocity in the past and I think that is a sign that he is going to get a contract someday. Abyss will most likely get snatched up sometime soon. I think Jeff Hardy will come back in the near future if he can show the WWE he has his act together. Also I wouldn't be surprised if D-Lo came back after showing his skills in TNA. D'lo isn't coming back, especially not after the sweet-as-sugar interview he did with Live Audio Wrestling a few weeks back. He was basically like "Hey, I'm not going back there so I don't give two shits what I say." Oh, add AJ Styles to that list. People can talk about TNA loyalty and him turning down a contract until the cows come home but money talks and WWE will eventually offer him a TV Contract instead of just a developmental deal. syxx2001 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2003 If money talks so much how come Low Ki would rather take stiff beatings in Japan and ROH than change his style and go to the WWE? To some people, other things are more important than money. And Styles is signed to a TNA contract and he has to fulfill all of his dates before moving on somewhere else. Guest ViciousFish Report post Posted July 12, 2003 I'm glad to see there are people like Low-Ki who would rather get the shit kicked out of them in Japan and make less money than to give up and go with Vince. His style would be hobbled and as much as I would love to see him on mainstream TV so he could get some exposure he's way better off in the indies and Japan. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted July 13, 2003 I thikn Styles has the longest contract in TNA at this point. Everytime they hand out contracts to the top guys (AMW, Lynn, Styles, Raven and such) Styles always gets an extension. He's probably locked up for months in advance...and they'll probably keep it that way.
Guest Korgath Report post Posted July 14, 2003 The truth is that debuts now have just gotten from bad to worse. If I see another Cena-Spanky-Tenacious Z "plucky n00b gets his due" angle I'm going to puke. For that reason, I hope never to see Am Drag or Daniels in the WWE. 'nuff said. Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 I believe Styles and Daniels could have made it big if WCW was still around. Along with Jason Jett and Kash. I miss my dubyaceedubya AIR RAID~! Daniels' look has improved a lot since late 2000 when WCW used him, as he looks a lot more like a guy who can contend with a heavyweight. Jett would've definitely been a star with how WCW was pushing, and Kash probably would've done well too. It's a shame the last two, three months of WCW was pretty much the cruiserweights putting on *** - **** 1/2 matches, while the heavyweights were all pretty blah.
