I mean, it's no big stretch of the imagination. Kidman is being set up to have a run as a dickish, arrogant heel. Complaining that another wrestler is stealing his moves is one way in which to forshadow his eventual turn. But assuming he was being legit, who cares? I don't get the "Oh, fuck Kidman for saying that!" attitude coming off some of you.

The Merosault was just a variation of a moonsault onto a standing opponent.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 While I can understand the logic in one wrestler being mad at another for taking and using one of their signature spots on a regular basis (For example, I wouldn't blame Benoit if he was mad that Angle started using the rolling germans, but that's just an EXAMPLE and a can of worms I don't wanna open right now) this was a move Brock used ONCE. Was he mad at Shane McMahon too? EDIT: Someone needs to look in to who did invent the SSP. I've ALWAYS been told it was Liger.

He probably could have found a way to sugarcoat it though. Kind of like when J.R. calls a match "methodical" or "bowling shoe-ugly."

I've done it before. To a guy around 150 lbs. Kidman, now that he's roided up a bit, should at the LEAST be able to do it to another cruiser.

Basically everybody's SSP blows Kidman's away, which is part of the reason I think people are upset that it's "his move." With standing SSPs and Shooting Star Legdrops being perfected and copied, the SSP really isn't that impressive outside of WWE anymore.
