Eddie Guerrero was never in a position of power in WCW. Dames Really? Ya could've fooled me, because Bisch has been in the company for a year and they have NEVER taken him seriously. What I'm saying is that if Bischoff wasn't...you know, the same Bischoff that said all those about Vince and tried to out do him all these years and was JUST a guy on top in WCW, he wouldn't be nearly as buried. It has to do with the fact that Vince hated Bischoff, not JUST WCW. Dames

Vince knew that the fans wouldn't know who he was at first, so he did the Confedential piece on him and WCW. Bad start. The piece portrayed in a terrible light, already planting the McMahon seed of evil in WWE fans heads. Now he is constantly humiliated and shit on by fans and WWE officials alike. Bischoff = WCW. Bischoff getting embarrassed = WWE hating WCW.

If you take him while he's over and put him in a few month run against the likes of Angle, he's going to get MORE over not less. So, worst case scenario, Angle vs. Guerrero for the belt, with Angle winning to blow-off their feud.

There is some talk amongst WWE officials that if Eddie Guerrero continues to garner uproarious heat, he may be booked in a WWE title match against Kurt Angle at the Survivor Series. The Series will emanate from Dallas, Texas this year, which is fairly close to Eddie's hometown of El Paso. Vince took Heyman out of Head Writer postion, supposedly because of some backstage conflict, but it wouldn't surprise me if Heyman was coming up with ideas that Vince didn't like because they weren't his ideas. Running the ship right into the ground and all.

Definitely, the crowd loves a heel that cheats in the manner than Eddie does. He isn't hitting people with sledgehammers, but actually out thinking his opponents which leads to a good laugh. Plus the guy is ultra-charismatic before, after, and during his matches.

I find it funny that in the six years of the attitude era, only two people have really gotten that shades of grey attitude right: Steve Austin...and Eddy Guerrero. Exactly. Just how Austin used to defy authority and kick the shit outta his boss, Guerrero plays the clever sneak who outsmarts authority. In doing so, he plays to the crowd and gets them involved in his shenanigans.
