Here are the match times of the BB PPV.

 

Dudleys vs. Mack/Nowinski = 7:10

 

Team Angle vs. Filthy Animals

 

Steiner vs. Test = 6:40

 

Taker vs. Cena

 

Booker vs. Christian = 8:01

 

Eddie vs. Benoit

 

La Rez vs. RVKane = 5:50

 

Knoble vs. Gunn

 

Goldie vs. Jericho = 11:00

 

Steph vs. Sable

 

Flair vs. Michaels = 14:07

 

McMahon vs. Gowan

 

HHH vs. Nash = 21:00

Ok, the BB PPV went about 15 minutes short, either the WWE will learn from that, or they will do it again. If they learn from that, match time will probably be given to Taker vs. Cena (Prob 8 minutes), Benoit vs. Guerrero (Prob 10 minutes), The Tag title match (Prob 12 minutes)... which is around 10 extra minutes. I expect the APA Bar Brawl to go nearly as long as the Redneck deal.

Segment 1: APA introduces everyone at the bar. Bar Brawl Begins.

 

Cole: We got to head to the ring, we'll check back to those whacky bar brawlers as soon as possible!

 

Segment 2: Bar Brawl continues, various people get thrown around, Mae Young and Moolah enter wanting to participate, Bradshaw and Simmons laugh and let them in, Spanky gets molested. The brawl goes out on to the street...

 

Cole: Oh my god! What will happen next!

 

Segment 3: Brawl moves into the arena and through the crowd. Yada Yada Yada, Mae Young gets naked and Vince laughs his ass off behind the scenes.

When I was reading this thread, a scary finish for the main event hit me. Look, they want to turn Brock heel, and they want to make Kurt look strong for Summerslam right. What if Angle has Show beat and Brock just comes out and beats down Kurt with a steel chair for the DQ. Just like that, Brock's a mean heel that nobody likes, and everyone wants to see Kurt get revenge at Summerslam. However, it totally fucks over anyone that paid $35 to watch Vengeance. I shouldn't complain since I have to pay between $0 and $2 at the local bar to see it, but I probably won't get to see Summerslam and I want to see Kurt win the title now!

 

P.S. Oh by the way, the reason Bad Blood was so short was that HHH wanted 35 minutes for the main event and there's no way Sable/Stephanie will go over 5 minutes. There will be plenty of time for Benoit/Guerrero and Undertaker/Cena.

The storyline alone shouldn't get 5 minutes (in total), yet they dedicate half the show to it. To think it's going to go short is underestimating the ego of a mcmahon.

I guess I'll call around to find a bar that carries the PPV or I'll stay home and follow the play by play from here.

 

You know, WWE should offer discounts on the PPV DVDs if you buy the PPVs when they air. As it is, I think "if it sucks I saved the money, if it rocks I'll be able to get the DVD later and save 35 bucks."

 

I can't find enough friends who like wrestling anymore to split the cost. Thanks, Vince!

 

I do admit missing Eddy/Benoit live hurts, though.

Last time Eddie and Benoit faced off on PPV they worked a slow paced mat wrestling match which killed the crowd. You think Vince would book that again so they don't show up his, Steph's and the main event matches?
