Say, what stats did you use when you changed Teddy Harts, because if he's as good as people say he is, I want in!

I changed the stats to these (as that's about comparable to what I know of Hart right now):

Brawl 43

Speed 87

Tech 76

Stiff 33

Sell 89

Over 46 (left as is)

Charisma 75 (although, I feel that should be higher as I mean, SHIT, he's got his own fucking thread in TNA folder and still is talked about. I'd say he connects with the fans very fucking well)

Attitude and Behaviour I left as it was, because that's a reasonable assumption.

Run time error '383'

Text property is read only

Can anyone help?

You probably need the EWR 4.2 fix. It'll fix up that problem.

You've probably got someone on worker on commentary that is either injuried or suspended. that's what you get usually when that happens.

Well, at this current point in time, I'm semi-fucked, but semi-cruising. I'm crusing in the sense that I've hit 100% Global PI with WWE and I'm making money and I've swallowed two other feds already. However, I'm fucked in the sense that I am on the verge of losing some top stars. Kurt Angle is an absolute certainty to be lost, undoubtedly to TNA, who is slowly creeping up to 35% Global PI as his morale has inexplicably plummeted to 15 and he has one month left on his contract. Lesnar is down at 36 morale but with 2 years on his contract, however I can't get any good matches out of him when he's working sluggish. The Rock is also down at 30, but fortunately with 20 months left too. There's no way I can lose Rock or Lesnar with that much left under contract is there??

Frankly, I've grown a little weary with playing as WWE and want to start my own promotion. I do however want to stick around to see my rookies come out of the training camp in 3 months and I have brought up some ripping talent through OVW and still have some sitting in there that I want to keep playing with. Very bothersome. Do I get to take any guys with me if I leave to run my own fed?? I've spent so long bringing guys like Colt Cabana, Ace Steel, Johnny Kashmere, Austin Lee, Aidan Nathans and such up to wicked levels through OVW it would just be a shame to leave them all behind now. Not to mention my CW division comprising of Psychosis, Spanky, London, Chavo, Super Crazy, Ultimo, Rey, etc. Advise me, oh wise Flik.

Yep- Corino is my commentator and is in rehab.

Can you link me to this 'fix' Flik? Thanks

I'm not Flik-like when it comes to EWR, but maybe I can help some people out.

bob, here you go. I posted this link earlier, but some people said that they had trouble downloading it. I just checked and it worked for me.

In the past, I've had some wrestlers refuse to work and sit out their contract if their morale dropped too low. That basically gives you no option but to fire/release them, unless you feel like paying for someone who won't work.

If you're really desperate to raise morale (and don't mind cheating), try the trick that I suggested back on page 33.

One more question from mr. computer illiterate-

I put everything in the ewr42update and went to start but it didn't save my game from 4.0.

So I'm still SOL here

Oi...

The "patch" should just be an .exe file (if it's the rest, don't care about it and just take the .exe file). All you do is slide new .exe file over the old one and all shall be good.

Did you put everything into the 4.2 folder or did you put the 4.2 .exe in the 4.0 folder? If you put the 4.2 .exe file in the 4.0 folder and overwrite the old .exe you shouldn't have any problems

EDIT: The champion beat me to it because of board f' up :P .

Hey, yo; thanks Flik, that seems better . . . although I only wish I could get it into my current game, after I paid 2.8 million for the singular purpose of getting Jay Briscoe under some sort of contract . . . even for a short while. (I bought out Stampede Wrestling of Calgary). So now I've got a whole bunch of extra peeps on my roster, cluttering up the place like nobody's damn business. I already had more people than I used to begin with.

Also, do house shows stop morale from dropping? Because that could save me a lot of time and effort if I switch to a monthly system; then everyones happy! (cept me, I'll get less PPV buys.)

I've got a couple questions for people:

How many matches do you usually put on a monthly PPV? I usually only put 6 on (including the pre-show), because both times I put 7 on, I got the thing where the overall percentage value is lower than both the crowd heat and the match quality. I was thinking maybe I need more referees to put on that many matches or something.

Also, what's the best score you've gotten for a large show or PPV? So far the best I've gotten is an 88.

I got an overall show rating of 97 on hard for my equivalent of Wrestlemania in my NWATNA game, Anarchy in the Asylum. Unless it is a major PPV I only have 6-7 matches on my PPV cards, with major getting sometimes 8 with only an inerview between the two maain events. If you plan the order of the matches out right you shouldn't have a problem of dissapointing the audience.

If your overall percentages are always below your crowd and quality rating it is either the random bad show or some of your staff is dragging it down. I had this problem until I bought some quality refs after driving WWE down into regional. As long as Sophie doesn't tell you that you ned more of any staff type you should be fine.

After starting 5 new fueds only to have 6 of the particpants to either go down injured or into rehab spells the end of my NWATNA run. I just need to go through one more month until I can start my one fed. Hopefully by the time i leave I'll be able to get some talented people I haven't pissed off yet...

*cough*

You only get two unless you release the talent and then you pray to f'n Wrestling God that they don't get picked up.

Damnit, now I gotta figure out who to cut from my roster, all these people bitching . . . bludgers. *I* wouldn't bitch and jepodize a 20 grand a month paycheck for sitting around on my ass all day at home, what a bunch of idiouts. Quite the contrary, I'd be super-content!

Oh well, time to cut people. I guess I'll start with Lollipop, Athena, Teddy Hart, the Hotshots; Jason Cross, Jonny Smith, and maybe move on to B-Jizzle and Konnan; or the Alter Boys . . . such difficult decisions . . . oh, can't forget Jeff Hardy and Lita, whom I signed to shut Matt up. You think a guy on 243,000 a month wouldn't complain, would you?

And I got an 89 show rating, for one of my weekly PPV's. And I only put four matches on them, because their forever getting ruined by the preceeding match. On the plus side Benoits off contract; on the downside his stats REALLY went downhill with age, sad really . . . such a waste.

Guest Bobby Cox is God

I started a WWF '93 game, I'm 3 months in and here are my champions:

WWF World- Ric Flair (won it from Bret Hart at WM 9)

WWF IC- Shawn Micheals (had it since the beginning)

WWF King- Jerry Lawler (eh, this one is self explanatory)

WWF Tag- Money Inc. (won it fromt he Steiners at WM 9)

Right now my main feud is the Horsemen vs. Bret Hart and Razor Ramon. Ramon vs. Flair and Hart vs. Hart.

Horsemen = Flair, Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, and Sean Waltman.

OK, I've got yet another question. Is it possible to let a TV show go by without advancing a major feud and still have the feud not lose heat? I've got two TV shows a week, and with Daniels under open contract, I can't afford to pay him for 10 dates a month.

I've already done 8 interviews with Raven, and while they're certainly acceptable segments, it would be nice to leave the feud off a couple of shows. As long as the feud has 99 heat though, I really don't want to jeopardize it.

If it's major you can't.

Sorry.

Holy...Crap.

My 1998 scenario just scored me THIS

Bret Hart vs Chris Jericho (For The WCW World Title) : Jericho hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Chris Jericho hits a rolling kick on The Hitman. Driven DDT by Chris Jericho. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. The Hitman kicks Chris Jericho in the gut to reverse the momentum. Spine shattering vicious back suplex! Chris Jericho got absolutely creamed. Bret Hart gets taken down out of nowhere. Springboard reverse elbow by Chris Jericho. Excellent move. Springboard dropkick from Chris Jericho. Nicely done. Jericho only gets knees on a splash. Jericho gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from The Hitman. Jericho pushes out of a Bret Hart hold. Flying elbow from Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho has Bret Hart down...and locks in the Lion Tamer! The referee asks The Hitman....and we have a submission! The match is over. Awesome, Match Of All Time Candidate, this gets a ***** rating AND the ultimate compliment - it was as entertaining as Flair vs Steamboat.

I think I made SK orgasim. SEE WHAT WOULD OF HAPPENED IF YOU HAD OF HAD FAITH IN JERICHO AND BRET, BISCHOFF!

Also:

Does anyone know of any WCW banners floating around with WCW.com on them so I can use it in EWR? Specifically looking for the logo that they debuted in 1999. If not, no drama.

What's this 1995 and 1998 scenario business??? Can you make the calendar go back and have all the old rosters for WWF/WCW come up??? Teach me how!! Or is this another one of these RaveX patch thingies??

Scenarios are available for download at The Battleground?, such as my 1998 one.

Good ones are hard to come by, however, look for re-makes of Anthony's scenarios, which are the best available.

The date and year by which the game runs by goes through the clock on your computer, therefore if you use a 1998 scenario and would like to start at January 1998, set your computer clock to December 1997 (as it always starts a month ahead of whatever month your clock is set to).

You mean the New Blood logo for the site?

Here's at least the banner:

Here's the WWE logo, but was also I believe the New Blood version of WCW as well.

You know, I leave for a little bit and questions galour pop up.

Sort of. House shows keep jobbers, openers, lowercarders, and some midcarders from having morale problems as they have a better chance of getting on those cards, but also behaviour and attitude play apart as well as a guy with low attributes of those will rather be wanting on the main show than doing a house show. However, it also all depends on your money issues as you need to sign 10 people to written contracts and you better make sure it's 10 people you are willing to keep for at least 1-2 years.
