Guest realitycheck Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 After a grueling... three days of work, I've finished the SWF EWR scenario! Rejoice! I know I promised to include the OAOAST in it,for the sake of OAOAST vs SWF, but I realized that I probably wouldn't be able to get it done accurately. Furthermore, neither myself, SS or Mike could come up with enough relationships to make it interesting, so. Anyway, yeah, this is SWF only. But it includes a full, current SWF roster, with some SWF allstars to round it out. I tried to get as accurate stats as I could with people who did and didn't post on the EWR stats thread. If they aren't to your liking, eh. You can change them. I tired to add as much detail as I could, and with over 50 custom relationships, the fed is riddled with politics, just like the real thing! Anyway, download here: http://robbo.oeck.net/Stuff/SWF_DATA.zip Enjoy! -Z
Guest realitycheck Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 (edited) Blah. And a couple errors already... I screwed up some relationships, making them blood relatives instead of... whatever else. Change the settings on the following... Class of 2002 #7 (CIA & Tom; Friendship) Show & Duran (Friendship) Z's JLers #3 (Z & Janus; Loyalty) Edited August 4, 2003 by realitycheck
Guest Longdogger_Pete Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Dace Night & Va'aiga Sophie: "This team is not ready for the SWF Tag Team Titles. I'd give it to Chilly Dog intead." (Y)!
Guest realitycheck Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Another quick correction: Since I followed Mark's stats basically to the letter, I added his abysmal 60 for chrisma. Since he's the colour commentator for all the shows, you'll want to pump that up to 90 or so. Damn you and your humility, Stevens. -Z
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Dace Night & Va'aiga Sophie: "This team is not ready for the SWF Tag Team Titles. I'd give it to Chilly Dog intead." (Y)! Man, that Sophie is a smart gal.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Damn you losers and your matches! I'd rather be jobbing you to The Memphis Eel (who isn't being pushed enough, apparently) than marking your words.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Two quick notes before I go to bed: 1) I got a 99% match quality out of Spider vs. Mak. 2) Quiz has married Jayson G's daughter and is now unsackable and looking for a push. Douchetard.
Guest realitycheck Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Isn't Anna already married to Angel, though? And why the fuck do I remember this? -Z
Guest TheAntipop Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I move that everything Angel ever did be completely no-sold and forgotten about, forever and ever and ever.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Mr. G is my SWF's new commissioner. And, on Z's advice, I gave him and King a Love relationship. THE POWER COUPLE CANNOT BE STOPPED.
Guest TheAntipop Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 YES!!! Everyone who hasn't already started should edit me to love King! And also make me hate Axis! Edit: And loyalty to Edwin!
Guest The Superstar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 People that work well together: Spider Nekura/Mak (100 Match Rating) Frost/Raynor (95 Match Rating) ELM/Xstacy (100 Match Rating)
Guest DawnBTVS Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 (edited) Other Good Combinations... Wildchild vs Dante Crane(100% MQ) The Boston Strangler vs TNT(93% MQ) Frost vs Danny Williams(90% MQ) Sean Atlas vs Andrew Blackwell(100% MQ) Edited August 5, 2003 by DawnBTVS
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I better be in this one boyo. Or else I BE PUTTING YOU IN A WORLD OF HURT JAZZ MAN! WORLD 'O HURT~! -Annie
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 You're in it, Annie. But you're a jobber tagging with Xero and known as "The World's Gheyest Tag Team." That Z has a weird sense of humor.
Guest TheAntipop Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 *looks at Staff* Apparently Z considers me to be the SWF's Kevin Dunn.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 My commentators for Smarkdown are Galatea and Ben Hardy. For Lockdown it's the Memphis Eel and Funyon.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 My only complaint thus far is that it gets really confusing when head writer me tells me I'm not doing the right things. I don't know which me to trust, and this leads to crying.
Crowe Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 In my scenario, Zed says I'm not pushing Xero enough. I gotta take that boy's crack away.
the.weej Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 Bah @ Crowe. Anyway, folkles, give me an update. How well does this scenario run? Have the matches/ratings be fair and accurate? Has the SWF POLITICKS come into play like it was designed to? I never test-played myself, so I'm curious. -Z
Kaertos Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 I am curious about the relationships engine. Is it "in front of the cameras" or "behind the scenes"? For example, if we are "in kayfabe" I despise King with a passion. However, "out of kayfabe" he is one of my best friends.
Hank Kingsley Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 For the most part, relationships are out of character. If we had them kayfabed, people would refuse to work with each other and it wouldn't be pretty. A notable exception is the Thoth/Silent "Blood Relative" relationship.
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 I haven't played the scenario much, because I'M WRITING A MATCH FOR A PPV! So, should the rest of you, chop chop. Play time later.
muzz Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 I'll stick with the Sacred Wrestling Alliance~! With my roster that's pretty damn good.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 I played it for a while, i jobbed everyone out to Xero and gave him the world title before getting bored with the game like i usually do.
Red Baron Posted August 8, 2003 Report Posted August 8, 2003 I played it for a while, i jobbed everyone out to Xero and gave him the world title before getting bored with the game like i usually do. damn right.. i still lurk here the odd time.
