Alro Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Also, picked up The OC Mix 2 this week, and found out that Mix 3 (which should be out anytime) is a "Chrismukkah" mix of holiday music by alt rock bands. Yogalattes. I found the Chrismukkah mix on iTunes by accident this morning. I didn't pay close enough attention to see if it was officially out or just an iTunes presale. I've been waiting all summer for this and I'm going to be in meetings all night. I'll have to watch via the magic of video tape.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 You guys remember when the showed previews for the end of the "Dark Oliver Saga", with him holding Mariss in the hotel room or whatever it was, that the screen went blank and a "GUNSHOT!" was heard. I swear they've done this before, too. Did they change the end of the episode for that? Was Oliver supposed to have died? I hope not, he was one of my favorite characters, along with Luke and "Crazy" Eddie. All of them are seemingly gone now, tho.

From having Ryan's back in the Oliver situation (you say the word, and I'll drop the Great Gatsby on him) to boning Julie Cooper, he ruled, flat out. Oliver was one of the greatest heels on TV, because we ALL know guys like that or have dealt with them. Eddie...eh...I wasn't feeling it too much, maybe because he wasn't around as much as he should have been for that storyline.

Last year was one thing, but now there's no fear of it being cancelled. The events of this episode should've taken place over the course of at least two episodes. The major events from the end of last season got wrapped up too quickly.

Summer's looking hot, this baby deal can NOT be over and done with...it's gonna be a good season.

BlackFlagg Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 Nice start, as said it was a bit rushed but still some good stuff. the scene with Sandy and Caleb was gold, we need more paranoid Caleb from the preview looks like the new heel for the start of the season will be Psycho Poolboy. and damn, it's been awhile since I've watched season 1 but is it jst me or did Marissa...develop quite a bit since last season.

If it really does belong to Ryan (Did they ever establish that the baby was his?) he'll have to find out sooner or later. Babyface Luke... Too bad with him living in Portland, he probably won't be around much. Good start to what should be a good season.

Next week is Halie's last episode. I think they did good with the storyline. The thing I hate the most about wrestling is when they drag storylines on and on thinking they can pump life into them over time. We all knew Seth was coming home, why drag it on for another episode?

Thoughts: - Not enough Summer. - They were using more cuss-words. MATURITY. Ha. - They should do a series about Portland, and put in in the "North Shore's" timeslot. - Marissa's back is very bony. - Psycho Pool Boy...is it possible he and Marissa got it on during the summer? He was staring at her. - Jimmy's character was the definition of boring this week. - No Crazy Eddie....ah well.

I don't know about the summer, but it does seem Marissa has something with him. In a season preview it showed her mother walking in on her in bed with some guy and her mother said something along the line of "why the help".

They left open the baby factor for later this season or possible the season finale this year. I doubt we saw the last of her. I found North Shore better than OC tonight. Maybe I'm just more interested because North Shore's season is more recent than OC

Last season, we had it on a Wednesday night, so our great lineup was: 9 pm - The O.C. 10 pm - South Park 10:30 pm - Chapelle's Show 11 pm - Family Guy or Futurama (reversed) 11:30 pm - Family Guy or Futurama (reversed) THAT's a great stoner lineup. Last night, from what I recall, we got: 8 pm - The O.C. 9 pm - 5 minutes of North Shore, thought it was awful, then switched to Smackdown! for some reason. Wasn't even my (the wrestling mark's choice). And they actually LIKED it. 10 pm - We kinda went our seperate ways... MY QUESTION: What's good material to watch from 9 pm to midnight on a THURSDAY night?

Downloading her Maxim pictures is one thing, but watching her "act" and "solve the mystery" isn't worth it. I'll check out the after-OC lineups.... Got the Season 1 DVD set today!

The Theresa swerve totally had me. I'm sure we'll see her again, which is good. Not enough drunken Kirsten for me.
