Guest Eddie Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 did kanyon really take the bump at slamboree 2000?
Guest Eddie Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 i was really amazed when he fell off all 3 cages
Lil' Bitch Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Yes, he took the bump, but the platform he fell on, after he was thrown off the 2nd level of the triple cage by Mike Awesome, was staged so he wasn't seriously injured.
Guest Eddie Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 well regardless or not it was still awesome!
Guest Eddie Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 i would love to see a mortis vs kane angle
Guest Sakura Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 YOu don't see some things that scorpion and Mortis have in common. No. I don't see how Mortis looks like a yellow ninja.
justsoyouknow Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 I also don't remember Scorpion carrying around a skull staff with a jester hat on it.
Lil' Bitch Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 Mortis was inspired by Scorpion from Mortal Kombat since he was just there at first to be Glacier's rival, who was a Sub-Zero knockoff. Mortis was only loosely based (note the skull designs), but not as a big enough knock-off of the MK character as Glacier was to his.
Star Ocean 3 Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 Mortis would be an excellent comedy character. He could get the dramatic, scary entrance, and be as annoying as Kanyon when he talks.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 as great as i thought kanyons character was during the invasion, he could never be taken seriously with that goofy personality. he's been floating around doing nothing since his return from his injury, adn this might be just what he needs to jumpstart his career. im interested to see if they are gonna try to go anywhere with him.
