dubq Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Kevin Nash is gearing up to play the comic book character “The Punisher” of the Marvel Comics fame. This may explain this entire ‘hair vs. hair’ angle between him and Chris Jericho. Take that for what its worth. Now, unless there's another Punisher movie that I don't know about.... Last time I checked Thomas Jane is playing the Punisher [he's in the frigging trailer's] and John Travolta is the main villan. Rajah is saying that this came from the Observer... but I dunno, it sounds like bullshit to me.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 He'll probably be playing "Big Bald Henchman #3" in the movie.
Guest drunkenscarredangel Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Big, Bald motionless henchman #3
dubq Posted August 18, 2003 Author Report Posted August 18, 2003 "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad 30 seconds into the film"
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 I just hope Kev is physically prepared for all the rigorous waiting around on a movie set.
Lord of The Curry Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad 30 seconds into the film" I'd pay to see that.
Guest The Old Me Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 He's going to tear a quad getting into the make up trailer.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 On a side note... I think Thomas Jane may actually make a pretty good Punisher.

Ripper Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Did Thomas Jane get a hair cut. Be cause I can't see punisher with a hippie doo like his. Maybe Nash is Janes Stunt double. You know, when he needs to walk REALLY slowly, they can have Nash do it. They look just alike...

Crimson Platypus Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 imdb.com doesn't have him listed as even being in the cast at all.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad 30 seconds into the film" "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad during the coming attractions". He's loaded up in the ambulence by the start of the movie
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Big bald guy who is too scared to pursue Punisher... Bad Guy: Go after him! Nash: Uh I can't boss he might Shoot my QUAD!
notJames Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 I just hope Kev is physically prepared for all the rigorous waiting around on a movie set. Oh TAG~!
jester Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad 30 seconds into the film" "Big, bald, bumbling henchmen who tears quad during the coming attractions". He's loaded up in the ambulence by the start of the movie Nah, make him the lead supervillain so we can have the most original yet anticlimatic ending to a comic book movie ever. [The Punisher shows up, guns readied for the climatic last fight] Nash: So Punisher... it is down to us....AAUGH! [falls over clutching quad] [movie ends with the Punisher looking around with a "That's it?" look on his face while Nash is loaded into an ambulance]
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 They updated it saying Nash is not the Punisher, but another character and that Nick Cage is the Punisher. Now, I am pretty sure with trailers being around that Punisher is almost done, if not already and into the editing stages for next summer's release. Cage however is supposed to be Ghost Rider, so I think that they once again had a screw up and if the Cage bit is correct, Nash will be in "Ghost Rider".

Hmm, Ghost Rider is supposed to be making a cameo in the third Blade movie, as well. Triple H is supposed to be in that movie, too. Coincidence? lol
Guest Random Hero Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 After watching 'The Sweetest Thing' I can say that I'm not too thrilled about Thomas Jane as The Punisher. I hope however that he proves me wrong and is great.
Guest Choken One Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 All we need is A-Train to get "discovered"... I heard they were remaking King Kong.
AndrewTS Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Anyone else see this on the main page of the board, and click it expecting to hear Nash was injured?
Guest Choken One Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 No because The board would have collasped...
haVoc Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 I can see Nash jobbing after 15 run ins and 4 ref bumps, but I can't see Jericho being the one to shave Nash's head.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Don't worry. Nash will pin Jericho at the Chamber for revenge.
Lil' Bitch Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Another Dream Match: The Punisher Vs. The Super Shredder
Guest Nanks Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 Don't worry. Nash will pin Jericho at the Chamber for revenge. So true. Tonight really is a lose-lose Sure, we might get to see Jericho win a match against Nash, which will likely be some massively interference-laden it woud be impossible to call it a win, but that will mean we have to see Jericho pinned early in the Chamber to "give Nash his heat back". Despite the fact he's currently carrying enough heat to freeze water. On the other hand. We just have to watch Jericho get squashed by Nash and have his head shaved, despite tons of interference against Nash.
