Everyone has to cop that Vacation DVD. Pre-order them now before they sell out.

Day of the Dead is my must buy...I will finally have the complete Dead Trilogy in DVD form. Well, that is until they release the new SE Dawn DVD.

I'll get the Vacation DVD as well. It's only $14.99 at Best Buy.

My Best Buy add said that Mr. Show season 3 was coming out this week...but I could have sworn it was supposed to come out later.

Maybe they bumped it?

I saw that too.

I don't know how right my list is...but they usually get it right (or close to)

It's 12.99 at Circuit City. But then again, you'd know that if you read Bruiser Chong's DVD Discharge at SNKT. His piece put This Week In DVD's to utter shame.

Actually I read his already. I thought he was talking about Best Buy's price.

National Lampoon's Vacation (20th Anninversay Special Edition)

It will be mine. I am probably the biggest Griswold mark on the board.

It's great to see they finally release this movie in widescreen.

Versus?!!!!? Man, tomorrow will be a great day for DVD's

there are already two versions of Versus available, the director's cut and the thetrical cut. But they don't have extras, the new 2 disc edition contains the director's cut and a second disc full of extras

I'm ordering Day of the Dead SE and Versus SE tomorrow off an online site.

DeepDiscountDVD.com is the cheapest place I've found for both discs. $18 for Day and $20 for Versus with free shipping.

I'm gonna do my best to review Versus for the site as soon as I get my copy in the mail. It's bee on pre-order from HKFlix since the day they announced it.

I know, I was excited because it's a 2-disc version.

i'm not afraid to admit it; I LOVED 'CHICAGO'. i love the artifice of it. the sheer energy the whole movie exudes is just amazing. the whole last half of the movie, i could not stop smiling. the acting is incredible in its own stagey way that totally moves away from the more subdued, realistic trend that's been going on forever. the writing is clever as hell. most of the musical numbers fit in perfectly, and in their own strange way don't suspend your disbelief. the choreography is impressive, the editing is pretty mind-blowing, it's just fucking fun to watch. pure showmanship and spectacle, done amazingly well. if people can turn their brains off to watch people blow shit up and spout off cheesy dialogue that no one in the real world would ever be caught dead saying, why can't people turn their brains off to watch people singing and dancing while they kill and stab each other in the back?

Speaking of Bowling for Columbine, I created Michael Moore is Smackdown 4, just so I can kick his ass. I get Kane to chokelsam him off the hell in a cell or through a table! ^_^
