The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Hmm...One day I will write an open letter to Linda McMahon. Yes...what a glorious day that will be. The best part is that the only people who'll never read it are the ones it's intended for.
Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted August 21, 2003 I haven't heard this phrase that I am about to say for a while so here it goes..... OMG BAN PLZ~!! This little dude made as little sense as he possibly could. Couldn't this be considered a "troll," because I don't see how we care about any of this.....once again, this maybe just my opinion DFA
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 JR is bumbling moron who talks about Oklahoma football and can't call moves properly anymore. Just remember he pushed for Nathan Jones that should be automatic grounds for dismissal. Grammar error. Typo in "Oaklahoma." No, he's correct. It's "Oklahoma", not "Oaklahoma". SpikeFayeJettEdBebop 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 You guys arn't being very nice. I understand that for someone tht's 18, that was a really horrible letter, and that it's even worse IF he was lying about being 18, but come on, give hjim a break. Unless you want to write a letter, whether he actually sent that or not, you shouldn't make fun or him/her. Critizing the letter, alright, but you should make fun of him. He obviously is just adressing what means most to him. Oh and by the way, people ALREADY know about TNA and ROH and both of them are 100x better than WWE is. Infact, they are better than WWE EVER will be in my view. As soon as TNA gets a network cable deal(Which may take a while) TNA will become(or should become) alot more popular. The only thing saving WWE right now is it's money. That is it, it is losing fan base and isn't doing anything at all about it.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Critizing the letter, alright, but you should make fun of him. Like I should criticize YOU for making this ridiculous claim - Oh and by the way, people ALREADY know about TNA and ROH and both of them are 100x better than WWE is As evidenced by the horrible production values, shoddy camera work (by ROH) and bush-league tendencies? (see this week's TNA, with a title belt falling off a wire TWICE during a gimmick match, for an example). The only thing saving WWE right now is it's money. That is it, it is losing fan base and isn't doing anything at all about it. Oh, and the fact that they do better business than both of these promotions COMBINED. Oh, and a talent roster that puts all of these promotions "that the WWE hope to be" to shame. Oh, and said booking (that at it's worst point) that is STILL better overall than both TNA and ROH's angles.
jester 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 It would be thrown away as soon as they read the type-o's and internet abbreviations in the first paragraph. You can't send a letter to someone and expect them to take it seriously if it's poorly written and has abbreviations like "BTW" in it. Yes. And for the thirty millionth time, it's "COULDN'T CARE LESS." Not "Could care less." Damn that pisses me off. Any feedback they are likely to listen to has to be 100 percent professionally written, and it can't contain any cheap shots (the Lawler pedophile remarks) or stuff like "Fire Ross and Lawler." They are not going to read that and say "Great idea! Get those two losers in here right now so we can their asses!"
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Oh and by the way, people ALREADY know about TNA and ROH and both of them are 100x better than WWE is. How is TNA 100x better then WWE? You enjoy screwjob finishes week after week, a heavyweight champion being made into a pussy, Jeff Jarrett beiing one of the biggest pieces of shit in the business and Vince Russo? I love Ring of Honor but to say it is 100x better then WWE is an absurd and asinine statement.

bob_barron 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Well I'd like him to say why he thinks TNA is 100x better then WWE. And saying that people already know this is mystifying- I'd like to know what people he talked to
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Triple H needs to tear both his quads and break his neck while diving in the shallow end of a pool I'm not a Triple H fan by any means...but rooting for broken necks is just plain wrong

Guest Adrian 3:16 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 See, its stuff like this that keeps the WWE from taking internet fans seriously. I mean really, when the very first line is "fire JR and Lawler", what do you realisticlly think her recaction is going to be? Linda: *reads letter* "By God he's absolutely right! Get me Ross and Lawler in my office right away!" *announce team arrives* "Jim, Jerry, its been a fun ride all these years but I'm afraid we no longer are in need of your services. This letter from a plucky young fan of ours has made me see the light..." Now I'm not a betting man but I'll put odds that won't happen.... And as for being offended by the word "fuck", I have to say if something like that really bothers you you probably shouldn't be watching wrestling to begin with. Just be glad you never saw ECW (I'm assuming). This is the thing a lot of so called smarks don't get: even when you're right, Vince and friends still won't take you seriously because of the way you say things. Raw needs a better announce team in a bad way, granted, but coming out and saying fire two long time employees is not the most diplomatic way of putting it. And a lot of general excessive complaining, even if you're on to something, will just be dissmissed as whiny bitching by some nerd over his computer. Whether the bitching is justified is irrelevant, in WWE's mind.

Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 You people never cease to amaze me with your stupidity. This guy took a lot of time with this and made some very valid points. Could you guys discuss the good and bad points he made in an intelligent way? NO! You had to nit pick his grammar and dissect his entire post just to demean him. Geez, when you people learn to discuss things in a more mature manner this folder will become a lot better.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Actually, we had to convert his post from stupid-to-English (which is in the site rooms) and it was critiqued with a more keen eye because he came off sounding like he was going to send it to WWE Corp. You didn't add anything to the thread either except for calling everyone else unintelligent and stupid. Congratulations hypocrite.

Better that they nit pick his grammar and point out his mistakes before he sends off a halfassed letter that is probably going to be disregarded anyway. I am not an expert on grammar myself, but hey, if you're gonna put something out like that, don't get your panties in a bunch if you actually get a response. Big deal. Maybe he'll rewrite the letter. I liked his letter for the most part...I don't know if I personally would send it though...

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 A suggestion to Mrs. McMahon: In case HHH ever has to have another " Desire " video done for him, use 50 Cent's "Many Men" for the theme, it fits him well.

Guest T0rrent Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Just my $.02 here after reading through this thread and a majority of the points, so I'm only going to deal with the good since everyone covered the bad. 1. Announcers: Yes, I'm starting to get a little sick of JR and King. Luckily, I'm at school at night, so I don't have to listen to them very often, but when I have, I wanted to strangle Lawler. He needs to go back to being the heel that he was in the early 90's, and kill the breast comments. 2. The title: I'm not so much hating on HHH for having the title so long, as I am with how stagnant it's been. The last title defense he was in that I actually enjoyed was the 2 out of 3 falls with HBK. If he had better matches, I'd have no problems with his reign, but that's not been the case. The matches have sucked hard for the most part, and until they can get some better competition in there that can help carry him on his style, let someone else have it. Cause right now, he can't carry someone to a good match like Jericho or to a lesser extent HBK can. 3. Test: I think he's better off as a tag team person then singles. If they can pair him with someone who can do the mic work, he can be the next N.A.O. He's average in the ring which is more then I can say about some other wrestlers that I have seen, and with the right person(s) can potentially be carried in some decent tag matches. 4. Gimmick Matches: This is tough cause it's hard to come up with something that's going to be A: Entertaining and B: Not kill the partcipants. The E.C. definetly has potential, but like someone posted earlier, will need to be used sparingly. I actually really enjoyed the first E.C. and convinced my friend to order the P.P.V. based off of that match. (Yes, I enjoy watching HBK in the ring, so sue me

notJames 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 To Johnson and the other UndertakerHart defenders: This is a public forum. Ergo, anything posted on here is open to "public" scrutiny and, often times, ridicule. I think our 18-year-old correspondent is mature enough to suffer the slings and arrows of criticism lobbed at him. And if not, he needs to sell his computer and buy some thicker skin. The point is, no matter how valid the points are, they will always be overshadowed by the piss-poor writing in which it's housed. It's extremely irritating to have to wade through a bucket of shit to get to the diamond inside, which is often the case in Internet forums (TSM being the exception to the rule, of course )If I was Linda McMahon, I would have stopped reading after "hello". To quote Dr. Tom: "I've always looked at it this way: in a medium where you communicate via typing, you're going to look like an idiot if you type like one. It's a shame so many people are so willing to look like idiots." Indeed.

Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Why do people insist on writing these things? Like Linda McMahon is: A. Ever gonna read this. or B. Take any notice of it. Many more credible people than some guy on TSM have made these type of suggestions before and nothing happens. Oh, and if you think one of the main problems in the WWE is the RAW music then you need to look again. Firing JR would be a bad move too. He is extremely popular and still one of the best announcers they have. The WWE fans have made it clear that they want Jim Ross by their treatment of Coach recently. The WWE does NOT need more gimmick matches. That's my $.
Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 I'm begging the guy not to send that to anyone. Having TSM's name on it just makes our board look bad, should anyone outside of it even care. And come on, how much attention will they give you if you can't even discern between "funky" and "fucking".
