Cheex Incarnate Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 If by glorious chance I were to make a movie, this would be my soundtrack: "Gin and Juice"-Phish "Love is the Drug"- Bryan Ferry "Radar Love"- Golden Earring "After Dark"- Tito and Tarantula "Buckingham Green"- Ween "A Bit of You"- Rufus Wainwright "Blistered"- Johnny Cash "House of the Rising Sun"- The Animals "Summer time"- Bobby Womack "I Dreamed I St. Augustine"- Bob Dylan "Impeach the President"- Honeydrippers "Monica"- The Kinks "Living in the Past"- Jethro Tull "Papa Was a Rolling Stone"- The Temptations "Rockin' After Midnight"- MArvin Gaye I for one, think thats pretty swank. Anybody else have soundtrack ideas for their own movies?
godthedog Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 phish didn't do that version of "gin and juice." but kudos for the ween inclusion.
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 It depends on the movie, we would have to know what type of movie it is, to know if it is a fitting soundtrack. If its not fitting, then it takes most of the value away, but this is a cool topic and yeah, that looks like a pretty decent soundtrack....
Cheex Incarnate Posted August 23, 2003 Author Report Posted August 23, 2003 Phish didn't do it? Damn my lying friend! who did then?
BifEverchad Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 Phish didn't do it? Damn my lying friend! who did then? Phish did cover G 'N J... I have it on my computer as we speak.
Ravenbomb Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 I'd do a music-less movie, ala The Birds
Corey_Lazarus Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 I'd make a gore-filled horror/comedy, with nothing but metal and hardcore bands on the soundtrack. Well, okay, there'd be some psychobilly...but the rest is metal and hardcore, got it?!
Guest Choken One Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 I'd set a slasher horror flick to Country.
Art Sandusky Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 It'd be a sixties movie, and there MUST be a barfight scene set to "Barbara Ann."
