Movies only has : Downhome, Zsasz, and Lethargic Games also only has 3 with: Lightning Flik Insame Bump Machine Marvinsalunatic NWA TNA only bps and barron Puro only: Rikichosyu and Dangerous A NHB: Eagan, Banky, Johnson Old School: Wrestling Deacon and Cawthon Indies: only ShooterJay, Snadman and RRR General Wretling has NO nominations, and will be phased out if no one is nominated. Every other folder (the few left) is pretty well populated with nominees. Again, nomination ends Friday at 9 Central. I don't think NHB should have a "folder champion," since it's basically a bunch of nonsense mixed with bitching and flaming. General Chat gets a reprieve because of things like the gnome thread, and Metal Ed, which shine above the usual silliness. For Love, Sex, and Dating: definitely Stardust and EricMM. They're the beacons of light in a cesspool. The rest of the folder seems to be filled with people trumpeting the fact that they're gay, that they engage in deviant sexual practices, or that they're too chickenshit to actually open their mouths when someone with breasts is in the vicinity. Shine on, you crazy diamonds.

I told him in the videogame folder that I liked the gamecube controller and he practically called me an idiot and flat out told me he wouldn't respect my opinion because he didn't think too highly of the gamecube controller. Now I don't know if that's the attitude he takes elsewhere, but why would he act different in that one folder?

My god man... it was the GAMECUBE controller! Cut the lad some slack! Maybe my perspective on Eric is different because I've seen his worldview change over time (for the better, IMO). Comparing the posts he made in his nascent days in CE to the ones he makes now is like night and day. But then again, I'm admittedly biased toward the pop culture folders, since the rest tend to be wastelands to varying degrees.

Some people say it's true, some people say it's right, but yet, it's wrong. I mean the A button is rediculously huge!! Jeez... in terms of my suggestions? I can't think of anyone standing out enough. CE has a few people that generally post well enough. Well, a couple. General chat is such a smorgesboard (sp) but I'm really tempted to give it to Incandenza just because of his use of Bill Cosby's mug. LSD, I'd say probably SSD for two reasons. They're in her avatar Sike, seriously, it seems like she really facilitates that place these days. No one starts as many threads as her, and usually they're not stories about this girl some guy's been stalking for a year. In the end, I can't really decide gods of certain folders. Generally if a poster posts well they are the gods and goddesses of many folders. Sure, Marney is well known for her CE "work" but her frank honestness and *cough* grammar *cough* are as much a breath of fresh air in LSD to me as my posts seem to be to her. And love him or despise him or stalk him or whatever, Kotz is still and always Kotz.

They never try to become more informed, they refuse to learn, they disregard information that contradicts their biases, and they don't change, because they are dishonest and cowardly. You changed, not because anyone forced you to, but because you were willing to learn. And that speaks for itself.

I can understand going to a group circle-jerk and have 20 people hammer the same point into the group. It's like a group massage, you make each other feel better and more intelligent when everyone agrees with each other. But to come to a debate and do anything besides school someone or learn from someone (usually a little of each) is just a waste of time. THATS why I sometimes have such a problem w/ peeps like SP. He's all "This and this and THIS!" and we're all "well... what if it's not?" and he's all "STOP THE PERSECUTION!" Listen to the truth. Learn something.
