Bad Blood the crappiest PPV ever?

Recommended Posts

Guest JumpinJackFlash

After showing my friend some crappy(and yet funny) stuff that happened at Bad Blood 2003, I have concluded that it is the crappiest PPV ever. Or the one with the most "mistakes". Let me rundown the crappiest parts:

Let's start with Event 1 of the Redneck Triathalon, the Burping Contest. These burps were so fake, and I felt like it dragged too much. Frankly, the entire Redneck Triathalon dragged too much.

Next, we have Steiner vs. Test. At the beginning of the match, Test is acting like a pussy on the outside. So, Steiner decides to jump off the FLAT apron and clothesline Test. But, little did he know, there was a curtain underneath the mat. He slipped on the curtain and fell FLAT on the floor, right next to Test.

Then we had Booker T vs. Christian. The ending sucked my balls all night long! Christian starts to leave with the belt and the ref says, "If you get counted out, you lose the title." So, Christian comes back into the ring and hits Booker T with the belt, and the ref disqualifies Christian. Okay, why not give Booker T the belt because Christian disqualified himself. Ohh.....so it was only if he fled like a pussy, eh? Well, you bookers don't make sense.

Then came Part 2 of the Redneck Triathalon, the Pie Eating contest. :firing: Ouch! Mae Young in a thong? Ouch! Mae Young humiliating Bischoff, as Vince laughs at Eric being told to make a fool of himslef? Ouch! Stone Cold stunnering Mae Young, even though he's the top face? Ouch! J.R. not throwing a fit on Austin after stunnering Young, even though he PMS-ed when Test Pumphandle Slammed Mae Young the next night? Ouch! This sucks! It bored me! It disgusted me! Good thing I changed the channel.

Then, we had Goldberg vs. Jericho. This started off fine, until Goldberg made his entrance. I couldn't tell the first time, but after watching it again, you can see that there's a door in Goldberg's narrow lockerroom with an EXIT sign on it. During the match, Goldberg gets booed again. Well, too bad, because Goldberg's supposed to "save the WWE." Then, after the match, Goldberg throws a fit with a fan, in a TIGGER costume! Come on! WWE has made Goldberg out to be an idiot. I think they told him to trip on purpose at Summerslam. Jeez!

Then came part 3 of the Redneck Triathalon. Again, it took too long, and Stone Cold no-sold Bischoff's "singing." But, I loved the part with Bischoff lip-synching. One of the funniest moments ever! This "Triathalon" took up more time than Flair vs. Michaels, which made me mad. I was looking forward to a match with two legends longer than 15 minutes. I mean Rock vs. Hogan was 10 minutes longer.

Then, the main event. HHH wins again. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want Nash to win, but come on! HHH can kick out of 2x4 wrapped with barbed-wire and a Jacknife powerbomb, but Nash can't kick out of a Sledgehammer and a pedigree. Plus, HHH KILLED Mick Foley for no reason at all! It made me sad to see the world champion having to rely on a retired legend to take bumps for him and make this match semi-watchable. The only reason this is semi-watchable is because Mick is in it!

So, there we go. Bad Blood 2003. Supposed to be awesome, since its RAW debut PPV, but NOOOO! It had to suck ass! Anyone else think this is the crappiest PPV ever? There may be ones that are crappier, so mention those too.

I think it's basically the short matches, the shitty finishes, and the mind numbing super long Redneck Gay-athalon that went all night made it a horrible ppv.

Hell, I wanted to see Molly / Ivory on the actual PPV instead of that Redneck skit shit.

The only good things about the damn event was Nash being buried, Steiner's leap of doom and Jericho making Goldberg look good.

Flair / Michaels didn't need Orton tainting it either.

Can we say correct?

Call me the next time you're in town and I'll hit you with a barbed wire 2x4, and when you wake up, hit you with a sledgehammer. Then we'll compare results.

I don't really remember Bad Blood 2003. I think that I have blocked it out of my memory. I remember watching it, and I remember the "Redneck Triathalon" but outside from the Hell in a Cell match, I don't remember the card at all.

I thought Bad Blood was OK, but there was some absolute shit on it. To be fair, Nash and HHH DID make it a watchable brawl, but I guess that some people just love the 'hate every HHH match' bandwagon these days. You refuse to say whether the match with Goldberg and Jericho was good. Why ? Because you don't want to praise it, because you love being cynical. Basically you ignored every good point of a PPV that isnt even the worst of the YEAR never mind of all time.

I only saw the main event of this show and it was a very bad match. The whole thing was implausible and it sucked to see that Triple H was so desperate for heat, that the WWE sacrificed the health of a retired legend to get Triple H heat during the match.

Not the worst PPV ever, not with a ***1/4 Goldberg/Jericho and a **3/4 HHH/Nash HIAC.

KOTR95 had ZERO good matches, and is therefore worse. In fact, there are plenty of PPVs where nothing broke **.

What PPV was worse than Bad Blood this year?

Judgment Day. The bad matches were worse, and there were 2 decent ones on there, Stretcher and Ladder. It's a close one, but I think JD was just a little worse.

I'm not gonna argue about Backlash because I cant honestly remember most of the card besides Goldberg-Rock and the 6 man, but I was entertained way more by Judgment Day than Bad Blood. The only thing I hated about J Day was Nash- Hunter Part I.

Backlash was by far the worst PPV this year so far. The only good match on the card that I can remember was the WWE tag team title match between Team Angle and the Guerreros.

As far as the crappiest PPV ever goes, look no further then the 1995 King of the Ring. There was absolutely no good matches on the entire card. IMO, it was the worst PPV that I have ever seen.

KOTR 95 and Great American Bash 99 are the worst ppv's I have ever seen.

GAB99 had Benoit/Saturn vs. DDP/Kanyon, but everything else was total crap, and KOTR95's shittiness has been widely covered.

Bad Blood 03 doesn't even compare to these 2, IMO.

Bad Blood wasn't THAT bad of a show that it deserves all time worst consideration, especially considering how bad it could have been given Raw's thin roster.

I would honestly rank SummerSlam below Bad Blood, especially considering the huge show feel and the sense of importance SummerSlam is supposed to (but didn't) have. Four of the seven matches genuinely made me want to take my own life and the other three (Lesnar/Angle, US Title 4Way, Kane/RVD) were nowhere near the level they could have been.

With a Foley appearance, Flair vs Michaels, Jericho carrying Goldberg to his second best match ever, Booker T and Christian pulling out the best match of their series and Triple H and Nash putting on a match that at least slightly exceeded expectations plus 5 points for WWE for having the balls to try the concept despite barely having enough talent to fill 2 hours each week, I'll take it over SummerSlam any day of the week.

I dunno --- WCW's PPV's before the Bisso era in 2000 weren't afraid to suck the meat missile with some serious gusto.

Heck, the WCW PPV's from after Slamboree 1999 until about Slamboree 2000 were all pretty much suckfests (with Mayhem being a debatable exception).

And let's not even get into how bad the last ECW PPV was.

Badd Blood, I have no doubt, was not good (I have not seen a PPV since WM 19 and don't feel too bad about it) --- but it takes something special to really be placed in the upper echelons of suckitude.

...And let's not even bring up GAB 1991, the absolute worst show in the history of the business

90% of the roster dogging/half-assing their matches at GAB 91 earns the title of worst PPV ever.

WWF wise, KOTR 95. I honestly cant remember a thing from any of the matches in terms of offense except UT jobbing to a kick and leg drop. A KICK AD LEG DROP! The undead unstoppable Undertaker loses to a kick.

DDP at Halloween Havoc 98

I liked his match with Sting as well. Hell, I even liked his match with Perry Saturn a lot.

Indeed. Easily the best match of Goldberg's career in my opinion. I never saw the one with Saturn though.

I think it was at Road Wild. Maybe Spring Stampede. It was either 97 or 98. Damn, I'm not very informative. :(

Anyway, Goldberg picked Saturn up for the Jackhammer out of the Rings of Saturn for the finish.

I'll look up the date and get back to you...

EDIT: Spring Stampede 1998

Lesnar / Angle fucking owned.

Booker T and Christian pulling out the best match of their series

Their best match was actually at Insurrextion. Its miles better than their BB encounter.
