What was your favorite build-up video?

1.) Hart / Michaels from WM XII - I loved the look on both guy's lives.

 

2.) Austin / Rock from WXVII - Not only just the video itself, but when they had their pre-fight interview with both of them next to each other. Austin saying he had to have that belt back with Rock saying he would give Austin everything he had in him (the Rock).

 

3.) Austin / HHH from NWO 2001 - The video was awesome. Also considering how long the feud was going during that time.

 

4.) Undertaker / Lesnar from Unforgiven - I loved the look back on Taker's career and then the look back on Lesnar's growing up in particular.

I love HBK-Flair because WWE put some of its best build-up music in it, particuarly when Flair first turns on HBK in the tag match and when they start highlighting Flair's old school days afterwards.

Foley/Terry Funk - RAW - not the one for the WWF Title shot in May 98 but the one a few months before that where the Outlaws pushed them off the stage in the dumpster.

 

HBK/Undertaker - Badd Blood - my favorite match and 2nd favorite storyline of all time.

The HBK/HHH Buildup video for Summerslam 2002 OWNS.

 

Rikishi/Austin had one of the best video's for one of the worst matches.

 

Mankind/The Rock from Royal Rumble 1999 is another good one.

Austin-Rock at WM 17 is my favorite. Its just amazing! The song, playing into the video perfectly. And the toast!

 

HBK-HHH at Summerslam was awesome too. My second favorite video. It got people going, thinking if Michaels even had it in him to comeback.

 

HHH-Steiner at Royal Rumble is my third favorite. It may be a very very BAAAAAAD match, but the video is awesome. With the whole celebration, and then the interruption by Steiner. The freeze frame of the two with the moving sirens in the background. The song is great too. It makes this match seem like a 5 star classic. I can't believe I said that. Oh well. I don't even watch the match, just the video, and then I fast forward to Angle-Benoit.

I really loved the videos for Vengeance 2003. The theme of the night was overcoming adversity and made Kurt Angle and Zach Gowen out to be really courageous. Big Show and Brock Lesnar were made to look good in the hype as well.

I'm partial to Rock/Brock, Heyman's "I walk through the valley of the extreme" quote in the video is awesome. The HHH/HBK package from the same ppv is also incredible.

For what PPV was the 'Vince McMahon's Utopia' video? That was really cool at the time. Kurt Angle's 'Clocks' video before Vengeance 2003 was a great one.
