King Kamala 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Lamb of God, Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage Are Heavily Rumored To Tri-Headline Tour in October Well, although at this point it has yet to be confirmed, there is some leaked talk of a 'Headbanger's Ball Tour,' which will see Lamb of God, Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage rotating headlining slots. Unearth is said to support the first half, while God Forbid will support on the second half. The tour is penciled in to kick off "somewhere" in the US at the end of October. More details to come as this becomes official, so at this time, we'll file it under "Rumor." This article was copied and pasted from KNAC.com It's about time they started a Headbanger's Ball tour. Did they ever do one in the 80's-early 90's?
B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I don't really dig Lamb of God, but Shadow's Fall is great. Killswitch Engage are ok.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I crap myself thinking about this. I hope the second half of the tour roles through my area, as I love God Forbid and am only mildly amused by Unearth. I hope if it comes near me that it's not the show with Lamb of God headlining. THey're terrible live and on album.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I'd definitely go to this. I'm interested in catching Shadows Fall live, Lamb of God kicks ass, and I liked what little I've heard from Unearth and God Forbid. Stevie, I don't get how you think even their albums are terrible...the first one had some poor recording and quality, but the songs were definitely decent. Good groove breakdowns all over the place, and some pretty tough riffs. As the Palaces Burn is a LOT more polished, and it's a huge improvement. Everything has a lot more presence on the album, and choppy distorted mean chugging abounds. I've never seen them live, so I won't comment on that until I do. That said, the Jagermeister Music tour is better, as far as the fall shows go.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I've listened to both LoG albums. I can't get into them. The second one was definitely better than the first, but I just couldn't get into them, they sounded to me to be boring and repetitive. As for playing live, they're really bad. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Wasn't Lamb of God initially called, "Burn the Priest" but they had to change it for some reason? I saw them a couple years ago, they were great live.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Uranium on Fuse is better than Headbangers ball, but it is only 30mins and has interviews which takes up time. But song for song, it is better. Plus Julia C is fucking hot. I hope Uranium does a Metal Tour as well with Julia C going city to city with the tour.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 4, 2003 U'd think they gun for a Big Name who can bang with them but I guess they want to go the low approach and hit specific target markets... So which means RapZone cincy gets NONE of this.
