Guest rawmvp Report post Posted September 9, 2003 My goodness, Unforgiven looks like utter tripe. You've got to be a retard if you're thinking about ordering this travesty of a show. I mean, we've got THESE matches to "look forward" to: HHH vs. Goldberg (HHH could barely move and Goldberg can't wrestle = negative star ratings) Shane vs. Kane - last man standing JR/Lawler vs. Snow/Coach Dudleys vs. La Resistance & Conway - Tables Match Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton Test vs. Scott Steiner part XXVVIIIII Chris Jericho vs. Christian - I.C. Title Women's Title match RVD, of course, will be left off the card after sustaining career death. I don't know about you, but from what I saw tonight, RVD's career was buried beyond repair. I guess this will teach RVD to keep his mouth shut during interviews, huh?
Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 I could list PPV after PPV that was worst than this one, and I haven't even seen Unforgiven 2003 yet (obviously). There are a few matches on there that could either be great in terms of quality, or also in terms of simple emotion/feel.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted September 9, 2003 That Christian Vs. Chris Jericho match is not announced yet is it? I wouldn't be surprised to see the Intercontinental Championship not be on a Raw only PPV. Even for free, I'm thinking about missing Unforgiven. I am curious as to what type of reaction Goldberg will receive however. Especially if he wins the strap.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 That Christian Vs. Chris Jericho match is not announced yet is it? I wouldn't be surprised to see the Intercontinental Championship not be on a Raw only PPV. I think there's a concern about Jericho being able to make the show. They're not going to announce the match until they know his wife's status.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 What's the deal with that? I haven't heard anything about it. His wife is due with their firstborn sometime soon. As we have talked about all week, the talk around WWE is that Triple H will finally drop the World Title, to Bill Goldberg at Unforgiven (with, of course, the rumor being that he will get it back at the Survivor Series). Here is something that will throw a little more fuel on the fire. There will be a bachelor party for HHH after the 9/16 edition of Smackdown in Raleigh, NC. That is the last show before the Unforgiven PPV. Raw brand stars have been "invited" to stay on the road an extra day and attend the party. Smackdown wrestlers have been invited as well. For those asking why H doesn't just have it after Raw, my best guess is he wants everyone to attend. I expect anyone in the company with any common sense to attend the party because to blow it off would not be the best political move that someone could make. About the only person with a legitimate excuse to not come will be Chris Jericho, who will be excused for family reasons. HHH and Stephanie will get married in NY on October 25. Guest Coffey Report post Posted September 9, 2003 Yeah, I read that, but all it said was "family reasons." Where did you hear about the pregnancy?

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 Shit-tastic. If Christian/Jericho doesn't go ahead it definately has the potential to be one of the worst PPV's in a long time. I pity anyone who has to watch this crud.

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 I guess this will teach RVD to keep his mouth shut during interviews, huh? Like he was gonna go anywhere if he hadn't open his mouth? I knew his career died at Unforgiven last year and any slight chance of him becoming a world champion was blown to smitherens as soon the ***** of death happened. HHH vs. Goldberg HHH holds talent down, Goldberg doesn't get along with anybody. They both got egos. HHH is almost in a crippled state, Goldberg can't wrestle. HHH has made Ric Flair his bitch, Goldberg is an unsafe worker. Pick your poison. The only reason why it has come to this is because Goldberg has been made to be the last and basically only real threat to HHH. Every other competitor that HAD a chance has been buried, see past PPVs starting with Unforgiven last year. It doesn't even matter if Goldberg wins anyway because Spoiler (Highlight to Read): fucking HHH is already planned to get the god damn belt from Bill at Survivor Series The madness on RAW will never end... Shane vs. Kane Kane, please kick Shane's non-wrestling ass. Please? JR/Lawler vs. Snow/Coach What did we ever do to deserve this? Dudleys vs. La Resistance & Conway - Tables Match Are the tag titles even up for fucking grabs? Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton Possibly the only good match on this PPV. I see Orton winning too. Test vs. Scott Steiner part XXVVIIIII I just want Steiner to lose, so I can see him became Test's towel boy, sex slave, whatever the fuck Test wants Steiner to be to him etc. Just imagine all the humiliating segments on RAW from this. Chris Jericho vs. Christian - I.C. Title *crosses his fingers for this match to be added. Women's Title match I don't give a shit. Yes, this is already looking a lot worse than Unforgiven from last year. And if all worries come to light, this PPV might be actually worse than Bad Blood, Backlash, Judgment Day, etc. His wife is due with their firstborn sometime soon. Jericho was on the Orlando Jones show tonight and He announced that the baby is going to be a boy and they are naming him Ash after the Evil Dead movie character. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 It sucks that its so obvious that Goldberg is gonna win the title. The Gambling Thread odds on him will probably be like bet 1000 to win a 100... The Commentator match is gonna suck, but if they are smart they'll throw it out there first. And depending on who they get to do the commentary, it could end up being funny or something. Ash Irvine. Theres a joke somewhere in that.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 This will BY FAR not be the worst PPV ever. Have we already forgotten WCW in 1991 and 1995? WWF in 1995? I wasted a few hundred $ ordering those. Goldberg / Triple H (Goldberg winning), HBK / Orton (Orton winning), and Jericho / Christian (Piper vs. Adonis II) are matches I would pay to see. Whether or not they're all ***** is another matter but I'm sure they'll at least be enjoyable to some degree.

Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted September 9, 2003 yeah, even if this tanks it still won't be the worst PPV ever, not even the worst WWF/WWE PPV ever. But I'm still not going to order it, not after Raw's last PPV.
Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 well RAW will just have to try again at ArmAgeddon (which is the next RAW only ppv).... they can make it worse.. I KNOW IT

Tawren 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 No PPV will ever be as bad as GAB 91. I don't think anything this year will be as bad as Bad Blood or Judgment Day. Bad PPV? Probably. Worst ever? I really doubt it.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2003 You underestimate the crappyness that was Judgment Day and last year's Armageddon.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 9, 2003 How can this be worse than Bad Blood? Randy Orton, JR, Jerry Lawler, Coachman and Shane McMahon ensure that. HHH/Goldberg physically can't be good, Orton will drag HBK all the way down to Randy's level, JR/KING/COACH/SNOW!, Shane getting 8 and nine counts on Kane, Steiner/Test 800000 where Test beats Steiner and sleeps with him, no RVD, maybe no Jericho, and the possibility of Molly/Gail-Lita/Trish? HOLY SHIT.

Guest JericholicEdgeHead Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I think this PPV card proves that Vince doesn't really give a crap anymore. Does he really think fans want to pay to see JR & Coach wrestle?? Does he really think fans want to pay to see yet another cookie-cutter womens match that we have seen several times on RAW?? Does he really think fans want to pay to see his son wrestle?? Does he really think fans want to pay to see Steiner vs. Test AGAIN?!?! Does he really think fans want to pay to see the Dudley's vs. the French guys again??? I've come to the conclusion that Vince has all the money he needs and could care less anymore what type of shows he puts on. No way.. 8-15 years ago would Vince put on a PPV like this, of course PPV's actually meant something back then, and oh.....Vince seemed to actually care about his product back then too. He may care now but has a funny way of showing it.
Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2003 I was probably the ONLY man on this board who was stoked to see HHH/Berg. Not because HHH had to drop the belt and/or Goldberg gets made to look like a fool and gets canned. I really wanted to see it. HHH working hard (ala with Flair) can still carry a match. Goldberg and Hunter could have probably put on a decent spotty match, and made it emotional. HHH can barely walk now, and he won't stay out of the ring. Does he NEED to get those 3 moves in the tag matches? I can see him aggrevating the shit out of that injury een more before the PPV. The match is going to suck ass. It would have had a hrad time being good as it is, but it is screwed now. I'm really considering missing my first PPV in 2 1/2 years.
