Detective Comics Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I really want to see it again, because I missed the part where the mic cut off.... I was checking to see what Family Guy episode I was missing. So, if anyone has it, post the link here, and make me laugh.
Silence Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I really want to see it again, because I missed the part where the mic cut off.... I was checking to see what Family Guy episode I was missing. So, if anyone has it, post the link here, and make me laugh. HHH:"Hello..............hello..............hello............hello......can someone get me better equipment here? Hello.........hello......hello......." *HHH FINALLY gets a working mic*
Crimson Platypus Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Best part was when JR said "I guess HHH doesn't know the folks at home can hear him"
Just call me Dan Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 If someone could clip that together along with his few HEY HEY HEY HO HO HEY HO HEY, stopping the Rock in mid intervieww, I would mark.
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 One of the funniest things ever. I couldn't stop laughing. HHH makes me laugh every week, from YJStinger to HHHello. Forget Friends and Raymond, RAW is the most outstanding comedy series.
Guest Duncan Eternia Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 HHH also said something like " I didnt know Goldberg made mics, these don't WORK right either" Great Line from HHH the ultimate Smark.
Guest RollingSambos Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Reminiscent of the Jericho cheap shot on Smackdown! in '99, only this time he was correct.
Silence Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 HHH also said something like " I didnt know Goldberg made mics, these don't WORK right either" Great Line from HHH the ultimate Smark. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that too, LOL.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I was trying to figure out why the camera cut to the crowd who was holding up the GOLDBERG letters...
Guest VictorZ Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 HHH also said something like " I didnt know Goldberg made mics, these don't WORK right either" Great Line from HHH the ultimate Smark. I think he said "they don't work well either". But still that was the funniest part of RAW.
Guest Coffey Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I didn't think any of it was funny. It was all just sad and pitiful. Especially from a company as big as the WWE. You think they would test these things during commerical breaks or whatnot.
Detective Comics Posted September 17, 2003 Author Report Posted September 17, 2003 Anyone else remember the HHHonk he let out after he showed the Katie Vick segment?
Lil' Bitch Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 *proudly has a copy of it audio-wise EDIT: The HHHonk that is.
Guest Duncan Eternia Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 Whats the HHHonk....I dont remember that
Lil' Bitch Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 He laughed so hard it sounded like a honk, but it sounded more like a dirty fart to me.
Guest Coffey Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 My fuck, must this shit always be brought up? It wasn't funny when it happened, and it's not funny now. Quit dwelling in the past you damn sheep.

Quit dwelling in the past you damn sheep. Yes we must....for we are the Smarks....defenders of truth, justice, and good wrestling!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! (owen style, not flair)

Guest Trivia247 Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 hell its not a new thing folks... mics cut out on him before.... remember during his face period and talked about McMahon the mic cut out and he went through like three of them till he found one that worked..and he said. "Billion Dollar Company and still can't get mics to work."
Guest Cerebus Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 HHH also said something like " I didnt know Goldberg made mics, these don't WORK right either" Should Paul Levesque ever say something like that? I mean considering HIS matches and all...

Styles Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 HHH also said something like " I didnt know Goldberg made mics, these don't WORK right either" Should Paul Levesque ever say something like that? I mean considering HIS matches and all... HHH is a careful worker, I don't think he's ever hurt anyone in the ring. Oh, and first person to bring a "HHHello?" sign to RAW is my hero.

HHH bloopers are so funny because he takes himself so seriously.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 HHH is a funny guy....unfortunately he buys into himself to much and thus we get what we get. I still think instead of the 20 minute interview every week Kevin Nash and HHH should come out and do some stand up and then never be heard from again.
TheFranchise Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 Living in the UK i haven't got Raw yet, but i was so curious about this i downloaded it (btw it's at Sledgehammer forums) and must say, HHH making the worker comment was class.
jester Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 Am I alone in thinking that the microphone comment about Goldberg was totally out of line? Regardless of what you think of Goldberg, HHH stepped out of character and broke kayfabe by basically saying Goldberg is a bad wrestler. Now, forget whether or not the comment is accurate. It's like getting up there saying "Whoa, we sure put on a shitty show tonight, didn't we? Did you see how fake that table spot looked?" If I ran the company, I'd be furious at anyone who broke the illusion. Too bad this isn't the MSG-era HHH, or he'd be in for six months of merciless jobbing. Incidentally, this isn't just hhhatred talking. I'd still think the same thing if Jericho or one of my other favorites had made the comment. Another gem from the company who encouraged us to chant "boring" at Lance Storm...

Another gem from the company who encouraged us to chant "boring" at Lance Storm... I agree with you, the cheap shot was totally unprofessional and had no place on a wrestling show, but nothing too terrible, because while he broke kayfabe, the comment was so thinly veiled that I don't think it'll do Goldberg any damage. I don't think should go unpunished by WWE though, because by letting HHH get away with it, they're setting a bad standard for the rest of the company that could lead to more trouble in the locker room. While I don't think they'd be that unprofessional, I'd like to see what would happen if RVD or Jericho were in a similar situation.

Guest Coffey Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 HHH won't get punished for the "shoot" comment because the WWE will just take it as a "rib" on Goldberg by Triple H. The "boys," supposedly, are big on "ribbing."
