LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 I thought the demon who dressed like a human was pretty funny.

Cavi 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Humorous episode. Spike being all happy about Gunn pissing in Angel's chair was funny.
Mole 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 *scoffs* I didn't say that this season was better than Last Season. *scoffs again* That's just SILLY. *scoffs one more time* It seems like you implied it though...
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 No, what I was "implying" was that this season doesn't suck. Which is what YOU were implying with your "this season is disappointing" line. The demon dressed up as a human was both hilarious and disturbing - which it was supposed to be. "LorneyTunes"! This IS the season of the Harm.

The demon dressed up as a human was both hilarious and disturbing - which it was supposed to be. "LorneyTunes"! This IS the season of the Harm. It is disappointing because last season was so good. I am not saying it isn't good, just not what I thought it could be. Angel got a 3.1 and The OC got a 6.5.

BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 On top of comedy gold it was an episode full of Foxy-ness with Fred, Harm and Eve. LoL at Eve "This isn't the first time I had sex under mystical influence, I went to UC Santa Cruz<sp?>" Yeah, definately not as good as last season so far...but it'll be tough to top with all that went on then....I'm just hoping that if this is indeed the final season they find out with enough time to get a nice final story arc going, would suck to go out on a filler season. Mole 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 This isn't the first time I had sex under mystical influence, I went to UC Santa Cruz I didn't get this at all.
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2003 probably just a fancy way of saying drunken sex, heh....or she was saying the college was involved in the mystical area, I mean these people who get into places like W&H have to learn it somewhere, eh? Mole 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2003 Mole, it means that happens all the time at the University of Santa Cruz. *shakes head* Dames Yeah I got that. I just don't get the USC reference, that's all. Who from the writing staff is from USC?
Max Danger 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2003 I'm in the same spot as Mole. I get what she was talking about. The meaning of what she said. I, however, don't get the UC-Santa Cruz reference. What about that school made them use it? Is there some significance behind it, like Mole suggested, a writer going there? That's the problem with it. Not what she meant, but why UC-SC was used. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I'm Canadian... ...How'dya think it made me feel? "WHY THE FUCK DID SHE GO TO SCHOOL WITH THE FAT MAN ON A SLED AND JERRY MCGUIRE!"
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I would imagine it was just a school that one of the writers went to and it was a major party school. Either that or someone on the staff is a Pulp Fiction fan.
Mole 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I'm Canadian... ...How'dya think it made me feel? "WHY THE FUCK DID SHE GO TO SCHOOL WITH THE FAT MAN ON A SLED AND JERRY MCGUIRE!" You get Angel re-runs left and right, so you got that!
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Well, I got the Season One boxset for my birthday, and I'm loving it so far. I just finished watching "I Will Remember You", and it's my favorite episode so far. Angel turning human is just awesome on many levels. But then again, I'm almost halfway through the season, and no real story arc besides the slow introduction of Wolfram and Hart. "Hero" is up next. Oh man. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 You'll have all the arc in the world for Season 2, 3 and 4 - so quitcherbitchin Joss is the Arc-Angel ( ) of building long-term storylines. (I'm so baaaad)
Mole 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Ahh, season 2's story arc is pretty sick.
Guest stardust Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Speaking of Season 2...I'm watching the tail end of what probably has to be one of my favorite episodes ever, but I don't know the name of it (I've never been good with episode titles). It's the ep where the guy, Billy, touches other guys and it brings out all of their hatred and anger and stuff. Lilah gets the shit beat out of her, then shoots him out on the tarmac at the air port. Wesley tries to kill Fred and she rigs up the device with the fire extinguisher and knocks Wesley through the floor. The day after this episode premiered, I remember going to my lit class and like three or four of us having a good fifteen minute discussion with our prof. about this episode. So, yeah...anyone know which episode I'm talking about?
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 I just watched Hero... Now, I said I'd never cry during a TV show, but damn it, I guess this episode (and The Prom) were exceptions to that rule. Seeing Doyle die was so sad, and then replaying the commercial from the beginning just made it worse.
