I gotta weigh in here on the whole "Spike tried to rape Buffy" debate. And lemme say right up front, no, don't take this as any kind of blaming-the-victim "she was asking for it" kind of bullshit.

 

Think about this: on pretty much every occassion that Spike and Buffy had sex, it was always hostile and violent. Usually, they started arguing, and then beat the shit out of each other, and then suddenly started fucking like rabbits out of nowhere. How was that one night in the bathroom, from Spike's point of view, any different from any of the other times? Buffy says she hates him, wants him to go away forever, etc, etc, same stuff she's been saying for years. It wasn't until he saw just how terrified she really was that he realized what was going on. And as soon as he realized it, he stopped. Simple as that.

i think it is the last season because they have nowhere else to go they've killed a god and cordelia is suppose to be in the coma now the spike twist is good but that can only last for so long then eventually you'll have to start bringing all the remaining cast of buffy on angel just to get people to watch so yeah i think they'll be wrapping it up this season

Damn, that's one long run-on sentence. Punctuation, boy. Learn it, live it, love it.

Psychologically it was WAY different. There's different types of violence, and this was much more violent than fucking down a house. Plus it was in her home.

This is exactly how I wanted to put it, but you did for me.

 

But what RRR said about love is true too, so I am in the middle at this point.

Off the subject, but in the latest SFX mag, Joss said Ripper is not going to be a show. If they do end up doing it, it will just be a one shot deal.

Oh bah...there's no Angel episode tonight on TNT because of Basketball!

My WB affiliate won't show Angel until 12:00 tonight, because of a what you ask? A fucking basketball game. God dammit.

I heard Marti Noxon included the rape scene because fans were starting to take Spike's side. She did create the story based on her past relationship (ugh...).

 

Anyway, whether you think Spike was right or wrong in what he did, the fact remains that a vampire without a human soul IS naturally evil. Joss and co. have stated this many times. Vampires can love, but the love is a selfish, possessive one.

1. Tonight's episode was pretty good, but this season is disappointing me. I guess because last season was SO fuckin good, it is a let down.

 

2. Wes drunk is gold. It reminds me of the old Wes, when he was such a clutz. Even though I like the new Wes, the old one is always great.

 

3. The fact that this episode was Lorne centered, was good. I can't remember the last episode that was based around Lorne.

 

4. Fred seems like she is getting hotter and hotter each week. She didn't used to do a thing for me, now she is.

 

5. Spike being positive is also comedy gold. James can do just about anything, I hope he has a good future after Angel.

 

6. Eve has the foxy.

 

7. "And Eve, you stay here with me and have more sex" funniest line of the night.

 

8. We need more Gunn though, I like the way his character is going.

 

9. Next week, well, looks like it appeals to us wrestling fans.

1. Drunk Wes is soooooo fucking close to being better than Badass Wes. And THAT'S fucking impressive considering Badass Wes is fucking GOD.

 

2. Drunk Fred is soooooo much fucking better than current Fred and about a good level and a half better than whacky-afraid-of-the-world Fred... and hotter. Youch. When she was bendin over for like 10 seconds... Youch. Moral of the Story - Keep Fred drunk, but keep Wes as a badass who likes to drink on occasion.

 

3. Lorne was fucking annoying me though.

 

4. I concur. The Foxy IS the Foxy; and the Foxy is Eve.

 

5. That blood/wine/arm thing is just fucked up.

 

6. SEX! ANGEL! EVE! YES! FUCK FUCK FUCK! FUCK LIKE RABBITS! SESSSSSSUAL TENXION!

 

7. Gunn pissing on everything fucking gold. They need to keep that shit up.

 

8. Knox is cool, but Holden still fucking owns him. Either way, fuck this "Dude de jour pimps on Fred", I'm tired of that shit. Wes needs to be fuckin that shit down or just fuck somethin else pronto. We went through this before!

 

9. Harmony is SOOOOOOOOOO getting on my good side. Her dancing alone one the floor sooooooo warmed my heart. And then there's the "Bossy" or whatfuckingever she called Angel which soooooo says that Angel has totally warmed to her too.

 

10. This episode ruled. I missed the first fucking 10 minutes and I hate myself for it... luckily it airs tomorrow on SPACE at 8 and I am going to fuck that shit up all over again. I'm all about that shit - SHUT UP Mole, SHUT IT UP, this season fucking rules now. They need the beast back for one eps. though. You know, for old times sake.

 

11. "What, do they think I'm only inviting them so I can kill em?" - hilarious. Fuck, this eps. will go DOWN in the history books as being fucktacularly fucktastic.

 

12. You can generally tell if I like something if I overdo the swearing (esp. "fuck"). Fuck, thank god I watch Angel alone cause I was dancing, doing the fucking twist, marking the fuck out like a bitch, "SPIKE!" "ANGEL!" "GUUUUUNNN!!!" ... thank god no one else saw that... but I feel safe sharing it with you, fine freaks of the goodness that is Angel and the brotherhood of Buffy... God bless you... and yes, I DO go into DEAN-mode... RavishingDEANRudo

There is NO FUCKIN WAY that this season is better than last season. No way. Last season ruled above all, and of course the BEAST was because of that.

That was a fun ep. Harmony was looking mighty fine on the dance floor. When did she get hot?

 

Fred bending over = good. The scene with her and Wes looking for Lorne's sleep was funny, cute, and a little sad. Poor Wes. He has a severe case of one-itis. I mean, bitch played him before and hooked up with Gunn, now she be pullin that friend shit to hook up wit Knox. Fuck that noise. Of course, there really isn't anyone for Wes to hook up with. Maybe Harmony, I guess, but that would make no sense.

 

"Oh no, she shot Lorney-tunes!"

 

Have I mentioned how much Harmony rules? Because she does.

 

I also loved Gunn's reaction to Lorne getting his sleep removed. "That's great!"
